"You met that Elijah Montenegro earlier..."
Cherry frowned at Gilbert's remark. "W-Who told you I met him?"
"Then why is there a rumor going around the hospital about the two of you?"
Cherry didn't quite understand what the man was saying, so she quickly got off the bed to escape him. However, Gilbert quickly grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her hard, causing her to fall onto his chest.
"W-What are you doing?" Cherry asked as her chest pounded loudly. She tried to stand up from him but he held her tightly by her waist.
"Where are you going? Are you avoiding my question?" Gilbert said, bringing his mouth close to her earlobe.
It was as if something crawled with fear throughout Cherry's body because of his hot breath touching her ear.
"W-What are you talking about? I-I don't know," Cherry denied again and then turned her face away from him.
"Fine," the man said and then slightly moved away from Cherry.
