Quickly I sat up in bed and looked away from Lilly, trying my best to avoid everything that just happened. "I just woke up and happened to be looking that way." I manage to say as I feel my cheeks getting hotter.
I believe I'm blushing as well now... I didn't think she was awake yet which makes this even more awkward.
"I-I'm mad... Just ask next time or something..." She replies with a bit of an embarrassed tone.
"Sorry. I'll do that next time." I apologize genuinely.
"Yawnnn. You two seem to be having a good morning." Ghost says after yawning.
I get out of bed and head over to the window to look outside. "It has been a good morning I guess. We have a lot to figure out today." I reply while trying to keep a calm tone.
Avoiding the potential war is still a priority to me, even if Seraphine told me to focus on getting stronger. I can get stronger and worry about stopping a war from happening.
