Chapter 21 - Reveal

Kyle's voice cut through the void.

"What did you do? Who are you… really? I'll say this only once. I don't care about this world. Just don't touch my sister."

The mysterious figure tilted his head, almost amused.

"Why would I care? I can do anything I want. If you have the power to stop me… then try."

He snapped his fingers. In an instant, countless stars began to drift toward one another, merging into a single, impossibly massive star. Its light was blinding, its presence crushing. The figure raised his hand and pointed toward her.

"Stop that thing… if you can."

Kyle didn't hesitate. He lunged at the mysterious figure, seizing his skeletal frame with one hand. With a single motion, he hurled him toward the oncoming star.

The figure's body blurred, moving at impossible speed, colliding with the star head-on. The impact ignited a detonation so vast that nearby planets shattered instantly.

The shockwave raced toward the solar system, ripping through the void. But before it could reach, the kyle moved his hand, whispering an ancient, long-forgotten spell.

A massive, black void blossomed in the middle of space. Its pull was absolute, swallowing the colossal star whole. In moments, the destruction, the light, and even the sound were gone. erased as if nothing had ever happened.

Kyle began chanting a powerful spell under his breath, the words vibrating with ancient force. Across the void, the very bodies of the universe began to twist and shift. Stars, planets, and shattered fragments slowly reversed their chaos, each returning to its original place as if time itself had been rewritten.

Back on Earth, Ero appeared beside Kyle in a shimmer of light. She glanced at him with a faint smirk behind her mask.

"I didn't know you actually had a brain, brother. You chanted a spell that summoned a black hole, and you made it swallow the star without touching this world. You're starting to like this place, aren't you?"

Kyle rested his hand on his chin, his gaze distant in thought.

"That guy… is truly something else. He casually captures gods, controls planets as if they were toys, and even has the power to reshape the universe itself. I'll give him this,

he was the first opponent to actually entertain me, with abilities far beyond anything I've seen."

Ero crossed her arms, glancing around at the restored stars and planets.

"Well, it's all good. There's not too much destruction or loss of life. Anyway, we're lucky the elder and the original creator of this world didn't notice anything at all. Shall we go, then?"

Kyle's lips curled into a proud smirk.

"Who else could turn the impossible into the possible? Your brother is so powerful that no one can match me. You should at least praise me."

Ero rolled her eyes, but he continued before she could reply.

"Anyway… let's go."

With a single motion, Kyle sliced through the fabric of space itself. A vast dimensional door opened before them, swirling with light and shadow. He gestured toward it with a confident grin.

"After you, sister."

They stepped into the swirling corridor of the dimension, its shifting colors bending and folding in ways that defied logic. But before Ero could pass through the next portal, Kyle's arm shot out, stopping her in her tracks.

His eyes narrowed.

"Wait."

A presence was approaching silent, yet unmistakable. The air within the dimension began to ripple, as if reality itself was uneasy.

From nowhere, the mysterious figure emerged, his steps unhurried, a faint smile curling across his face. His voice was calm, almost too calm.

"Thanks for the fun ride," he said softly. "I enjoyed the view… of the infinite black holes."

The mysterious figure placed his hand against the fabric of the dimension and began walking toward them. With each step he took, the world around him unraveled. The colors, the shifting shapes, the infinite corridors. All of it collapsed into nothing.

The void spread with every footfall, until the once-vast dimension became a hollow emptiness.

Sensing the danger, Kyle pulled Ero through the dimensional gate, stepping back into their own world. A moment later, the mysterious figure emerged as well, his presence cold and unshaken. He slowly closed his hands together, and behind him, the collapsing dimension folded in on itself… and vanished completely.

Ero's eyes widened beneath her mask.

"Kyle… did you see that? He erased countless dimensions just on his way here."

Kyle's gaze stayed fixed on the man, his tone low and serious.

"Yeah… I noticed. He's at the level of the advanced ranks in our organization. This needs to be reported for everyone's safety."

The mysterious figure tilted his head slightly, his voice carrying a riddle-like tone.

"Do you know what the most impossible thing is?"

His gaze locked on Kyle.

"A being who was born with nothing… and that being is not me."

Kyle froze, his fists tightening at the words.

The figure's voice softened, but his words cut deeper.

"But Kyle… are you really real? Think about it. Doesn't it all feel fake? The way you were born, the way you feel… it all seems unnatural. At some point, you noticed it too. So tell me who are you, really? And why do you even exist in this world?"

Kyle's mind spun, the weight of the question sinking into him.

At his side, Ero's voice broke through.

"Kyle… look at your body."

He snapped out of his thoughts and glanced down only for his breath to catch. His form was fading, fragments of himself dissolving into the air. Panic flickered in his eyes as the vanishing spread faster, stripping away everything until there was nothing left.

And then, Kyle was gone.

The mysterious figure turned his gaze toward Ero and began walking toward her, his steps slow and deliberate.

Ero felt it immediately. She took a cautious step back, her muscles tense.

Then, a voice echoed through the space. familiar yet sharpened with a new edge.

"Haha… I know what you were talking about. I realize now I was wrong… and this time, I'll return the favor."

From nowhere, an unknown source particles began to take form, swirling into existence with unnatural speed. A figure emerged from the chaos partially human, yet undeniably different.

Scales glimmered across one side of his body, his eyes burning with a feral light. Claws protruded from his fingers, and a faint, smoke-like heat radiated from his skin.

Kyle had returned, not as he once was, but as something new. A hybrid, half-dragon and half-human.
