"Hmm...." Nalia slowly began waking up, letting out a small wince. "Ow my head, what happened?"

Nalia shook her hurting head, slowly getting up from the cold ground though she soon noticed her movement was limited. Her hands and legs were chained together to the ground.

"What the mango?" Nalia tried pulling on the chains but nothing much was happening. "How did I even end up here?"

*Flashback.*

"Stupid headaches, when will they stop coming?" Nalia growled before she heard a knock at the door. "Who can it be at this hour?"

Nalia slowly walked over to the door while holding her head with one hand as she went on to open the door.

When opening the door, Nalia's eyes widened at the sight of the person in front of her, slightly taken aback. "Lloyd, what are you doing here? Weren't you just helping Jay back to his room?"

"I already got him back to his room and decided to check up on you." said Lloyd, scratching the back of his head.

"I'm.... doing alright. Just have another headache and planned on going to bed." Nalia explained, rubbing her head but still stood by the doorway.

"Another headache? Well that's not good. Might want someone to check on that." Lloyd reached a hand up to touch her head with a concerned look on his face.

Nalia wasn't sure why, but something didn't feel right. So by instinct she quickly grabbed his wrist. Not too hard, but just enough to stop him mid way.

"Lia what's wrong? I'm just worried about you." said Lloyd a bit confused but still sounding very concerned.

Nalia narrowed her eyes at him as they changed to golden behind her sunglasses and could see he had a different elemental aura. "Who man–who the fuck are you? Because you clearly aren't Lloyd, in neither power nor scent."

"W-what are you talking about Lia? Is your headache maybe affecting you by chance?" Lloyd asked.

Nalia let out a low growl at this person faking to be Lloyd. "I've already been fooled by Camille. When she used her powers to change into Lloyd. So why don't you show your real face, spy."

"Huh, you might not be as stupid as you seem to be. Looks like you do have a brain after all." said the fake Lloyd, but not before using his free hand to hit her in the back of the head. Knocking her out, but were able to get a short glimpse of who the traitor actually was when they changed back...

*End of flashback.*

"I need to get back to the others and tell them who the spy is." Nalia took a glance at the chains on her wrists, keeping her in place and not able to move much. ".....Right, almost forgot about this part."

Not seeing many options Nalia began chewing on the chains with her sharp teeth. Slowly breaking them apart.

Suddenly the sound of a door could be heard opening to the room she was chained in, and soon footsteps could be heard walking in.

"Looks like she has awoken master." said Clouse, having walked in with Chen and the spy right behind.

The three stopped in their tracks when they saw Nalia chewing on the chains, before she turned to see all three of them. For a few minutes they were just staring at each other, with the sound of Nalia's teeth biting on the chains.

"Clouse, I'm pretty sure I told you to use the best vengestone chains so she wouldn't be able to escape. And yet... SHE'S CHEWING THROUGH THEM?!" Chen exclaimed in disbelief.

"Master Chen, I am just as surprised as you in seeing this. But I can assure you, those are the best chains we had." Clouse explained in a calm tone.

Nalia just observed them while she kept chewing the chains, almost breaking free of them. Until she turned her attention to the spy... Skylor.

Stopping for a moment Nalia narrowed her eyes. "Why Skylor? How could you do this? Trick all of us, and then having me get locked up?" She tried taking a step forward but was stopped by the chains keeping her in place.

"Sorry Nalia, but I couldn't have you ruin anything. Besides, my father had planned on having you locked up from the very start. But since you are a famous singer we had to change the plans a bit." Skylor went on to explain.

"Father?" Nalia looked at her and then over at Chen a few times until it clicked in her head. A low growl escaped from her but tried to calm her temper. "So you knew all along he was stealing everyone's powers?" She tried taking another step, a bit more forceful as chains were starting to break. "You knew?!"

"Clouse do something before she breaks free!" shouted Chen at him.

"Of course Master Chen." Clouse used his dark magic to force Nalia down on her knees and being unable to move.

Chen let out a small sigh of relief before letting out a laugh as he walked towards Nalia with his staff. "I must say Miss Starlight, even though you are the elemental master of sand. It seems like you have other powers too. Very strong powers according from Skylor for what she told me."

He raised the staff and pointed it towards her. "Not only that, but it being powerful elemental powers. Which should increase my goal." Chen activated his staff and started draining Nalia's powers.

Nalia started screaming in pain as her powers were getting drained, but what was much worse about this unlike for the other elemental masters. Was that she had a lot of elemental powers inside her. Meaning that this went on for a lot longer, if not hours from what it felt like for her. And with the golden seals on her body glowing brightly by her powers being taken.

Skylor didn't say anything as she just observed in silence. But the longer it went she was growing more concerned for Nalia.

Chen only stopped draining Nalia's powers when Clouse informed him that it wasn't long until everyone woke up and he wasn't sure for how longer he could keep using his dark magic on her.

Nalia laid on the ground breathing heavily and not having the strength to get back up. She ignoring the growing headache she was getting and instead turned her head to look up at the three, her eyes glowing golden with sweatdrops running down her face. "When my friends... finds out I'm gone... they will know that it was you and... and... search for me."

Chen just laughed at Nalia's weak statement. "Hahahaha! Not if they believe you were given a day off!"

Nalia let out a low growl and slowly sat up and leaned her body all the way back before throwing her head forward and used her fire breath, aiming right at them.

