After the hot picnic, Cherry felt sticky all over her body. Gilbert, in a good mood, carried her to the bathroom for a bath. It took her half an hour to finish bathing. When she emerged, food was already prepared on the table.
"Eat," Gilbert instructed, taking a seat on the wooden chair across from her.
The table was full of delicious and varied food, and when Cherry saw it, she felt hungry. But when she remembered Abby's situation in prison, she suddenly lost her appetite.
She watched Gilbert who was drinking coffee while reading something on his MacBook. She felt it first before speaking. "Umm what... did you get the CCTV footage?"
Gilbert's eyes narrowed when Cherry asked that, and because she was afraid that he might get angry and not help her, she immediately explained.
"I-I'm just worried that Abby's graduation might be affected because she's in jail," Cherry explained to the man.
