Chapter 43 - Season 5: Stiix and Stones

Nalia is not happy having to fight Morro.

She somehow still have ways to be naive and stupid. XD

____________________________________________________________

*Looking for Ronin for the Scroll of Airjitzu, the ninjas and Nalia arrive on the docks of Stiix.*

"Welcome to Stiix. Watch your step. Oh, I caught one. It's a big fella. Ugh, whoa. Whoa!" The fisherman pulled into the Endless Sea. "Ugh. Dagnabbit."

The ninjas watch as Kai sits down nervously.

"I didn't know you were afraid of heights." said Jay.

"I'm fine with heights. It's water I hate." said Kai glance towards the water.

"Didn't seem to have a problem before." Zane pointed out.

Nalia took a look at the water, seeing her reflection. "Didn't know it was possible to be afraid of water."

The ninja looked at her, raising their eyebrows. But then again, it shouldn't be surprising for Nalia of all people to think that, since she wasn't the.... smartest person at times.

"Before I could make a Fire Dragon at will. Since Morro's taken over Lloyd and our powers gone, I haven't felt—Aagh!" A plank breaks under Kai but Cole pulls him up.

"Well, now that we know ghosts don't like water either, at least we should feel safe surrounded by it." said Cole when taking in their surroundings, since Stiix was mostly a fishing village.

"Ugh, what a dump. You'd think the thief who stole the Scroll of Airjitzu would have better taste." said Jay while walking past some half-broken houses.

"I kind of have to agree with Jay, at least my cave was more... welcoming." said Nalia while ignoring some of the people who were giving them weird looks.

"Uh, this is Ronin we're talking about. He'd steal the sea if it were worth anything. We just have to figure out which rock he's under and get to the Scroll before Morro does." said Cole.

"..." Nalia slowly looked over at Cole when he mentioned Ronin being under a rock, she knew it was just a figure of speech. But it had her think back to how Morro died, being crushed under a rock when trying to protect her.

"D-don't say that." Nalia stuttered, struggling to speak for a moment.

"What?" The ninjas looked over at Nalia, and saw how pale her face had become.

"P-please don't say that again." Nalia's body started shaking as tears were forming in her eyes.

"What part?" Cole asked concerned with what had made her get all emotional.

Nalia grabbed at her scarf, glancing down at the ground. "Of h-him being u-u-under a r-r-r-rock."

"Huh? Lia that was only a figure of—" Cole started before being cut off by Zane.

"We understand, we'll watch our words more carefully." said Zane with a reassuring smile. "Now, I suggest we split up and start looking."

The rest of the ninjas nodded in agreement, and soon enough everyone had split up to look for Ronin.

Nalia searched from the air, since she was the only person able to fly and could get a bird's-eye view.

"I know I shouldn't have broken down like that after what Cole said. But even after so long, that image of Morro's death is still so vivid in my mind." Nalia could see some of the ninjas but so far not the thief.

Nalia suddenly stopped in the air when she realized something. "... How do I find someone, that I don't even know what looks like?"

*The ninjas and Nalia arrive at a pawn shop and start looking.*

"Wait a minute, this is my dad's Blade Cup trophy. What's it doing in a pawn shop?" Cole questioned confused.

"Selling stolen goods? Ha, sounds like we might have stumbled on the right place." said Kai with a smirk.

Someone whistles while carrying a vase into the shop.

"Ronin." Jay said.

"Huh?" Ronin looked over at who mentioned his name.

"That's Ronin? What happened to his eye?" Nalia asked.

"Going so soon?" Jay asked, the ninjas walked over.

"If this is about our last encounter, it was only business." said Ronin.

"You left us in the mouth of a—" Kai started but got cut off.

"So you're still upset. Let me make it up to you." Ronin puts his vase down and pushes a button. "Aha!" The Vengestone net trap fails. "Uh, that was a mistake. I can explain that."

"Argh, nothing here is legit, including you." said Cole.

"... Right." said Nalia trying to play along. "How can a person not be legit? Is it like a clone or something?"

"Yeah. I bet your airship's not far either. What do you call it again? Rylo? Ruby?" said Jay.

"R.E.X., and could you have a little sympathy? Sold her so I could buy this place. As you can see, I'm trying to make an honest living." Ronin told the ninjas.

"How is selling stolen stuff an honest living?" Nalia asked.

