Chapter 57 - Chapter 56

After a full day of fighting two-tailed beasts, I sat on Han's unconscious body, gazing at the horizon.

"What a nuisance; the old redhead got away," I muttered to myself, thinking about what I had to do next.

I looked at my clothes, which were completely torn, including a large hole that revealed my now fully healed abdomen.

I glanced at the jinchūriki, whose eyes were blank.

I could do many things with him, and the one thing I absolutely had to do was drain his chakra, but without killing him. I'd drain it little by little, since the Five-Tails' chakra could be quite useful in the future.

I knew that with this, Onoki could try to negotiate with Konoha. The village might not have much affection for tailed beast jinchūriki, but these were times of war, so it was necessary to have this military power right now.

Thinking that the old dwarf would do that, I started to devise a plan in my head.

...

The next day, in my new clothes, I arrived before Shikaku with a now conscious Han, but enveloped in Wood Release and a seal that interfered with his chakra.

"Look, I went fishing and caught a jinchuriki," he said, throwing Han between us like a sack of trash.

Shikaku just rubbed his eyelids with a sigh, looking at Han and then at me.

"So, what do you plan to do?" he asked, since, as I was his prisoner and couldn't get rid of him even if I wanted to, he decided the best option was to cooperate with me.

"Onoki will most likely want him back, so I'll handle the negotiations with him, if you don't mind," I replied.

"The meeting would most likely have been a nuisance, so I don't care," he said with a dismissive wave of his hand, "but I do need to be present and leading the negotiations."

"Alright, as long as my objections are met, you can act as negotiator," I said, taking Han back and heading to a place where I could begin my experiments.

Shikaku didn't stop me, but I did overhear him say "troublesome woman," though I didn't say anything, since that's like a verbal tic for the Nara.

With that, I led Han to the dungeon. The guards let me in without question, just bowing, which I ignored.

We passed several empty cells since movement between Iwa and Konoha has been the second slowest, only Kiri's being the slowest, due to visibility issues.

Some cells held prisoners, whom Shikaku thought it would be beneficial to keep alive among the people in front of me.

"So, successor to the Shikaku position? How's life treating you?" I said to the prisoner.

He was covered in dried blood, his hands and feet bound, with several seals that I myself placed on him; he may not be very good in terms of management and administration, but there is no denying that he is one of the best elite jōnin in Iwa.

"You came to torture me again, tree-hugger," he tried to mock, but his voice sounded hollow, emotionless; it was as if he said it out of habit rather than desire.

Han stared at Onoki's son, Kitsuchi, completely broken and with an almost empty will.

"Relax, I'm just passing through, guiding my new prisoner; coincidentally, you're from the same village, can you believe it?" I said, mocking him.

Kitsuchi initially dismissed it, but when he saw who it was, his eyes widened in horror and a touch of panic.

"WHAT?! *cough cough* What do you plan to do with him?" he tried to shout, but his voice was dry and his throat was sore.

"Hmm, what do I gain by telling you?" I questioned him. Kitsuchi opened his mouth, but not a sound came out; he just stood there staring, unsure how to respond.

I wasn't going to wait for him to do anything all day, so, without saying another word, I went to the cell furthest away, which was also the entrance to the dungeon, to keep Han imprisoned.

Once I arrived, I struck him three times in quick succession on the chin, leaving him half-conscious, so I could remove the branches from his body and chain him up.

"Okay, how do we do this?" I asked myself, trying to figure out how to passively drain the biju's chakra from him, little by little, without killing him and without him having to be present.

...

In the end, I did nothing. I thought the branches enveloping it in the wood element would slowly drain the biju's chakra and mold it into a flower that would secrete the chakra into a seal, but I had to be present to do that.

So, I decided to stop wasting time and, placing a seal of the cursed tongue on it, I began experimenting in front of it while slowly extracting the biju's chakra.

I knew Onoki would request a meeting at any moment, so I had to prepare as quickly as possible, all in Han's presence. But since the seal was in such a way that I couldn't say anything about what he saw at the Konoha base, I wasn't worried for a reason.

I didn't really care if he said anything about what I was doing; I just cared that he didn't tell right away, since that was a way to screw Onoki over, and if Han told him immediately, I wouldn't be able to do it. If time passed, it didn't matter, since there was nothing I could do about it.

The week passed like this until Onoki's request arrived.

I spent all that time in the dungeons preparing myself, while they left Han without food; I only gave him water and the bare necessities. The weaker he was, the better for me.

The letter said he wanted to negotiate with us for the Five-Tails.

Shikaku just saw me, so, just to annoy him a little, I stayed still, blank, and not moving so he couldn't read my expressions or deduce my thoughts.

"Troublesome women," he said as he began to write the letter.

...

In a place, in the middle of the Taki, there was a spot with very few trees, a perfect place for Iwa, and with the intention of having fewer resources for my wood element. How naive.

Shikaku, Inoicho, Choza, Han, and I were standing facing Onoki and three other Iwa ninjas.

No one said a word or moved a muscle.

Onoki's eyes were fixed on Han, looking at his malnourished form, bad both physically and mentally, since I hadn't let him sleep during these seven days, and I still haven't given him the chance to do anything.

