"Excuse me, miss. Did you bump into me?" Cherry asked the woman with a frown.
"What? I bumped into you?" Leila raised her eyebrows, looking at Cherry as if she were joking.
"Why would I bump into you? Do you know how much my clothes, bag, and shoes cost? Even your one year's salary is not enough to buy them. Would I purposely bump into someone like you and get my clothes dirty?"
The woman's response took aback cherry. She had simply asked why she had bumped into her, but the woman's reaction was unexpected.
Deciding not to argue further, Cherry suggested, "The Debonair has surveillance cameras. If you're not willing to admit it, we can request to review the footage."
Leila scoffed at Cherry's suggestion. "You think you have that kind of power? A lowly intern requesting to review the camera footage? Are you kidding me? If someone didn't know you, they would mistake you for the boss of Debonair," she retorted with a laugh.
