Chapter 7 - Chpt. 7 - I Know.

[Jakga's Pov]

I now know the timeline. From my knowledge gained eavesdropping, I've concluded that it's approximately 2 month until D-day— the day Manwol is destroyed, and 1 week until Jimmy joins the union.

"So I have about a few weeks of building reputation left..."

If you're wondering, yes I wanted to be a legend, someone with a backstory and such. All for the good of being held up as a named thug of the streets, though at the start it led me to a weird nickname.

Anyway, I'm currently beating up another young wannabe thug— he was boasting his gold chain and spitting next to vendor stands along with his snot nosed friends, but now he's being used as my punching bag with his friends holding him up.

*BAM, BAM!

"Aghk!" he was tearing up, missing a few teeth, had a busted lip, a black eye and blood dripping from his nose, and with a wheeze he dropped to the ground.

My fist was left hanging up in the air, "You... I didn't even landed my 20th punch yet." I turned to his friends who were also beaten up, though not so much.

They flinched before running to their friend, picking him up and holding him still as I wound up my fist.

*POW!

The three of them stumbled back when my land hit, "Listen here, these streets may have been taken over for some rich brats but you ain't them." their eyes were locked on the ground, not daring to look a me.

"Now, give me all your money and scram."

With hurried movements they handed me their wallets which I took, grabbed the money from inside, and threw the wallets away. "Viou Latoun? This place has some weird brands..." after counting it I left the alley and went back to guard a specific bar— which was of course, had a close connection with Phillip.

The place had bright neon lights, have private rooms with karaoke machines along with the service of girls and waiters for delivering drinks— so like a moth to a flame, many young brats want to enter.

However they needed to be invited by Phillip himself, if not then my fist meets their face before they could even step out of the club.

You might be asking "why beat the kids up when they weren't invited instead of letting them leave?" well that's because it was Phillip's idea. To keep his image as a boss of a very powerful dog (aka: me), he told me to teach them a lesson they'd never forget.

It's quite embarrassing, being told what to do. But hey 100,000 won per hour, plus 60,000 whenever I beat someone trespassing? I'll do this for as long as Phillip throws me his money!

Though that only applies to the brats but not so much for the grown-ups who actually are legal to enter.

And to be truthful, It's not that bad since not much brats try to trespass or take over any more.

Plus, in the day I sleep at school. It's actually nice for a change that no one wants to mess with me, but that doesn't mean I'm oblivious to things unlike last night at the meeting.

Today at school I heard that Seongjin and his boys finally jumped Donghae baek yesterday at night but both sides were pretty banged up, so it was a tie for them.

Three confusing topics at first but now I know what's going on, "The Mok-ha Duo are second years unlike Seongjin who is a 3rd year. But in two months they're going to be moving up... I too will be a third year in two months then afterwards it's going to be another quick few months of before moving up again but to high school." I blabbered my logical theory.

[3rd Pov]

Seoul 2000s. The land was unlike the popular city it is from Kim's universe. Here, it was currently mostly uncontrolled and rowdy with all it's corruption and exploitations.

With branded businesses booming from working with schools, others wanted to jump in as well however they too weren't able to do anything because they didn't know what these young people wanted.

That was until they met with the Union.

Seoul is ever changing, and within a year the Union rose from the streets then into something more financial, proving their profits and use to the crude world of money hungry corporations, they soon became a topic of interest.

And with the perk of intimidation, many were willing to collaborate with these kids but they were still cautious, and so a few took the chance to collaborate and partner with the Union just to test waters m. Things changed, they got more profit from just partnering and doing things to fit the current world of teens all thanks to doing one kid's plan and directions.

That's how things went on, and that's why many thugs wanted in with the Union, through the Foundings but there was a problem and that was Manwol,

These other thugs had also been in business as well, using strength and intimidation to pressure companies that opposed their own partner businesses. Making them also a profit gaining group of delinquents like the Union.

So that's when two big forces created a big problem for both delinquents and companies on the other side of the river, they simply can't choose.

And so a war broke out amidst the lights and flashes in the other side of Seoul; Union vs Manwol, Strong Newcomers vs Veteran thugs.

Things escalated a few times, with a few schools being dragged into the fray but the ones pulling others into it was mostly done by the easily baited Manwol, and a few hated them for it.

Manwol had pride of being the old boys of the streets, looking down on others and using their size and numbers as advantage. This usually drawn out more brawls with other schools instead of the main ones from the Union.

Thus why certain things like the fight between Jimmy and his friends against Manwol a few days ago occurred.

Hayong Jeong was currently walking down the quiet alley, almost empty alley humming while lightly smoking his cigarette but he paused as someone tapped on his back.

"Excuse me, you dropped these." someone's voice calls from behind— a hooded person.

