Chapter 18 - Ch: 16

Hello everyone, this is Gon Freecss, now transformed into a human atronic. For Ging, I'm a human massage machine.

The dormant volcano Kukuru Mountain, owned by the Zoldyck family of assassins.

Gon and his group, aiming to rescue Killua, boarded an airship bound for the Republic of Padokia on the very day the Hunter Exam ended. They planned to arrive in Padokia without delay, but with the clash against the Phantom Troupe scheduled for September, there was no time to waste.

"So, there's something I need you two to prioritize above all else. What is it? Come on, Leorio, answer."

"Huh? Isn't it Nen ability? The enemy consists entirely of Nen users, so we can't even begin without it, right?"

While training in a private room on the airship, Gon suddenly poses the question. Leorio answers confidently that it's Nen ability.

"Wrong. While Nen abilities are necessary, there's something even more important. Alright, Kurapika, your turn."

"Hmm, if it's not Nen abilities, then... Ah, I see. It's information about the Spiders, right? I've heard that those who control information control the battle. Since there's a traitor among us, having information will give us an advantage in the information war!"

When Kurapika is asked the same question, he answers confidently, taking Leorio's response into account.

"That's even worse than Leorio's answer. You could have crammed for that on August 31st."

"Worse than Leorio..."

"What the hell does that mean?"

Dissatisfied with their answers, Gon sighs deeply and fixes his gaze on Hisoka, the strongest person present, with high expectations.

"Hmm, from my perspective, they need physical ability. In Gon's terms, they lack muscle."

"Spot on! You two need to build at least the minimum amount of muscle first."

Gon declares this loudly, but Leorio and Kurapika look slightly confused and ask for further explanation.

"To put it another way, you two are like skinny amateurs trying to challenge a boxing champion. If you're aiming for a quick victory in a short period of time, you need to focus on building your body before honing your skills."

Kurapika nods in agreement, but Leorio remains unconvinced.

"I've been training pretty hard, but muscle training is still the top priority? Gon's physical ability is heavily influenced by his Nen, right?"

In response to Leorio's question, Gon picks up Ging, who was standing beside him, with one hand and hands him to Leorio.

"As you can see, I'm injured and not at full strength, but can you lift Ging?"

Gon effortlessly holds Ging with one hand, and Leorio tries to take him, but he can't even support him and drops him.

"What the hell is this?! He's unbelievably heavy!"

"Ging is just shrunk down by his ability, but his weight remains the same as during the exam. You can't fight the Phantom Troupe if you can't even lift Ging."

Leorio tries again with both hands, but Ging doesn't budge, causing Kurapika to widen his eyes and ask.

"How much does Ging weigh?"

"I've never measured it, but I think it's probably close to 500 kilograms."

As the two of them fall speechless at the unexpected weight, Gon says seriously,

"Of course, this can't be generalized, but this is the world of Nen users. Well, I can't deny that I prioritize physical strength over others."

Once again, Gon lifts Ging with one hand and tosses him toward Hisoka, who catches him effortlessly with one hand.

"It's hard to do regular workouts on an airship, but I plan to use my Nen abilities for intensive training. I said I wouldn't teach you during the exam, but wasting time would be a shame."

He tells Kurapika and Leorio to lie down on the bed, then activates his ability while touching their bodies.

"The ability's name is... I think you'll faint, but try your best to endure it."

"What? That's so painful!"

"Gwaa!?"

Suddenly, their bodies convulse at high speed, and they let out short screams before losing consciousness.

While Gon continues massaging their muscles with his ability, Hisoka, who is being scratched by Ging and bleeding from his face, voices his confusion.

"That ability works on others too, huh? I thought you said you'd given up on projecting it, so I assumed it only worked on yourself."

"It doesn't activate unless I touch them, and I can only output a level that affects amateurs. Even against Hisoka, or even Killua, massage is the limit."

Gon finishes relaxing the muscles that had been overused in an instant and forces himself to drink the ultra-high-protein liquid that Ging had compressed for him.

While soothing Ging, who is protesting about being thrown at Hisoka, Gon continues his full-body muscle training using muscle communication.

"That usage makes it a pretty convenient ability. I thought your physical abilities were already quite high, but this makes sense."

Full-body load training achieved by simultaneously contracting all the muscles in the body, something impossible for an ordinary person. Furthermore, it allows for targeted muscle training and can even balance the strength of both sides of the body.

Hisoka initially thought it was a combat ability, but seeing this, he begins to suspect it might have been created for training purposes.

"Actually, once I tried making it, I found it could do a lot more than I expected. It's a pretty good ability, if I do say so myself."

"Sometime, give me a massage too ♥ Anyway, maybe it's time to challenge the other three advanced techniques besides Ten."

"Do you think so too, Hisoka? Both of them are improving quickly, so maybe we can move things up a bit."

After that, Gon and Hisoka continue discussing their future training plans, and their night together stretches on for hours.

"Cough, cough, hey, stop using that Ten! It's not doing any damage and it's not even torture!!"

In the dimly lit stone torture chamber of the Zoldyck family, Killua, suspended from the ceiling by chains, maintains his Ten while falling into a deep sleep.

"Get up! What's wrong with you? Are you reflecting on your actions or not?"

Milluki, the second son of the Zoldyck family, whips Killua with all his might, but the only damage he can inflict is a faint red mark.

Enraged, he swings the whip even harder, eventually turning on the electric current, but Killua remains unconscious.

"Damn it, who taught Kill the power of Nen? If I get caught, father will scold me. I'm the one who was stabbed in the stomach!"

Milluki, whose abdomen had already healed thanks to his thick layer of fat, strokes his belly and makes his way to the room where the butler is waiting to serve him his second midnight snack of the day.
