On Sunday morning, a little military van stood in front of The Golden Apple to pick up Hermes and Magni.
"Do I really have to use the guild's transpo for this?" Hermes scratched his head. "I can just commute. I'm used to doing that anyway during the holidays."
Somner shook his head. "You're officially a hero under the guild now. Which means that you deserve the rights to protection and security during your travels. There's so many possible attacks that can happen if you draw attention to yourself in public transpo."
"I feel like this would draw more attention though."
Hermes gestured at the bulletproof van with built in radar and tiny missile launchers.
Magni just looked at the van in amazement. "You humans sure have fascinating ideas and creations. A moving beast made of metal… Which also shoots fire and metal! I love it! Brother Modi, let us mount this machine at once!"