"Huh? Dropped what?" Hayong asked as he turned to face the guy, he was confused at first until he saw that person's grin.

"Your teeth." it was Jimmy Bae.

Quickly recognizing him, Hayong felt that he was being looked down or being messed with, "You little fucking--"

*WHAM!

"Ack!" he barely finished his sentence before a fist hit him onto the side of his face, which broke off a few teeth.

"My... My tooth!" he was shocked and embarrassed but Jimmy's voice rang first before his whining, "Go ahead. Pick them up." he says with another grin.

"You Motherfucker. You think Manwol is a joke?" Hayong asked with a shaky voice, standing up and raising his fists.

Jimmy held himself back from rolling his eyes, "Ugh... Dammit. I don't give a damn if it's Manwol or Manhole, you talk too damn much." he complains in childish manner.

Feeling underestimated again, Hayong went fist first. *Swoosh--

*BAM, POW!

Unfortunately for him Jimmy had a really bad day yesterday and was sick of taking a hit both to his pride and body.

He easily dodged and countered with a fast one-two to Hayong's face, "Sorry but I'm too pissed off to give you free shots, I don't want to take any hits for petty."

"Gragh!" Hayong grunts and swung a wild hit, Jimmy blocked with his forearm and returned with a strong uppercut followed by a left hook to the jaw.

*Woosh-- WHAM, CRACK!

The two hits was devastating to Hayong, with his ears ringing and disoriented, he wasn't able to even see another oncoming hit— an uppercut— *BAM!

And for a solid 2 minutes, it was just a one sided assault of Hayong Jeong— a feared name of the street— getting used like a punching bag.

"Please, urgh... Stop... Aghk.." Hayong muttered through the punches, each words quieter than the last.

When Jimmy finally paused his barrage when he saw him fall down, he breathed deeply for a moment, "Hah... You know, I have to admit, it was tough being outnumbered. But man, did you really get stomped in one on one?" he grins and crouched down next to Hayong.

Grabbing him by the hair and lifting Hayong's head up, Jimmy continued "To be honest I was going to turn you into a bloody pulp, you're nearly there but... Let's just call it a day here."

"If you don't want to embarrass yourself in front of anyone next time, know your damn place. Don't even come back here and act like you're worth shit, Got it?"

Hayong glared weakly and responded with his voice rasp "You're... Going to regret this... Can you handle the consequences? Gilshin isn't even part of the Union--" *BAM, BAM! his words were cut off when he was punched in the face again, twice.

Jimmy grits his teeth in irritation, why? Because talking about the Union and how much he was being compared to them— especially by a pest, it shook his pride with anger.

He remembered the things that crossed him that time; 'Those bastards, I'll make sure all of them regret looking down at me! Especially the Union's boss... and that one motherfucker.'

Jimmy returned his thoughts to the bug in front of him, "You only answer what you're asked for, motherfucker. Why did you have to get on my nerves." with a quick hook, he aimed his punch at Hayong's eye. *WHISH- BAM!

"AAAGH!!"

Hayong could only scream and whine as soon as the hit landed, he could only groan and cry his pain.

"Answer me properly this time. Don't come this way again, Got it?" he asked with a ticked off grin.

Hayong could only look down at the ground and clenched his teeth, "O... Okay."

The next day at evening.

"God dammit!" Jakga kicked the vending machine, his face was exaggerating irritation, "Give me back my money you stupid box! This is the wrong drink!" he grabbed and shook it with his all but stopped when he almost made it fall to the side.

With a grumbling sigh, he walked away with a sour mood and a grumpy face, deciding it was pointless to go forward, so he just walked down into the subway stairs and rode the train to Seocho-gu.

He pulls out his phone and read through the messages (Commissions), "Hah... How did they get my number? Did Phillip sell it or gave it away to other rich brats?." he exhaled, truly his expression was that of exhaustion.

After a few weeks of fighting delinquents since he came to this world, he was very exhausted to the point that his eyes looked like they were relaxed abd tired— it may have been permanent now since sleep couldn't fix it —His once clumsy movements were drastically different compared to now.

"... Kicking... I want to be someone who can intimidate anyone into handing me 500 KWN--" *~Leave your memes on the reddit nineteen year-olds and I'll measure your PP--* Jakga quickly pulled out his phone and answered the call, "This is Young-Jae Kim."

Phillip: "Yo Jakga! Your heading to Seochu for your payment right? I'm not at there right now, come to West Gwangjin, I need your assistance with something. We're taking down Manwol Squad 2 and don't worry about your payment... Blah blah blah."

The voices were soon became muffled and ignored by Jakga who was lost in his thoughts, "I guess it's time for Jimmy to join the union." he spoke in english.

He then returned to Phillip, "Yeah yeah, I'll hurry up and get there." he says before hanging up the call.
