Cherry knew that the man was angry so to him everything he said was wrong. That's why she just kept her mouth shut and then stood up and went to the cabinet where her medicine kit was kept.
"Sit down, I'll change the gauze," Cherry ordered when she returned with the kit.
Cherry thought he would object, but she was surprised when he did as she said. He sat on the edge of the bed and held out his hand without hesitation.
Cherry pulled the plastic chair and sat down opposite him. The man was silent as she took his hand that was wrapped in gauze.
"T-This hurts a little so just bear with it," Cherry reminded. She didn't understand why she was so nervous at that moment while holding his hand.
