Episode 12: Back to Normal
After Soros's invasion was successfully stopped, the townspeople threw a victory party for Aizakawa. Everyone enjoyed bowls of ramen together. At first, the ramen was offered for free by the shop owner, but Aizakawa felt guilty—so he paid for every bowl eaten that night.
Once the party ended, Aizakawa returned home. As soon as he walked in, his foster mother hugged him tightly and said:
> "Are you okay, Aizakawa? I was so worried when you were hospitalized."
Aizakawa smiled and replied,
> "Yes, Mom. I'm fine now. I'm home."
---
The next day, Aizakawa returned to school.
But something felt different.
His name had spread across all of Japan after his victory over Soros.
As he walked through the halls, he wondered,
> "Who in the world revealed my identity?"
Suddenly, Akazone, Kyou, and Zans appeared in front of him.
Without hesitation, Aizakawa asked,
> "Which one of you told everyone I'm Evros?"
The three looked at each other and immediately pointed fingers:
Zans pointed at Akazone.
Akazone pointed at Kyou.
Kyou pointed at Zans.
Aizakawa smacked all three on the head, leaving them with bumps.
> "You guys… why would you say that!?"
Finally, Akazone answered,
> "We felt bad for the humans. When they thought you were dead, they lost hope. But when your body fell from the sky, they started to suspect… so we told them the truth."
Aizakawa sighed deeply and said:
> "I see... well, I forgive you."
---
Back in the real world, the townspeople kept showing up to give Aizakawa food.
> "Here, young man! This is for you!"
So many people brought him gifts that he could barely carry them all.
> "And this is just on the way to school… I can't imagine how bad it'll be once I get there…"
---
And sure enough…
When he arrived at school, all the students and teachers welcomed him with loud cheers:
> "Welcome back, Evros!!"
Aizakawa could already guess who had spread his name.
> "It must've been Mialethra…"
The principal came forward and said,
> "Alright, today we celebrate Aizakawa's victory against the alien threat! There will be no classes today!"
All the students cheered joyfully, while Aizakawa smiled quietly to himself, thinking:
> "Even if all this is a bit too much… I'm just glad everything is back to normal."
---
However, elsewhere—in the Japanese military base—all the generals and top officials were stunned after witnessing Aizakawa's battle with Soros.
The supreme commander said,
> "We must recruit him into the military. I'll go to his school and speak to him myself."
---
Suddenly… the sky changed color, and massive golden letters appeared above Earth:
> "Planet 1780 Is Under Attack."
Aizakawa's eyes widened.
Without hesitation, he raised his hand and asked his teacher,
> "Excuse me, Miss—urgent matter!"
The teacher simply nodded, fully aware he was no ordinary student.
Aizakawa soared into the sky, transformed into Evros, and called out to his elite team:
> "Akazone! Zans! Kyou! Follow me… we have to save Planet 1780!"
> To be continued…
