The workers made their way to the display where the magic devices were locked behind. Unlocking it, they attached the item to Hani's arms. It was a basic wearable magic device. While devices were not uncommon, a flying device was something that was rare, which got Hani excited. Apart from vehicles, the only other way people could fly was by using their skills if they were born with it, so Hani really wanted to experience this.
Device on and with the instructions understood, Hani stood there as she imbued magic into the device, balancing herself. She was suddenly floating, she got a couple of inches off the ground, then suddenly stopped. "Eh? Am I doing something wrong?" Hani attempted to go higher but was not able to do it at all.
"Hani... apparently, this device really only lets you fly around 10cm above the ground," Stella said as she awkwardly pointed at the text the device was displayed with.