His gaze shifted from Han to me, and he frowned. I just smiled at him, with all the intention in the world, while I kicked Han, preventing him from falling asleep.

(Note: Comparing the physical characteristics of real people to ninjas, Han can remain like a normal person without being able to eat, drink, or sleep for three days, since his chakra was also drained, affecting him as well.)

Before anyone could say anything, I spoke.

"I also have his son, old man Onoki; I'll return him to you, and you give me a copy of how to master the Dust Release."

Onoki glared at me while Shikaku sighed, Inoichi tried to remain serious, and Choza chuckled.

"I don't care about him; I'm here for the village's weapon, nothing more. A tailed beast can't be replaced, so it's something they need," the short old man said firmly.

Shikaku looked at me, only to have me nod.

With that, I pulled out a letter for everyone. An Iwanin went to collect it to deliver it to Onoki.

He glanced at the letter, then back at me. His gaze shifted between me and Han several times as he pondered his decision.

After all, the letter was... quite special.

In exchange for handing over the Five-Tails jinchuriki, we demand that Miyu Senju go to the Hidden Stone Village to retrieve three S-rank ninjutsu from her possession. If this option is not accepted, we will extract the Five-Tails for our permanent military force.

Onoki's eyelid twitched sharply.

The Rock knew he had no way to stop the extraction of the biju. Jiraiya was known to be a master of sealing techniques, capable of doing it, and with me, using my Wood Release, they could keep the beast captive until it was sealed by a Konoha ninja.

The worst part was being powerless, since Konoha was already at war with the four ninja villages; what else could he do? His only option was to prevent his enemy from gaining more military strength, even accepting the entry of a Kage-rank enemy into his village during times of war.

"Fine, I'll accept your conditions, but the Senju will stay with me at all times and separate from the jinchuriki," Onoki said.

"No problem on my end," I said before Shikaku could speak, dragging Han across the ground and throwing him forcefully at an Iwanin, sending him crashing to the ground next to the jinchuriki.

Before he could do anything, I approached Onoki, hugged him, and pressed my breasts against his bald head.

"We can go all the way to the village, of course, if the old man doesn't mind," I said seductively.

Onoki's nose was already bleeding, while the other ninjas ignored Han and the female ninjas on the ground, looking at him with envy.

"Cough cough, I don't see a problem with that," the old man said, heading towards the village without leaving my side, momentarily ignoring Han.

That way, his full attention would be on me, and he wouldn't notice Han; that way, he wouldn't be able to send any messages to Onoki, not to mention his exhaustion and discomfort, which incapacitated him to the point of being unable to walk properly.

...

After a day and a half of travel, we arrived at the Village Hidden in the Rocks. Thanks to being glued to Onoki at all times, they couldn't give him any vital information, neither about Han nor any other ninja, which was my plan.

Before reaching the village, I had to change my rock disguise and put on a hood; after all, I have a hefty bounty on my head in the village; it would be very unwelcome if I appeared out of nowhere and they didn't try to kill me.

Onoki, wanting to get this over with quickly, went straight to the Tsuchikage's office to find the three scrolls he'd requested.

Once I arrived at the room, it was swarming with Iwa ANBU; they were everywhere, ready to act if I did anything.

Onoki was the same, his chakra coursing nonstop, ready to act if I made a move.

"I can't believe you're just standing in this office like nothing's wrong," the old man complained as he tried to straighten his back. I had offered to try and fix her problem with my medical ninjutsu, but she refused.

"I think they treat me with a lot of prejudice; we were at war, both in this one and the last; anyone would have done the same," I defended myself against what I had done to the Iwa ninjas since I had never faced one in times of peace.

Onoki glared at me, turning to face me.

"I saw what you did to my men; to all of them, you're a sadist who enjoys making others suffer, with surgical techniques and skill to inflict harm without killing your victims, leaving them with permanent psychological damage," she reprimanded.

"I'm guilty of the charges, but I didn't do it for fun; I only did it to get information. You know what I do for fun? Invading ninja military villages," I said, making him open his eyes, but before he could make a move, I had already acted. "Genjutsu: Infinite Darkness Technique."

With that, both Onoki and his cronies were plunged into total darkness, unable to see.

"Element—" I couldn't finish, Onoki, as I punched him in the torso, sending him flying away from the Tsuchikage Tower and creating an explosion in his office.

At this, everyone nearby froze as panic began to spread.

"The Tsuchikage Tower has been attacked."

"We are under attack."

"Maximum alternate: We must defend our Tsuchikage."

Civilians and ninjas alike were talking and running around the area.

At that moment, I leaped from the tower, landing on a ninja and killing him instantly.

Everyone around me froze.

"Everyone's so noisy," I said, biting my finger with both hands and patting the ground.

Four summoning seals appeared, and four coffin-shaped boxes emerged, opening one by one.

There was a rather old ninja among those near me, and when he saw who was inside the boxes, he nearly had a heart attack.

In one coffin was a man with blue hair using spatial spirit ninjutsu, a woman with red hair, a serious-looking man with white hair and three red stripes on his face, and finally, a dark-haired man with long hair, dressed in clothing from the Warring States period.

"I brought some toys for the ninjas of Iwa to keep them entertained while I steal all their ninjutsu and important papers," I said gleefully. "Summoning: Reincarnation of the Impure World"