"Huh?" Ronin took a glance over at her. "Oh, well isn't this interesting. The famous singer Starlight, hanging out with the ninjas in a place like this."

"How is that interesting?" Nalia asked confused.

"Since you decided to visit my shop, why don't you buy something? I'm sure someone like you must be making a lot of cash." said Ronin walking over with a smug grin.

The ninjas got in front of Nalia, who to no surprise. Were obliverious to the situation.

"Honest enough to steal the Scroll of Airjitzu?" Kai asked, trying to drive the attention away from Nalia, and over to him instead.

"The Scroll of Who-whatzu?" Ronin asked confused.

"Airjitzu. It can make a Spinjitzu Master fly." Jay explained.

"Yeah. So hand it over or we can make you fly." Cole said, punching a fist into his other hand.

"I can make him fly, though I'm not sure how high it should be." Nalia suggested.

"It's better than you biting someone." Zane pointed out.

"Whoa, cool down, fella. Even if I had such a thing, it sounds pretty old and important. Definitely not something I'd keep on site. And definitely too much for you to afford. Maybe I can interest you in some unique weapons? I've got Jadeblades, obsidian armor..." said Ronin, trying to deescalate the situation.

"Have anything that can vanquish ghosts?" Zane asked.

"Hmm, ghosts you say?" Ronin pondered.

"Yeah. They hate water, but we're not looking for water balloons. We need something reliable." said Jay.

"Hmm, what you're looking for is an Aeroblade, forged by Deepstone, an aquatic material mined from the bottom of the ocean. Very unique. Even more expensive." Ronin told them.

"Doesn't sound like something I'll use, I don't use sharp weapons." Nalia thought to herself.

"Ugh, can't you see he's giving us the runaround? We want the scroll, Ronin. What do you want for it?" said Kai getting frustrated.

"Two hundred." said Ronin.

"What? Two hundred? We don't have that kind of dough!" said Jay, then glanced over at Nalia. "Wait, you should be swimming in money, you can buy it."

".... Would you believe me, if I said don't know how to use money?" Nalia gave an awkward smile.

.

.

.

.

.

The ninjas and even Ronin facepalmed at her stupidity.

"I don't even know how much I have, I would have to ask my manager... but after last call, that might not be the right time to ask such things." said Nalia scratching the back of her head.

"And you're only telling us this now?!" Jay exclaimed.

"How do you not know, you've seen us buying stuff before. Didn't he teach you how to use money?" Cole asked.

Nalia scratched the back of her head. "I didn't pay much attention to it, and I was a kid at the time so Momo did more of the buying stuff while I checked out what was in the store."

"Come on, you guys once had the Golden Weapons. You honestly telling me you've never pinched anything?" Ronin said to the ninjas, seeing it was no use with Nalia.

"No! We don't pinch. And we don't even have pockets." said Kai annoyed.

"What if we were to tell you all of Ninjago depends on it?" Cole asked.

"Well then, that changes everything. Four hundred." said Ronin.

"Huh? But that is more than before." said Nalia.

"Argh, you can't just double the price!" said Jay annoyed.

"My shop, my rules." said Ronin crossing his arms.

"I'm starting to see why you guys don't like him." said Nalia narrowing her eyes at him.

*The ninjas huddle together.*

"All right, so my gut says—" Kai began.

"What do you think, Zane?" Cole asked.

"What, my opinion doesn't matter?" Kai asked offended.

"We don't listen to your gut anymore, Kai. Zane's the leader. You just get us lost." Jay told him.

"He isn't wrong, sorry Kai." said Nalia apologetically.

"Well, I say we give him what he wants. I sense if we won't, Morro will." Zane told them.

"All right, but let me negotiate." said Kai and went over to Ronin "Two hundred."

"I don't understand money, but I already have a feeling this isn't gonna end well." Nalia whispered to the others.

"Meet too." Jay agreed.

"Four hundred." said Ronin.

"Three hundred." said Kai.

"Four hundred." said Ronin once more.

"Three-fifty."said Kai.

"Four-fifty." said Ronin.

"Deal." said Kai and shook hands with him.

"Knew it." Nalia facepalms.

"Ugh." Jay facepalms. They walk out of the shop. Sarcastically. "Nice negotiations, Kai."

"I didn't see you do any better." said Kai rolling his eyes.

"Now to find out how to make some money." said Zane.

Nalia slowly raised a hand.

