"You don't have to thank me, Cherry," Elijah said, glancing meaningfully at the girl. "You know I consider you family," he added, then smiled sweetly.
Cherry's heart seemed to be touched by what she heard. It was fantastic for her.
But what Cherry didn't know was that for Elijah, family meant being close to being a couple.
Elijah smiled secretly as he continued driving. He was in a good mood because he was with Cherry during those moments alone.
"By the way, I heard that Northville International School is also in the U.S. Right? St. Claire University has a program where they send students there every year to study?"
"With your grades, you can pass if you try."
Elijah was right. Northville International School is also in the U.S. where he plans to apply to that program of their university to study abroad.
Cherry's mind suddenly brightened, and she had hope that her future with Luke would be better abroad.
