Keno felt extremely bewildered by what he said. He folded his arms across his chest. "Are you saying you'll tell me everything that's happening here? But how do I know you're not lying?"
The robot replied, casting a cold gaze at Keno, "That's because machines do not lie like humans. We are in a position of control over you now and have no need to use deception to achieve our goals. As for my true purpose, I need your help, and likewise, you need my help. I would not risk my life and come here just to lie to you."
Keno looked at him skeptically. With his right eye, he noticed something strange inside this robot, as if it were a living being. Keno could hear the sound of its heartbeat and noticed it emitted heat like a human. His confusion grew, but he decided to play along and see what it wanted.
"Fine," he said in a sharp voice. "I'll trust you. I don't have anywhere else to go, anyway. Now, what should I call you?"
