"ARE you happy?"
Liam felt a chill when he saw his boss' scary look at him. So before he could think of anything, he immediately explained.
"Mister Ace Carter, Miss Blaire thanked me for the lawyer you assigned to her last time. I said you ordered the lawyer, so she said she bought you a gift as a token of gratitude," Liam explained.
Gilbert was stunned when he heard that, and the dangerous look that was only visible on his face vanished.
"Stop talking too much," Gilbert said to his secretary after turning around.
Liam breathed a sigh of relief. Luckily, his boss believed him and his mood improved. Otherwise, he would be the one to suffer the whole day he spent with his boss, who was as hard as a rock.
Liam also followed his boss, and in his mind, he realized his boss had changed since he became close to Miss Blaire.
He just hoped that his boss would continue to change so that his life would be easier.
