Free Style Running Types:
- Team Relay: Teams must have members race on the same track 4x to win.
- Obstacles: A race where sabotage, and obstacles are frequent.
- Flats: A regular grass or dirt race, but rougher, with blocking and striking being allowed.
- Mixed: A mix of the three races. Most Points: Like Obstacle Relays, Obstacle Relays with flats, Flat/Obstacle combination race, and Team v Team Same time Race with flats/Obstacles/or both.
League: Free Style Racing League: FSRL: This league has many teams, and every tournament has many races, and each race has points and every victory counts. The ones with the most points move on to the international championships. The league has major and minor tournaments around the world for points to qualify as well as a world regional qualifier.
Tournament Grades:
Premier: FSRL World Championship: Where all the hard work the teams did to gather points to qualify for, come together to compete for the world championship. Money up to 5 million and 25% of wagers earned:
Super Major: The tournaments with the most points on the line, double a regular major. (7000 to 10,000 points) (2.5 million and 10% of wagers)
Major: Tournaments with high prize money reaching up to a million dollars or higher, and points reaching up to 3500 to 5000 points.
Super Minor: Tournaments with prize money up to 500,000 to 1 million dollars. With points up to 1,500 to 3500 points.
Minor: Tournaments with prize money up to 250,000 to 500,000 dollars. With points up to 500 to 1500 points.
Opens: Small Tournaments sponsored by FSRL, but no points and prize money up to 100,000 dollars. Also Qualifiers to bigger tournaments.
Non Affiliated: Free Style Tournaments not sponsored by FSRL.
- In a year there is 1 premier tournament, 2 Super Majors, 4 Majors, 4 Super Minors, 8 Minors, 9 Regional Qualifiers, 12 No point Opens. Regions holding the Premier tournament, can't have any majors or super majors, and all tournaments must be split evenly between regions, and any region holding the super majors or premier the year before can't repeat.
- Thanks to Umamusume traditions, if a team tops a tournament they can choose to both close the tournament with a performance, and if they want to open the next event they're in with a concert, but must be scheduled ahead of time.
- Premier is a G0, Super majors to majors are G1, super minors to minors are G2-G3, opens are opens.
Premier: Has every type of race, both types of terrain for each race, and each distance type.
Super Major: limited to 8 races, by race type, distance and terrain decided by organizers, but must feature both terrains and different distances.
Major: limited to 6, and organizers can choose the race types of each, the distance and the terrain, but must feature both terrains.
Super Minor: limited to 4 organizer chosen races, where race type, distance, and terrain are picked by them, but different distances for all races.
Minor: Can only have 4 races, and each have to be different types, from each other, a set terrain for the entire tournament, but distances are still decided by organizers.
Qualifier: All 4 races, terrain is halved, and all 4 races must have different distances.
Open: 1 to 2 races, but each have to be different terrains, and has to have a decided race and distance.
Non Affiliated: Not the league's problem.
