The bell rang for lunch as Stella instantly asked Hani about the headteacher, "Hani! What did Mr Valmore want with you?"
Scratching her chin, happy but not knowing what to do about the situation, she gave an awkward laugh, "About that..." Right at that moment, Emma barged in, rushing towards Hani.
"Hani! You were called into the headteacher's office?" Emma asked Hani, and following behind her were Xian and Leslie. With the whole new group of friends she had now, she felt excited to share this news.
Being alone, Hani never had the chance to share such excitement before, like when she got the scholarship to Dashmorth High, she celebrated it by herself.
"Well... Um, so the headteacher said... I can take the specialist classes attended by A-rank students!" Hani said with excitement, a little too loud. Shock filled the faces of not only her friends but those who were there with her, looking at the floor, ignoring them all, the classmates around her.