"I don't think your singing is gonna help in this place Lia." said Cole.

Nalia went on and lowered her hand.

"I also think you should maybe hide your identity, Nalia. Since we have been getting strange looks since we got here." said Jay glancing at a few onlookers.

"How? I lost my hat back at Sensei Wu's tea shop, and I only have my sunglasses." Nalia shrugged while putting on her sunglasses.

"And the scarf?" Kai pointed out.

"I don't have anything else to cover my scars, I'm fine with you around to see them. But with others... I'm not comfortable." Nalia told them when grabbing at her scarf. "And I'm not sure how Momo would take it if he saw my scars."

Cole looked around and grabbed a random beanie on a drying rag. "Then how about you wear this?"

"Isn't this just stealing?" Nalia asked looking at the beanie.

"No, no, this isn't stealing. We are just borrowing it." said Jay taking the beanie and putting it on her.

"Without asking?" Nalia raised an eyebrow at the ninjas.

"Just don't think about it." said Kai and began pushing her forward as they headed towards the docks.

*The ninjas returns to the docks.*

"Oh, glad you five showed up. Even with a hundred coin a head, couldn't find anyone willing to go out there and complete the dock." said the foreman.

"Er, I don't know, we have to work over water?" Kai asked, looking hesitatingly at the water.

"Ain't the water you gotta be careful of. It's Strangle Weed. Grabs a hold of you, doesn't let go. But I could use a good team. How about it?" said the foreman.

"Oh! I've read about Strangle Weed once, it's like seaweed but somewhat sentient in some way. In the old days when people went out fishing, they would notice the weed and when touched they would get grabbed and dragged down. Drowning them to their death." Nalia explained to the team, their faces slowly turning pale mostly Kai's face.

Zane leaned over and whispered to Kai. "Just remind yourself, after we complete this, we'll be able to buy the Scroll." He turns back to the foreman. "Uh, we'll do it!" The ninja starts working. "Keep your eyes on the prize! Let's bring it in slowly. Come on, guys. One team, one dream!"

"Hey!" shouted Jay and Cole.

"Let's do it again!" shouted Zane to the others.

"Hey!" shouted Jay and Cole once more along with Nalia.

"There's nothing to it! Let's do it!" shouted Zane.

"Hey!" Jay, Cole and Nalia shouted together while working on the dock.

Zane laughs as they were close to finishing the dock.

"Oh. Would you look at that?" said the foreman surprised.

"Hey!" shouted Jay, Cole and Nalia once more.

"What a team." said the foreman amazed by how well they were working together.

"Excellent!" Zane tries to shoo a fly away, but accidentally swallows it and starts struggling.

"What is that supposed to mean? You want me to swing it? Okay, you're the leader." said Kai swinging the crane he was controlling..

"Zane, look out!" shouted Cole, but it were to late as he was hit by a pole the crane was holding.

Zane lands safely back with the others. ".enif m'I .gnikrow trats dna pu tilps s'teL" ("I'm fine. Let's split up and start working".) ".sdrawkcab s'eludom eciov yM" ("My voice module's backwards.")

"Uhh, what?" Nalia gave him a confused look. "I don't understand that language."

"It appears your entire language database is damaged, and there's nothing I can do." Pixal told Zane that only he could hear.

Zane sees a Strangle Weed. "!tuo hctaW !deew elgnarts ehT !eloC" ("Cole! The Strangle Weed! Watch out!")

"What's wrong with him?" Cole asked looking at the others.

Nalia just shrugged her shoulders, not having an answer.

"I don't know. I think he's talking backwards." said Jay then turning to Zane. "Slow down! We can't understand you!"

"!deew elgnartS !deew elgnartS" ("Strangle Weed! Strangle Weed!") Zane shouted.

"Ah! Strangle Weed! It's got me!" shouted Cole as he was getting dragged down by the weed.

"You want me to drop it? All right." Nalia quickly jumps in and saves Cole, but Kai drops a pole and accidentally destroys the dock. "So, heh, how about getting paid?" Kai asked, the foreman groans. Jay tries to fix Zane.

"Ah, his voice mod's on the fritz. I can fix it, but it's gonna take time." said Jay.

"?ti si ,dab taht ton s'tI" ("It's not that bad, is it?") Zane asked.

"It kind of is, sorry Zane." said Nalia, unable to lie.

"Sorry, Zane, you tried to lead, but I guess it just didn't work out." said Cole patting his shoulder.

