Chapter 8 - Chapter Eight: Gentle Uncle

Kamado Tanjurou was indeed a little worried about his physical condition, but he only felt a bit concerned and didn't realize he might die soon.

Kamado Tanjurou simply thought that something was happening to his body and that he would be fine after a few days of recuperation.

While drinking water, Sora Mori's eyes fell on Kamado Tanjurou, his eyes flickering slightly.

If memory serves right, Kamado Tanjurou would die in a short time. Judging by the timeline, it would probably not take a year or two.

Currently, the entire Kamado family is basically supported by Kamado Tanjurou. If Kamado Tanjurou dies, the family will face hard times.

For a moment, Kamado Kie's graceful figure and plump form appeared in Sora Mori's mind...

"Call..."

Taking a breath, Sora Mori suppressed all the thoughts that came up in his heart.

At the same time, he raised his head, looked at Kamado Tanjurou, and said with a smile: "I think Mr. Tanjurou's body is still very strong. Such a heavy tree is easily dragged away. If it were me, I'm afraid I couldn't even hold a small tree."

Hearing Sora Mori's words, Kamado Tanjurou wiped away a bit of worry that had risen in his heart: "Mr. Mori is right, I might be overthinking."

After finishing speaking, Kamado Tanjurou seemed to have thought of something, so he couldn't help asking again: "I don't know what plans Mr. Mori has next?"

"I'm planning to visit the town," Sora Mori smiled.

"That's just right. I'm also going to the town to sell charcoal. By the way, there's also the big black bear that you killed yesterday. What are you planning to do with it?"

Black bears are rare, especially bear paws, which are extremely valuable. Even selling a cart of charcoal might not match the price of a bear paw.

"Mr. Tanjurou was joking. I didn't kill that big black bear. If you hadn't acted, I might have lost my life. That black bear naturally belongs to you."

"Then thank you, Mr. Mori."

Kamado Tanjurou didn't refuse; he just mentioned it casually. After all, such a black bear is worth a lot.

After the meal, Kamado Tanjurou took out the family's ox cart. With the family's farewell, the ox cart drove quickly to the town.

Sora Mori was sitting on the ox cart, and his eyes first fell on Kamado Tanjurou, who was driving the cart. Looking at Kamado Tanjurou's face, who hadn't even panted while walking, he couldn't help but think.

The other party seemed to have practiced the 'breathing method' to a very high level.

He's a character that's not easy to mess with; even the ancestor of demons, Kibutsuji Muzan, wouldn't be able to best him easily.

Kamado Kie stood in front of the door, watched the figure of the ox cart gradually recede, and began to urge the children to enter the house.

"Mom, do you think Uncle will come over again?" Nezuko looked up and asked.

"How would I know that?" Kamado Kie shook her head. Sora Mori was the guest Tanjurou brought home last night, and she had never seen him before, nor had Tanjurou ever mentioned having such a friend.

Therefore, Kamado Kie thought he might have been a passerby spending the night. They probably wouldn't meet again, but these were not easy things to tell the children.

"It would be great if Uncle could come here often." Hearing what her mother said, Nezuko's beautiful eyes were a little disappointed.

Kamado Kie couldn't help looking at her daughter and touched her head, with some curiosity: "Why would Nezuko think so?"

Nezuko didn't answer her mother's question but took out a toffee from her pocket.

Nezuko carefully opened the wrapping paper of the toffee, revealing a toffee piece that was obviously half smaller.

Kamado Kie's eyes unconsciously fell on the toffee wrapper, which had a pattern of a cow on it, almost lifelike.

"Mom, try this."

Nezuko raised her small hand and offered the toffee piece to Kamado Kie's mouth.

The toffee was sweet at the entrance, sweeter than any candy she had eaten, almost sweet to her heart.

Kamado Kie felt she had never tasted such sweet candy before. She closed her eyes unconsciously, her beautiful eyelashes fluttering slightly.

"That uncle gave it to me, gave me one piece, and gave big brother one piece."

"If that uncle comes back in the future, maybe he'll bring us more candies."

As she spoke, Nezuko had a look of anticipation in her eyes.

Hearing this, Kamado Kie couldn't help squatting down and gently tapping her daughter's head: "What a little glutton."

"Then, Mom, do you think Uncle will come over again?"

Seeing the anticipation in her daughter's eyes, Kamado Kie couldn't help scratching Nezuko's little nose, coaxing, "Of course. He'll definitely come to see my lovely Nezuko."

"After all, someone as gentle as Uncle will definitely like a cute girl like Nezuko very much."
