Looking up towards the sky I can see a bright white light beaming down, lighting up the area around us. This only proves that Rika is right and it's time for me to get back to the fight.
"You're right. I am powerful, I just lack the knowledge of how to use the power to it's full extent." I say while looking back down at my hands.
She'll be back in my head like usual after I wake up in a few seconds. Is this really the only time I'll ever see her?
Only when we are in this abyss?
"Shall we show him how bad he messed up? Hehe." Rika says with a slight chuckle afterwards.
"Yes, let's show him." I respond with confidence.
I reopen my eyes to the sight of the dark abyss of the tower floor and I can feel the pain slowly dissipating in my chest. My wound was healing and I could feel my heart beating once again.
It felt as if I never left the abyss at first but then I remember that the feeling is nowhere near the same. Just the darkness.