Kai sighs. "No money, no scroll. And it couldn't have happened at a worse time."

"What are you, a bunch of quitters? Sure, we can't understand Zane, but did we ever? And Kai's the last person I'd want to follow." said Jay.

Zane grew an offended expression on his face at what Jay was saying about him.

"Hey!" shouted Kai offended.

"But now I'm in charge. We may not have the money to buy the Scroll, but I say we don't need it." said Jay.

"Why not?" Nalia asked.

"And why's that?" Cole asked.

"'Cause we're gonna steal it!" Jay told the team.

"Jay, we're ninja, not thieves!" said Cole.

"Cole is right, and I don't like stealing. It's not nice and only bad people do that." said Nalia very much against it.

"Yeah, but we're stealing from a thief. Haven't you ever heard, two wrongs make a right?" said Jay trying to convince the team.

"Uh, Jay, I don't think that's how it goes." said Kai.

"'.thgir a ekam t'nod sgnorw owt' s'tI" ("It's 'two wrongs don't make a right.'") Zane tried correcting him.

"Shut it, Mush Mouth. I'm the leader and what I say goes. After Ronin locks up tonight, we steal the Scroll of Airjitzu." Jay told them.

"But I don't wanna steal!" Nalia crossed her arms and started pouting.

The whole team let out a heavy sigh at Nalia's stubbornness.

"Lia, we understand you are against this plan. But don't you wanna save Lloyd?" Cole asked.

"... Of course I wanna save Lloyd." said Nalia with a sigh.

"Then you must understand why we have to steal that scroll. It's for the better good." said Jay grabbing her shoulder. "Unless you are able to talk Morro out of possessing Lloyd, this is the only way."

Nalia looked at the ninjas then at the ground, a sad expression.

"If you are so against the stealing, then maybe you should sit this one out while we go and get it." said Kai crossing his arms.

"What?" Nalia looked over at him, hearing they would leave her out of it.

"We can't force you into doing something you don't want. So how about you wait somewhere safe until we return with the scroll?" said Cole.

Nalia tighten her fists, the thought of staying in a place where she could be safe felt like she was back in her cave. And she found it annoying everyone wanted her to be in some kind of safe box.

"No, I'm coming with you guys. I might not like stealing, but I will do anything to save Lloyd." said Nalia with a serious look in her eyes.

*Night time.*

"Remember, I'm in charge. We're not stealing the scroll, we're returning it to the library after we learn Airjitzu." Jay reminded the ninjas.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night." said Cole.

"Can we please just be quick with it?" Nalia asked, still hating the idea.

"And we're ninja! Let's keep it quiet." said Jay.

"Ninja, go!" said everyone.

Jay falls down a roof. "Whoa!"

"Aah! Get out of here, you blue weirdo!" screamed a woman.

Jay climbs out. "Let's try to be a little more quiet, shall we? Last I remember, we're ninja."

"..." Nalia just gave him a deadpanned look.

"Lia, please stop giving me that look." said Jay.

*At Ronin's Paw Shop, Ronin whistles, but Soul Archer points his bow at him.*

"Huh? Soul Archer. I thought I was gonna have more time. I'm a little short." said Ronin.

"I'll return for your debt later, but for now, I came for something else." said Soul Archer.

"Uh, if this is about our last—Aah!" Ronin sees Morro. "Lloyd, you're a little late. Your friends were just here. Or should I call you by another name?"

"The ninjas. They were already here?" Soul Archer asked.

"Where's the Scrolls of Airjitzu?" Morro asked in a demanding voice.

"The Scroll of Who-whatzu? Hey, love the armor. A little dinged up, but I'll make you a fair offer." Morro grabs him. "Aah! I'll tell you what I told the ninjas, it's not here. But I can get it for five hundred?" said Ronin.

"You're supposed to pick the lock, not try to bite it off." Kai whispered.

"Ugh, if I had my powers, I'd zap it, after I zap you!" Jay whisper-yelled at him.

"I know how to pick a lock." Nalia suggested.

"How do you know that?" Cole asked.

"Morro taught me." Nalia explained.

"Help—" Morro covers Ronin's mouth.

"Hide. Let them find it, then take it." Morro whispered.

Suddenly the door to the shop got open by Nalia having perfectly picked the lock of the door.

"Told you I knew how to pick a lock, though that doesn't mean I'm proud of breaking and entering someone else's place." said Nalia.

