Chapter 38 - Chapter 38

After reviewing the invoices and some important documents, I checked how much money Tsunade took; it was a total of 10 million ryo.

When she gets back, I'm going to make her work like crazy, whether it's as a doctor or even as a lady's companion; I don't care at this point. She's going to suffer the consequences of doing nothing and, on top of that, stealing money.

The training trip she wanted with Shizune. Ha, she's out of her mind; I'm going to chain her up with tasks and work.

After deciding to use the rest of the money to distribute it among different areas of the clan's work, I went to ask someone I trust, a shinobi from the Chinoiken clan, along with Numbers 2 and 5, to retrieve some more money from one of the bases I have hidden in the Land of Fire.

Since I'm constantly moving money around, both receiving it and spending it, I always have hidden places with stashed/saved cash.

Now, with what Tsunade did, I have to get funds from those places; You'll probably be without money in the clan for two days, but there's not much you can do about it.

While I was doing all that, Kushina was filling me in on everything that had happened in the last seven days. Nothing important, just the Tsunade thing.

She also tried to explain what she did with my genin team while I was gone, but I interrupted her immediately. I want to find all that out on my own.

I already had something planned for those brats.

...

The S-rank mission brought with it an S-rank reward. Although the money was split among the four of us, each of us took home a hefty sum.

Before, when I had money, I used my earnings for the clan, for the budget and expenses that might increase or in case of an emergency.

But thanks to my efforts, I have money to spare, but everything I earn that way goes to the clan, which is growing more and more, with a new Kekken Kengai, dividing the clan into a civilian side and a ninja side, Uchiha style, but without the racism involved; everything was going well.

So the money I had earned on the mission I could use for myself.

And what better way than to spend it all at a brothel?

If you ask me, it was this or gambling, and if I was going to lose all the money, I might as well make an appearance with the best women available in the palm of my hand.

Right now I had two women on each arm laughing at my stories; I didn't know if they were real or not, but I didn't care.

"Miss Miyu, please excuse my delay; what can I offer you?" said the lady, the owner of this brothel, the same one where Daiki was raised.

"Bring me the most virginal one you have. I have plenty of money to spend," I said, throwing money into the air, making the women beside me spin around in celebration, holding alcoholic drinks.

It was 9:00 a.m., quite early; Kushina had told me she had gathered my genin team at 8:00 a.m. Since I had already arrived, I should head over there and do Jonin-sensei things.

"No problem, Miss Miyu, follow me," the brothel owner instructed.

Reluctantly, I stopped groping the woman in my arms and followed the owner; the anticipation was killing me.

...

It was already two in the afternoon when I arrived; the three brats I had to look after were still in training ground number 3.

One brat with a somewhat arrogant air, perfect for breaking a leg a bit; that must be Asuma Sarutobi. The only girl in the group must be Kurenai Yuhi. The last brat left must be Raidou.

I saw them very relaxed, socializing; this was already a fully formed group of genin. I had already given Kushina a team test, which they should have passed, but that didn't mean I couldn't give her a small test just to see her abilities.

Without wasting any time, I created a shadow clone, which looked at me and nodded to do its part of the job.

"How's it going, brat? You waited a long time," said the clone, walking calmly over to where they were.

The three brats, who had been standing in circles putting away their things after eating, suddenly stood up to look in my direction.

Before the brats could say anything, I used a hand seal to grip the floor.

The space where the three genin were standing rose up, causing them to lose their balance. My clone took advantage of this to rush towards them and kick Sarutobi.

"Don't freeze," my clone said, throwing several kunai at the two remaining genin.

Raidou managed to react in time, deflecting whatever was coming his way. Kurenai was still in shock from the sudden attack, so she wasn't as quick to react, and one of the kunai hit her directly in the shoulder.

"Damn it, Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu!" Asuma growled, performing his jutsu.

The fireball was about 5 meters in diameter.

"Not bad," my clone said, making a single hand seal with one hand and creating a wall of earth that stopped the fire jutsu.

"What?" the brat said, prompting my clone to hurl the wall of earth at his face, hitting him head-on and sending him flying backward.

I saw Raido near Kurenai, ready to perform a jutsu, which I wasn't going to allow.

Taking advantage of his slowness, I used the Double Decapitating Suicide Jutsu to grab Raidou's feet. Since he was focused on my clone, he didn't notice me, but instead of burying him, I decided to use the only lightning-element jutsu I possessed.

"Lightning Element: Electromagnetic Assassination," I said, using the jutsu at its lowest possible level, electrocuting Raido.

I leaped to the surface and kicked Raido in the ribs, sending him flying, unconscious.

"One down," I announced, and with a blur of speed—something necessary to be able to do any basic training against Minato—I was standing in front of Kurenai.

She was panicking; she tried to form hand seals, but in the middle of it, I was already charging my fingers straight for her forehead, and with a swift blow, I sent her flying backward, knocking her unconscious.

"Two down," I said, watching my clone and the monkey's son engage in a taijutsu battle.

The brat's level wasn't bad, but it was to be expected, being the son of the household, that it was a level above the mediocre.

With a blur of speed, I arrived where they were fighting and kicked him in the face, sending him crashing to the ground.

I heard his groan of pain, but this didn't stop him from getting to his feet immediately. The brat is persistent, I won't deny it, but that stems from his ego and his inability to accept that he's getting his ass kicked at this level.

