Hani did not give a second thought about the consequences as she stepped out of the room. As she was about to leave the school building, Xian was waiting outside, trying to calm down. In the heat of everything, Hani did not notice at the start until Xian grabbed her by the arm, turning her around. A stoic look on his face as they stared at each other without a word, the look of frustration ready to fight back on Hani towards Xian.
He gave in, sighing, he knew the words he had said in that room, trying to remove himself from the situation, the words he had said explicitly to hurt her. He knew of Hani's problems and her urge to do whatever she could for the people she had gained affection from, the loneliness she was so afraid of. Whether it was because she was doing it for herself or for Stella, it was evident she was not backing down, and in this moment, he felt the same way about Hani disappearing from his life.