"I don't like sneaking around in the dark any more than you do, so let's just find the scroll and get out of here." said Kai.

"Hey, when you guys were leaders, you never heard me complain. And if you don't like sneaking around, why become a ninja? And leave no stone unturned." Jay told the others.

"... But you were complaining a few times." said Nalia with a sigh and began searching when she suddenly caught a familiar scent.

Ronin grunts when he's tied up and gagged with duct tape.

"Not a word." Morro whispered then observed the ninjas, and Nalia searching for the scroll.

"The faster we find the Scroll, the faster we can work on the next clue that will lead us to the tomb. Then we can save Lloyd, and it will be all because of me." said Jay.

"..." Nalia gave Jay once again a deadpanned look.

"Could you please stop giving me that look Lia." said Jay getting uncomfortable.

"Ah, I found it!" said Cole.

Jay gasps. "You found the scroll?"

"No, but I found my father's trophy. I'm taking it back. He danced hard for this." said Cole having grabbed the trophy.

Soul Archer, possessing an organ, grabs Jay. "Aah! Holy pipes! The organ's got me!"

"Uh, it's possessed by a ghost! I forgot what we're supposed to do." said Cole.

"Water! Water!" shouted Jay.

"I got water! Ugh!" Kai uses a flower vase, but there's no water. "Hey, these flowers are fake!"

"We're in a village built entirely over water. Please, take your time!" shouted Jay.

Nalia looked around trying to find anything that had water, she grabbed a vase but all that came out was dirt.

"That isn't water!" shouted Jay now covered in dirt.

"Sorry." said Nalia.

"Aha!" Cole throws a water jug at him, but Soul Archer escapes.

"!sdneirf s'orroM fo eno rehtonA" ("Another one of Morro's friends!") shouted Zane.

"I think he said "another one of Morro's friends." " said Kai, translating what Zane was saying.

"And there's more where that came from!" Morro summons three more ghosts.

"We're gonna need more water." said Cole.

The ninjas began running around while throwing things at the ghosts.

Nalia turned her attention to Morro and charged right at him, and pushed him against a wall. "Stop this Morro, please."

"Sorry sis, but that ain't gonna happen." Morro tried breaking free, but Nalia wasn't letting him.

"Morro please, I don't wanna fight you let alone hurt you. Stop this before it gets out of hand." Nalia pleaded, just wanting him to stop.

"If you don't wanna fight me, then stay out of this Lia." said Morro in a harsh tone, struggling to break free. "Ouch, I knew you were strong, but not to the point of almost breaking my bones."

Hearing him say she was breaking his bone with her strength, Nalia quickly let him go in a panic. "I-I didn't mean to, how bad is it? Do I need to heal you?"

Seeing the concern Nalia still had for him even in this situation, a smirk grew on Morro's face. "You never change, Nalia." He patted her head before knocked her over, by tripping her.

"Aah!" Nalia fell to the ground, caught off guard.

Ronin manages to get up and get half the duct tape off. "Cut me free."

"Not until you give me the Scroll. You're not the only one who can make a deal." said Kai.

"Then at least take an Aeroblade and get rid of a few of these ghosts." said Ronin.

"You said they were hard to come by." said Kai.

"I'm a businessman, that was business. Whoa!" Ronin dodges one of the ghosts. "This is personal. Now cut me free."

"Not before we check out the merchandise." Kai destroys a ghost with it. "Huh? They worked! Try these!" He gives more Aeroblades to the other ninjas.

"But I don't wanna use a sharp object." said Nalia after having gotten back up and given one of the Aeroblades.

"Nalia!" shouted the ninjas frustrated.

Nalia pouted while holding her Aeroblade, she never liked carrying sharp weapons since she didn't like hurting others. Which is why she went with a staff for her weapon. But against ghosts her staff was useless.

"Being a ninja doesn't suit you one bit sis. You should just stick to singing, at least then you wouldn't have to worry about hurting others." Morro told her.

"I should have known that it was pointless, I can't fight Morro, even if I didn't hurt him. I would still be hurting Lloyd's body, and I had told him that I would never hurt him." Nalia was feeling completely hopeless about what she was gonna do.

Morro rushed towards her, trying to land a hit but Nalia were quick to block it. "My offer still stands Nalia, join me and you wouldn't have to worry about fighting me."

