The moment Uchiha Chizumi's blazing, magma-charged right arm rocketed forward, it instantly expanded into a gigantic, over-the-top molten fist.

To the eyes of the stunned Shimura clan shinobi, that crimson magma fist was absurdly massive—easily dozens of times bigger than all of them combined.

It was like a burning red furnace the size of a house crashing down from the sky.

The pressure and heat were so intense, it felt like their lungs were being crushed. A terrifying realization hit them all at once: if that punch landed, the entire Shimura compound would be wiped out in an instant. Everyone would die.

That fear kicked their survival instincts into overdrive. They moved fast, forming hand seals simultaneously, unleashing their strongest Wind Style techniques.

"Wind Style: Great Vacuum Sphere!!"

"Wind Style: Vacuum Serial Waves!!"

"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!!"

"Wind Style—!"

A barrage of Wind Jutsu flew out, showing just how skilled and deep-rooted the Shimura clan's wind-style tradition really was.

Howling gales, slicing wind blades, and roaring wind bullets collided with Chizumi's magma fist in a spectacular clash.

BOOM!

The face of the magma fist was pounded with deep craters and bottomless holes. When a massive wind orb slammed into it, it looked like a meteor crashing into a lava pool—magma splashed everywhere.

But they'd clearly overestimated themselves… and underestimated Uchiha Chizumi, who had spent the past few months tearing through the criminal underworld like a force of nature.

That punch—carrying the raw force of a volcanic eruption—smashed through all their Wind Jutsu in an instant.

Worse, the Wind Jutsu only caused the magma to explode in every direction—turning molten lava into deadly shrapnel.

One unlucky Shimura youth got hit by a magma glob the size of a fist—it landed square on his shoulder.

In that moment, he lost all feeling in his left arm.

He turned to look—his face twisted in horror.

His arm was on the ground.

The magma had literally melted through his shoulder like it was chewing gum. His whole left joint was gone—completely erased.

"AAAAAARGH!"

The pain was so intense he couldn't help but scream.

More magma sprayed through the air, landing on buildings and igniting them instantly. In just seconds, most of the Shimura compound was engulfed in a roaring inferno.

But the magma fist didn't stop.

Several clan members and even a summoned beast failed to escape in time and were swallowed whole—gone before they could even scream.

Shimura Joya, dragging his aging body, retreated with the last of the elite guards.

The magma fist came to a halt—barely a meter from his face.

They were just starting to breathe again when—

The fist began to glow brighter. Something inside it was about to explode.

It did.

The entire magma fist erupted—like a volcano going off—splintering into countless magma bombs that shot out in every direction.

Each one was bigger than a grown man.

BOOM!

One smashed into an empty courtyard, carving a crater meters wide, molten lava searing the earth.

BOOM!

Another hit a three-story building. The whole thing collapsed into flames.

BOOM!

One hit a Shimura elite directly. His body was wiped out on contact—evaporated.

BOOM!

BOOM!

Each magma blast left total destruction in its wake. The sky lit up like daylight over half of Konoha. The noise and fire caught the attention of every shinobi in the village.

"It's too late…" Sarutobi Hiruzen muttered from the Uchiha district, watching the explosions light up the night sky. His weathered face showed helplessness and sorrow.

He had seen Chizumi's Lava Release plenty of times.

And he knew—from this scale alone—there might not be any survivors in the Shimura clan.

Well, maybe a few. If Chizumi saw any of them as innocent.

But that was the problem.

After years of being molded by Danzo's secret ops, did any truly "innocent" Shimura even exist?

Hiruzen felt a pang of guilt. Danzo's Root division had existed with his tacit approval. He bore part of the blame for what the Shimura had become.

"…Chizumi's Lava Release is terrifying," Uchiha Fugaku said, looking conflicted. He suddenly remembered Uchiha Setsuna had played a role in all this.

Setsuna had claimed he never meant harm to Chizumi—he just "accidentally" leaked some sensitive intel. He wasn't even sure if the info was true.

Whatever the Shimura did with that info, he said, wasn't his problem.

But from Chizumi's point of view… did that kind of excuse matter?

Explaining it as "an accident" just made him look even more guilty.

Fugaku's expression turned grim.

As clan head, he might be able to stop Setsuna.

But stop Chizumi?

Not even the Hokage could do that.

"In all of Uchiha, in all of Konoha—no one can stop that radical kid?"

Uchiha Setsuna was watching the sky too.

The magma bombs looked like twisted fireworks. Beautiful, yes—but they made his whole body go cold. His palms were soaked in sweat.

He gritted his teeth. He could feel it—the threat. Like his life wasn't his own anymore.

Chizumi had a record. And he never hesitated, even with fellow Uchiha.

"Damn it!"

His composure finally cracked.

His gut told him: After the Shimura, you're next.

No—he was already marked.

Chizumi just hadn't struck yet because Setsuna was always surrounded by other Uchiha radicals.

Maybe Chizumi wasn't sure he could take him down cleanly. So he waited.

That realization hit hard.

