He looked at me with a grave expression. "Trust me. If you stay here, you're making yourself a target."
He sounded serious; whatever the case, it might be serious or his usual scheme, I just have to find out.
I looked at Becca, who was grinning from ear to ear and Arlo, who was placing the posters, getting ready to dispatch
"If it's so important, then you have to go, Aria," Arlo said, waving his hands dismissively.
"We will help you with hanging the remaining posters. I'm in charge. Remember?" Becca tilted her head playfully, already snatching the remaining posters from my hand.
"So what's the urgency, all about, and why am I a target?" I asked. I was curious about what he said earlier.
"You know, contesting for elections in Ashwood Academy most times is dangerous, especially when you have contenders like Tracy," he spoke in a firm, almost controlling manner.