Nalia looked up at him, tears forming in her eyes as she struggled to decide. While blocking his attacks. "Don't make me choose, Momo. Not like this."

Ronin uses Jay's Aeroblade to free himself and starts fighting with Morro.

"Where is the Scroll?" Morro asked, having his attention pulled away from Nalia.

"You'll never find it!" Ronin kicks Morro into a vase, revealing the Scroll. "Whoa!"

"The Scroll!" shouted the ninjas.

"Only one of us shall possess it." said Morro.

"Yeah, me!" Ronin whistles, grabs the Scroll, and escapes on R.E.X.

"Ah, I told you his ship wasn't far!" said Jay.

"Sorry to leave you hanging, but since this Scroll's so important, I can't just give it away." said Ronin only for Morro to use Wind on him, making him fall out. Unable to summon his ship again, he runs away.

"Run, run, run away. My arrow will find you anyway." said Soul Archer.

Ronin shields himself with a sign. "Right. Unh, that was close."

"But so am I." Morro takes the Scroll.

"Ah, no! Morro's got the Scroll. We can't let him get away!" shouted Jay.

"He won't outrun the five of us." said Cole.

"Aah!" Jay falls down a roof again.

"Aah! Not again!" screamed the woman.

"Scratch that, guess it's just the four of us." said Cole.

Everyone uses a telephone wire to swing to another building, but Zane is left behind.

".etanutrofnu s'tahT" ("That's unfortunate.") said Zane.

"Looks like it's just the three of us now." When Kai, Nalia and Cole jump across buildings, Cole's jump is too short and he falls. "Whoa! Go, Kai! Nalia!"

Morro leads him to the docks. "Ah, great. More water. Nalia you go!" Morro uses his Wind to propel himself to an out-of-reach pole.

Morro reads the Scroll. "What's the matter? Can't swim?" After doing Airjitzu, he summons his Dragon. "Looks like the better ninja won." He flies away only to get tackled off his dragon by Nalia. "What the fuck?!"

"Momo please just stop this." Nalia pleaded as they were falling towards the sea.

Morro uses the wind to push them away from the water and towards the docks. "Not happening Lia, while I do care about you. I won't let anything get in my way."

Nalia was knocked back by Morro using spinjitzu against her, causing her to crash into a building.

Morro summoned his dragon once more and flew away while picking up Soul Archer on the way.

Nalia got out of the broken building, and watched Morro getting away. "Why Momo, why do you have to be such a stubborn idiot, again."

The ninjas soon found Nalia and brought her on to Ronin's airship R.E.X.

*The ninja, except Kai, meet up on a table.*

"Ugh, so after all this, Morro gets Airjitzu and we're left with zip? I hate being leader, but I hate losing even more." said Jay frustrated.

".eerga I" ("I agree.") said Zane.

They see Kai walk into the room.

"We didn't lose everything. At least Kai's okay and Nalia too. Tomorrow, I'll command, and we'll figure something out." said Cole.

"Thanks for the pick-me-up." said Kai.

"Same here, thank you." said Nalia with a small smile.

"Remember what I said about second chances, and I'm gonna hold you that deal. So long, and I hope you get your friend back." Ronin leaves.

"Second chances? What did he mean by that?" Cole asked.

"Did I miss something?" Nalia asked with a yawn, once again starting to feel sleepy.

"We may have lost out on the Scroll, but he thinks there may be another way to learn Airjitzu." Kai explained.

"We're still gonna fly like Lia?" Cole asked.

"Really? Another way?" Jay simultaneously asked.

"swen taerg si sihT" ("This is great news.") said Zane simultaneously.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait a sec, Ronin makes deals in his favor, and you're a terrible negotiator." said Cole.

"Oh no." Nalia had a bad feeling about what deal they had made.

"Kai, what did you give him?" Jay asked.

"I sort of gave him...my shares of the tea farm...along with all of yours." said Kai with a nervous smile.

"You what!?" shouted Jay.

"Wu's gonna flip!" shouted Cole.

"Oh mangos." Nalia said.

"!swen elbirroh s'tahT" ("That's horrible news!") shouted Zane.

"I did what I had to, and for Lloyd, I'd do it again." said Kai.

"You're right. But I have to ask, if Morro has the only Scroll, just how are we gonna learn Airjitzu?" Cole asked.

"Let's just say, it's not gonna be easy. We have a ghost of a chance." said Kai.
