Chapter 7: Return
(After healing the Snow Leopard, he slowly opened his eyes and looked at me.
"Kid... where did you go—wait a second…"
His eyes widened.
"Dragon… he's destroying everything!"
"Damn it!"
The Snow Leopard shifted back into his beast form.
Without hesitation, he let me ride on his back.
We dashed forward with unbelievable speed, racing across a path of frost and ice that formed beneath his paws.
"Freeze!!"
The dragon was instantly encased in ice—but its flames continued to ravage the surroundings.
Huge icicles spread across the city, desperately trying to contain the destruction.
Then… they began to melt.
Rain fell. Gradually, the flames died out.
"Damn it…" the Snow Leopard muttered as he and I stood atop the frozen dragon.
With a fierce strike, he shattered the layer of ice, revealing the dragon's heart.
Curled up inside… was the Dragon's true body.
"Let's go."
A portal opened beneath our feet.
And just like that…
we were home again.)
