It was nighttime. As always, Itachi had finished everything that needed to be done and was lying on the couch in the living room, staring at the black box in his hands. This box didn't seem ordinary, it had slightly sharp edges, strange obsidian-colored patterns, and its interior glowed faintly.
"Just guide a little bit of your consciousness into the box, and the transformation into a special demon will begin."
Itachi recalled Sirzechs' words when he gave him the box. Still, Itachi hesitated, he was seriously thinking about running away and becoming a fugitive in the Underworld, but Rias Gremory's words had made him reflect.
"Sirzechs Lucifer, huh?" Itachi muttered, that man was the most powerful being in the Underworld, Rias Gremory's older brother, a true Demon Lord.
Just as Itachi was toying with the small, square black box, Asia Argento came down the stairs, she saw Itachi sitting in the dim light, playing with the strange object, and squinted suspiciously.
"Itachi..." she murmured, the boy slightly turned his head to look at her, their eyes met. She smiled, took several quick steps forward, and threw herself onto the couch beside him.
"I..." Asia hesitated, her eyes narrowed, she felt Itachi's body against hers, blinked several times, and finally sighed, "Why aren't you in bed? Why have you been so distracted since those strange people visited us?" she asked.
Itachi didn't respond, one hand gently stroked Asia's head while the other placed the black box on a nearby table.
"You're hiding something from me, Itachi," Asia whispered, pressing one side of her face against his chest, her voice was soft and sad, laced with a hint of resentment.
Still, he didn't reply, yet she didn't get angry, she simply stayed there, hugging him for a few minutes, the only light came from the moon shining through the open window.
"Itachi..." Asia said again after a while, she raised her head to see his calm face, narrowed her eyes, and sighed with a touch of resignation, "I heard an 'I accept' that day, I don't know why, but I feel like that word meant something bad, What happened?" she asked.
"Well..." He paused, gently stroking Asia's head, she closed her eyes, leaning her head into his palm, Itachi couldn't help but touch her soft, naturally red lips.
"You really look like Izumi..." Itachi thought, Izumi's image overlapped with Asia's—but when he really thought about it, Asia looked nothing like Izumi.
"Powerful people from the Underworld came..." he began to explain what had happened, omitting the part where he asked for Serafall's hand in marriage. The girl nodded repeatedly, squinting and reacting as she listened.
At the end, after a few minutes, Asia sighed in relief. "So that's all?" she smiled, but then she puffed her cheeks and gave Itachi's chest a playful smack, "Do you think I'm dumb?"
Asia leaned in closer to Itachi's face, "There's something different about you, you didn't tell me what that 'I accept' meant, you didn't tell me the whole story, Itachi..." her eyes sparkled, her body trembled slightly, and her mind worked hard to piece together the truth.
Itachi stared at her for a moment, those shining eyes, her slightly pale complexion, his mind searched for a way to tell Asia about his engagement to Serafall.
No matter how much he thought about it, he couldn't find a way to explain it, then he narrowed his eyes and recalled his past life, how he had created an illusion to give Izumi a happy life and ending.
His eyes began to glow a bright red, and soon the Sharingan appeared, but not just the Sharingan, his eyes started spinning, and eventually, the Mangekyō Sharingan formed its unique pattern.
Asia's surprised face appeared immediately, she looked into Itachi's eyes and smiled strangely, "What beautiful eyes..." she said, reaching out to gently touch his right cheek, smiling brightly, "I'd love for my children to have eyes like yours, Itachi..."
There was a moment of silence.
Itachi stopped, his chakra ceased flowing to his eyes, instead, he simply observed Asia's lovely face, her smooth, fair skin, her shining eyes, her genuine smile.
"I see," he murmured, letting out a light sigh and shaking his head, then he thought again and realized he didn't have much experience with human relationships—or romantic ones.
Everything he knew came from books and secondhand experiences. Kisame once told him a beautiful woman was interested in him, so Kisame killed her to complete a mission.
Obito, the true leader of Akatsuki, once loved a real woman, he lost her and became a true villain, the same happened with Pain.
Many memories crossed Itachi's mind—none of them ended happily, then he thought of Sasuke and Orochimaru's words: "Sasuke had a family with Sakura," Those words from that snake made him genuinely happy that day.
"There is no Konoha here, and Sasuke has a family now, right?" Itachi murmured softly, then he reached out and caressed Asia's cheek.
"I've known men who condemned the world to hell over a single woman, I'm not that kind of man, but even so..." Itachi smiled. His right hand touched the back of Asia's neck, gently pulling her toward him.
Asia felt Itachi's intention, a complete and overwhelming sweetness spread from her body to her heart, her eyes filled with an unprecedented love.
"Itachi... the man who saved my life," she thought. She moved and beat him to it, both of them pressed their lips together, fitting perfectly like puzzle pieces in an empty world.
Asia's lips, soft, warm, with just the right fullness, gently brushed against Itachi's. They lost themselves in a slow kiss that seemed endless.
...
The Next Morning...
Itachi woke up in his bed, Asia was sleeping beside him, hugging him tightly, he smiled, this girl had really surprised him yesterday.
"You really don't mind sharing me, huh?" Itachi murmured, stroking her head and remembering how he'd told her about his engagement to Serafall.
He explained the misunderstanding the last night, but Asia simply smiled, shook her head, and said, "I don't care, as long as you give me enough love and attention," before continuing to kiss him.
Even though nothing physical happened between them, just kisses and caresses, it was enough to tire Asia out so much that she didn't wake up until well after the sun was up.
