Dante's eyes narrowed into a glare once he heard that accusation, and his next words had enough spite to make Angelina take a step back.
"Not everyone has an ulterior motive when they do things for others. Don't insult me with your bullshit, you spoiled brat."
Angelina felt shock pass through her when she heard what Dante said, and a feeling of shame filled her heart at that moment. But the shame died away quickly enough, and she frowned in anger! She turned to leave the room while giving Dante a few last words.
"Well, you better keep one eye open when you sleep from now on. You've just made a lot of enemies, and they'll want you dead sooner rather than later. I hope you enjoy your broken dynasty, boss."
Angelina didn't care if Dante had planned all of this or not; the only thing that mattered was the fact that he had gotten it! There were many people who had been looking forward to Fredrick becoming the boss, and Angelina knew that they would not be happy that her father gave it to Dante! The underworld was not the sort of place where you could just steal a million-dollar business without repercussions, and Dante was definitely going to have his work cut out for him in the coming months!
Angelina walked out of the room quickly and slammed the door closed behind her and Dante let out a calming sigh once he was left alone in the room with Risa and the lawyer, and he put a hand on his forehead to try and get rid of the headache he knew was coming.
"Master, are you alright…?"
Risa holstered her gun quickly as she tried to check up on Dante, but Dante raised his hand and told her not to bother him. Risa immediately stopped in her tracks and watched as Dante walked over to one of the seats and fell back into it.

A sound suddenly came from Dante's system as a new tab opened, and Dante looked up to read what it said.

Dante was completely floored by the system's messages. He read through everything quickly enough, and he hummed curiously as he began to understand it slowly. So the system was basically saying that it would give him more missions like the one he got before to kiss Risa, and he would be getting free points from completing them. Dante accepted the changes easily enough, but once he read through everything, he realized that this was what the system had been trying to tell him about earlier in the penthouse.
Dante had told the system before that he didn't have any intention of betraying the Lucas family to take the position of boss, but the system told Dante that he wouldn't have to betray the Lucas family! This meant the system already knew that Dante was going to be named as the next boss!
'Why didn't you say anything?'
[The system didn't feel the need to interfere in a situation that was inevitable. The user had already been destined to be the next Boss from the moment he inherited the system, so there was no need for the user to be informed.]
Dante scoffed. There was no way the system did this just because it didn't want to interfere! Dante had already gotten used to the system's personality in the past few days, and Dante was sure the system only did all this because it thought it would be entertaining!

Dante sighed as a small smile broke out on his face. There were just too many things happening at the same time now, and the only thing Dante could do was laugh at the absolute absurdity of it all!
Dante looked over at the old lawyer who was still calmly putting his documents into his bag, and he saw a small tab floating over the man's head that looked like a life bar in a game. The tab read [Loyalty Progression], and the old man's loyalty was at [35%]. Dante didn't know if this was good or not, and he had to ask the system for its input.

It simply implies that this person is neither friendly nor hostile towards you, but you have not done enough to earn their complete loyalty. Any loyalty progression beyond 50% implies that the person views you as someone they cannot betray or abandon, and a loyalty progression at 100% implies that the person is willing to lay down their life for you the moment you ask for it.]
Dante hummed internally as he got all these messages, and he decided that a 35% loyalty wasn't that bad after all. He had never met the old lawyer before today, so he shouldn't be expecting the man's loyalty to already be at a hundred percent.
Dante saw that the old lawyer was already done packing up, and Dante spoke.
"Did he tell you why he chose me?"
Dante's question was simple and straightforward, and the old lawyer didn't need to be a genius to understand exactly what Dante was trying to ask. The lawyer put his bag down once again and gave Dante his full attention with a look of respect on his face. The lawyer was now talking to the new boss of the family, so it was only right that he showed him the proper respect.
"I am not in any way capable of knowing what it is that goes through the minds of a man as great as George Lucas, sir."
