Andria's POV
I swallowed. I had to tell her about the date with Sir Kaelric, but I wondered if this was a good time.
Either way, it would be great if I told her beforehand. What time would be better than now?
I woke up in the morning feeling a little bit different and healthier. No school bells, no Becca's voice, a softer bed and no thoughts of running into the wrong students.
And for the first time in a long time, I felt genuinely happy.
I moved out of my room in search of Lady Eskareth. She sat by the fireplace, a book in one hand and a glass in the other. "Good morning, the chosen one," she called out as soon as I approached her.
"Good morning, ma," I answered, coming to sit beside her and staring into the fire to know if I could tell what she was seeing in the fire.
"You would be going out to see the prince today?" she asked.
"Yes, today, ma. But later today. So for now, what can I help you with?" I asked.
