Celeste stirred softly, her lashes fluttering against Dominic's bare chest. His arm was wrapped around her waist, keeping her close.
The steady rise and fall of his breath had lulled her into the deepest sleep she'd had in days. Now, she was barely awake, and his lips were already on her skin.
"Good morning, beautiful," Dominic murmured, kissing the side of her face, her temple, then her cheek. Another kiss on her jaw. Then her lips. "Guess what today is?"
Celeste groaned lightly, burying her face in his chest, but she smiled.
"Dominic, it's too early."
He chuckled, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "It's your graduation day."
Celeste's eyes popped open as she looked up at him in mock surprise. "Oh my God, it is."
Dominic leaned in again, peppering her face with kisses. She squirmed playfully beneath him, giggling as he kissed her over and over. Her laughter filled the room, bright and carefree. It made his chest swell.