"I've been a lamb waiting to be slaughtered this whole time…"

Setsuna's jaw clenched so hard, it felt like his teeth would break.

Meanwhile, back in the compound—

Shimura Joya dodged another magma bomb, shaking all over.

Was it rage? Fear? Both?

His cloudy eyes locked on Chizumi, standing unscathed amid the lava like a living nightmare—like the Nine-Tails all over again.

In Joya's eyes, this destruction was no different than what happened during the Nine-Tails attack.

Chizumi was a walking tailed beast.

Watching his clan burn, hearing the screams of his people, Joya struggled to breathe in the sulfur-choked air. His lungs were on fire.

"Uchiha Chizumi! For the sake of Konoha… I'm going to kill you, you self-righteous monster!"

His old face twisted into madness.

He tore off his shirt, revealing cursed markings scrawled across his body.

"You're coming to the grave with us!"

He roared, weaving through the fire, charging straight at Chizumi.

"Ninja Art… Reverse Four Symbols Sealing!"

The sealing jutsu activated instantly. Blood burst from tiny cuts all over his body, drawing a massive seal on the ground.

In a flash, the seal expanded into a giant sphere, dragging everything inside it into the underworld.

When the sphere vanished—Joya was gone. Nothing remained.

One young Shimura, missing an arm but miraculously alive, stared at the empty space where the sphere had exploded.

Everything there was gone—even the lava.

"Elder Joya…" the boy choked out. "He… he killed that evil Uchiha… Chizumi is finally…"

He never finished.

His voice died in his throat.

Because walking through the heat shimmer—Chizumi appeared. Unharmed. Alive.

The seal had failed.

He wasn't sealed at all!

The boy's heart sank.

Is this guy… invincible!?

His legs gave out. He collapsed to the ground.

Chizumi kept walking.

The air grew so hot, the boy's hair curled. His skin felt like it was boiling.

"Shimura Harujima," Chizumi's voice rang out like a death sentence. "Three years ago, you killed three civilians while testing a jutsu. Tonight, you helped plan my assassination."

"Verdict: Red Level Villain."

Harujima's eyes went wide.

Before he could speak, a flood of magma crashed down on him, wiping him out in an instant.

The lava kept surging, destroying the last intact buildings.

By morning, the entire Shimura compound had been reduced to a lake of molten fire.

The glow lit up the entire night sky.

The Shimura clan… was gone.

When Sarutobi, Fugaku, and the others finally arrived, all that remained was lava and the suffocating stench of smoke.

Even Koharu, Homura, and others who had demanded Hiruzen confront Chizumi had gathered outside.

The Hyūga, Nara, Inuzuka clans—none of them directly involved—came to see what had happened.

Everyone stood in silence, staring at what used to be the Shimura estate.

The red glow reflected off their stunned faces.

Nara Shikaku, hands in pockets, chewing a toothpick, broke the silence.

"Well… I think we all understand Chizumi's so-called 'Absolute Justice' a bit more now. Every move he makes leaves an impression. But you're really sure he's never killed an innocent?"

Yamanaka Inoichi replied slowly, "Chizumi never kills the innocent. Every body I've examined—every single one—belonged to someone vile. Their memories… just thinking about them gives me chills."

He paused.

"And besides… do you really think there were any innocents left in the Shimura clan?"

"…Yeah," Shikaku muttered. "Good point."

"Hiruzen, what the hell happened here?" Koharu tried to stay calm, staring down Hiruzen. "You knew this was coming, didn't you?"

Hiruzen gazed silently at a dead Shimura shinobi nearby.

After a long pause, he spoke. "They tried to assassinate Chizumi. Set up bombs in the Uchiha district. Nearly killed innocent civilians."

Koharu understood instantly.

The Shimura brought this on themselves. And not in a way anyone could defend.

Still, she muttered, "He could've just taken out the ringleader. An entire clan… the consequences of this are huge. Hiruzen, how do you expect the other clans to react?"

Hiruzen replied, "The non-kekkei genkai clans might be uneasy. But the bloodline clans…"

He didn't finish.

But Koharu got it. Danzo's illegal experiments had made the Shimura enemies of the bloodline clans. They probably welcomed the purge.

At the very least, they wouldn't protest what Chizumi had done.

Koharu went quiet—but her anger didn't fade. The Shimura weren't the only ones who died tonight. Two young shinobi from her own clan were killed by Chizumi too.

Nearby, Homura finally asked, "Hiruzen, the people Chizumi killed before wiping out the Shimura—including my cousin—did they actually do something?"

Hiruzen sighed. "Kakashi, you explain."

"Yes, Hokage-sama."

Kakashi, voice flat as ever, said, "The people Chizumi killed earlier this evening were all involved in smuggling and selling banned substances in Konoha. Their bodies are being examined by the Yamanaka clan. The evidence will be clear soon."

Koharu opened her mouth to argue—but stopped. The mention of the Yamanaka clan shut her down.

She didn't want to believe her people were guilty.

But what if they were?

"He should've arrested them. Interrogated them. Let the law deal with it," she muttered. "Not just… execute them like that."
