His breathing grew heavier.
"Tokita Ryu..." he muttered aloud, holding his head. "That's the name of this body... born in Tokita Ward..."
His eyes widened. Wait, Tokita? Tokita Ward? No way.
Memories of the Kengan Asura manga came crashing into his thoughts. The brutal underground world of fighters, corporate battles decided through bloodshed, and monsters in human form that walked the same streets. And now, he was one of them—or at least, would have to be.

The name clicked—Ren, a fellow street fighter from the neighborhood. One of the few who wasn't trying to kill him on sight.
"Yeah… Just needed to rest. Where's Jin now?" Ryu asked, voice cold.
Ren's eyes widened. "Dude, don't tell me you're thinking of getting payback already. That guy nearly killed you yesterday. He's out by the basketball court, picking on some rookies."
Ryu clenched his fists. The system quest flashed again.

Blood flowed from Jin's nose as he lost consciousness.
