THE NEXT day, Gilbert called his secretary and gave an order. "Contact Chairman Scott and connect the call to me," he said on the other line.
A few moments later, his cellphone rang, and he heard a calm and elegant male voice. "Mister Ace Carter, what can I do for you?"
"Uncle Henry, I wish I had something smaller to ask you for," he also calmly instructed on the other line.
Henry Scott was a thirty-three-year-old, only three years older than Gilbert Ace Carter. Although the two families had a superficial relationship, there was a strong connection between them in the business world. That's why Gilbert politely called him 'uncle'.
