His speed was good enough to dodge every attack from those statues, but whenever he tried to attack, his attack wasn't doing any damage to them.

His sword struck their legs with an intense force, but it could barely scratch them.
And, at this moment, Tyler had started using the lightning energy for destruction.
He wasn't using the elemental arts that he possessed. Nor was he using the new elemental arts.
He was just basically swinging his sword after infusing lightning energy within it.
Lightning Energy and Sword Essence hadn't merged yet, but they slowly started to work.
Tyler rushed back and once again dashed forward. His sword swung once more and struck the leg.
This time, he managed to crack a little bit more. But it wasn't enough.
He kicked the ground and jumped. His body hovered behind the statue, and his sword struck faster.