Dispelling the shadow clone, I stood facing him.

"Let's see what the little monkey can do." I said something that enraged him, as all his strategy and consistency vanished, and he charged forward, kunai in hand, intent on killing me.

I just sighed; I must teach this brat a lesson.

Forming a sword—which isn't really a sword, more of a rapier—I lunged at him head-on.

When he tried to stab me, I dodged his attack to get into position, and with a swift movement, I plunged the sword into his chest, piercing his body.

Asuma watched in shock, seeing the ice sword pierce him, the fear in his eyes real. That's what I wanted, for him to see the consequences of his arrogance.

"Game over," and with that, I quickly knocked him out, took his sword, and began healing him. As long as he wasn't dead, I could heal any wound.

Once I finished with Asuma, I started healing Kurenai and Raido, then tied all three of them to the trees.

Taking advantage of the moment, I took out the documents I had to read and began to get ahead on my duties as clan leader.

The first to wake up was Kurenai; when she tried to say something, he interrupted her with the following phrase:

"I'll answer you when all your companions wake up, so I don't have to repeat myself." That silenced her, and she had no choice but to wait for Raidou and Asuma to wake up.

The next to wake up was Raido; I had to repeat the same thing to him, which made him groan silently.

The last to react was Asuma, who, as soon as he woke up, panicked, looking all around, especially at his stomach; I saw the blood on his clothes and the hole in them, but I didn't see any wound and didn't feel any pain.

"Well," I said, creating a clone, which took the documents to my office. "First of all, introductions: I'm Miyu Senju, clan leader, good at everything, and genetically superior to everyone else, scientifically proven. Nice to meet you."

My introduction left the three genin tied to a tree speechless.

"Now, introduce yourselves, state your names, what you're good at, what you're bad at, and your ambitions." No one said anything.

"You come here, you attack us, you almost killed us—I think you even killed me—and now you're acting like you're our friend, asking for our information as if nothing happened," Sarutobi said, sounding angry, but it was clear that beneath his anger lay a great fear, as his voice was quite low.

"Exactly, in case you didn't know, I'm your jōnin-sensei. I was just on an S-rank mission and had to ask Kushina to relieve me so as not to delay the others too much," I explained, making that perfectly clear. "Second, if you don't tell me anything I ask, you'll force me to gather information myself, infiltrating your homes and following you when no one is looking to uncover your deepest and darkest secrets."

That sent a shiver down the spines of the three of them. What they don't know is that even if they tell me what I'm asking, I'm still going to do it.

"I'll go first. My name is Asuma Sarutobi. I like fire-style ninjutsu, I don't like geniuses, and my ambition is to become a ninja greater than the Hokage," the little monkey said with great aspiration.

He's quite cheerful, normal for a child; he's rather arrogant for being the Hokage's son but also resentful of this very fact, or rather, of his father, who's always in his office spying on women with his crystal ball. All this show of arrogance and superiority must be for two reasons: first, it's a cover or a mask, and second, because of the girl next to him, he's trying to impress her. I think it worked, since he even got her pregnant; we'll see what time tells us.

"Next, I'm Raido Namiashi. I like swords, I dislike chaos, and my ambition is to become a great ninja for my family," said the quiet, brown-haired brat.

This character seems familiar; I think he's the one with the scar on his cheek that starts at his nose. I wonder how he got it. And if it is him, he's also one of the future Hokage's bodyguards, so this guy isn't just some nobody.

I fixed my snotty gaze on her, genin.

"My name is Kurenai Yuhi. I like genjutsu and grilled octopus; I dislike cake, and my ambition is to become the number one genjutsu user in the village," she said enthusiastically.

"Sadly, I'm not going to let you become that," I told the girl, making her eyes widen in shock.

"Hey, what's wrong with you?" I heard the little monkey scold, but I quickly put my hand up, stopping him in his tracks.

"Sorry, I misspoke. I'm not saying you should become the number one genjutsu user, but I'm not going to let you become a one-trick pony." The brat was about to speak, but I cut her off: "If you specialize only in genjutsu, you'll only be useful for a few things. If someone can overcome your illusions or be immune to them, no matter how elite a jōnin you are, you'll just be a genin again if something like that happens."

At that moment, I stood up and freed the three of them who were tied up with a tree branch.

"What happened earlier was a test to see how you'd react under pressure and with zero preparation. That's why I made you wait so long, to let your guard down. And let me tell you, you've got a long way to go. So, for the rest of the day, we're going to train hard. And don't worry if you break a bone and start bleeding somewhere; I'm a very good medical ninja, so you can keep going until you can't anymore." My motivational speech, for some reason, had the opposite effect, but I ignored them and we began our training.

Once night fell, with the money I had left over from the brothel, I carried them to a food stall because they ended up throwing up their lunch.

When I arrived, some people were giving me strange looks. While we were eating, Minato appeared, who was with Kushina.

It turns out someone saw me go to the brothel in the morning and leave at 1:30 p.m.

Upon hearing this, the brats gave me strange looks.

"Didn't you make us wait so we'd let our guard down?" the little monkey said with a hint of resentment.

"I don't know who's spreading these lies, but if you don't shut up, I'm not giving you any food." That made him stop saying anything else.

I'll find out who started this later; for now, I'll play dumb.
