AFTER dinner, Gilbert was busy reading the documents that Liam had sent him on his laptop. He couldn't attend to those things because of the incident that had happened. He was in bed with his brother, leaning against the headboard and wearing glasses.
Cherry was also quietly reading her favorite book written by Nicholas Sparks, titled "A Walk To Remember." She had finished reading it several times, but she still didn't tire of it, and she still cried every time she heard the beautiful love story of Landon and Jamie.
Perhaps because of what had happened and her tiredness, Cherry fell asleep quickly.
When Gilbert noticed that the woman was already asleep, he reached for the switch to turn off the light and open the lampshade.
An hour had passed, it was already eleven o'clock at night when Gilbert heard Cherry moaning and seemed to dream. Her head was constantly turning left and right and her face looked as if she was terrified.