"Aah!" Chen and Skylor were taken by surprise by this, while Clouse acted quickly by using his dark magic to stop the fire and knocked Nalia hard back.

"Looks like she still has some energy left master." said Clouse giving Nalia a cold glance.

"Well we can't leave her with energy to break free now can we?" Chen pointed the staff at Nalia and used the powers in it to blast towards her.

Nalia now got blasted by the powers in Chen's staff, making her scream out in pain and struggling to hold back the tears forming in her eyes until she was knocked out cold.

"There, that should do it. Now, we can't let the others wait!" said Chen all excited as he walked out of the room.

"Yes master Chen." Clouse following right behind him.

Skylor took a last glance at Nalia's body lying on the ground and for a second she thought she saw her golden eyes staring back at her as the door closed...

*Unknown place.*

"Huh? Where am I?" Nalia looked around in confusion. Until she noticed seven floating symbols.

Curious, Nalia walked towards them but for some reason she couldn't get closer to them no matter how much she walked.

"Hello! can someone here tell me what this place is?" Nalia called out to the symbols or anyone who could hear her.

But none one answered her back, all Nalia did hear was muffle voices of what seemed to come from those symbols.

Nalia waved her arms wildly in the air trying to gain the voices's attention but nothing was working. It was like she wasn't even there to them.

"They can't hear me... no one can." Nalia grew worried not knowing what else to do.

"She calls herself a ______ ______, yet she doesn't even use her full strength to easily break free?! Pathetic!" said one of the symbols in a harsh tone.

Nalia snapped her attention back to the symbols when she began hearing them more clearly this time.

"She is still growing, don't forget. It wasn't that long ago since she left the cave meant to keep her hidden." said a different symbol in a softer voice.

"Doesn't excuse that she is holding back." said a cold voice.

"We can't blame her for it, after all. None of us should ever meddle with the mortals in the first place." said someone in a calmer tone.

"She wouldn't be in this situation if someone here hadn't —" One of the symbols accused before their voice was getting all muffled again.

"What?" Nalia grew more confused as questions were building up but as it became harder to hear their voices. The place she was in slowly faded away.

*Back at Nalia's prison.*

Nalia slowly started waking up, letting out a groan as she was getting another headache.

When placing a hand to her face, Nalia noticed something was stuck to her. "Huh?" She began feeling what it was and it didn't take her long to figure it out. "Are you kidding me?! Again?"

Nalia gave a heavy sigh as she found out that she was wearing a muzzle so she couldn't bite through the chains. "They must have put this on me while I wasn't awake."

She tried pulling on the muzzle but nothing was happening she even tried reach the back of her head. But with the chains on her wrists locked to the floor that wasn't possible for her either.

Giving it a try with using her powers instead she still couldn't do much as Chen had taken a lot of the powers in her.

"What the mango?" Nalia growled in slight annoyance. "I need to get back to the others, but how am I meant to do that if I can't even break myself free..."

Nalia sighs heavily and looked up at the ceiling. "It's like I'm back in my cave again... but this time I don't have the freedom to leave." She grabbed her scarf, tightening her hold on it. "Morro..."

"No, I need to figure out a way out while I have the chance." Nalia shook her head and snapped her focus to break free and get out of this place.

Nalia got up from the floor and tried pulling on the chains that seemed to have increased in numbers and seemed a bit thicker. She gave a frustrated growl but tried keeping her rage in control.

She kept trying to pull herself free but whenever she tried it seemed like the chains would only tighten on her, causing a growing pain to her wrists and legs. "That stupid Clouse must have used something on these."

Nalia let out another sigh in annoyance but tried working out an idea. She was on her own this time and with no one to come and help her at any moment...

*Jumping to everyone else on a blimp flying above the island.*

"You guys don't actually believe Nalia was allowed to skip this, right?" Jay asked with a nervous smile.

"I mean, Nalia is a famous singer so she has been allowed to skip out for some of the tournament. But after her performance yesterday..." Kai scratched the back of his head.

"No way, even if that was true. Lia would still come with us, and I doubt Chen would allow her to be left alone while the rest of us are gone." said Lloyd with a determined glance.

Garmadon nodded in agreement. "Chen must have done something and is using the fact she is famous to skip challenges as a cover-up."

"Then what are we sitting around here for? We should go back and check her room and if she isn't there we try searching for her." said Lloyd standing up.

Garmadon grabbed his shoulder and pulled him back in his seat. "Don't act so hasty, son, this could be a trap set by Chen. We need to think this over with a clear mind. Nothing good comes out of rushing in without a plan."

"I've had enough of this. I can't stand heights. Where's Chen?" Neuro opens the door to the control room, but no one's piloting it. "Ugh!"

Chen then appeared on screen. "How do I know if this thing's on? Oh, oh, oh, I see the light. Oh, oh, I'm on? Right now? Ahem, ahem. Hello, everyone. I see you are all eager for the tournament to commence so one of you can win my Staff of Elements. Instead of fighting for a Jadeblade, today you will be fighting for something different." He shows them a video of Nya.

"Nya." said Kai surprised when seeing her in the video.

"You know her?" Skylor asked when turning to him.

"It's my sister." Kai explained.

"We have an uninvited guest on the island." Chen told them from the screen.

"And she must be holding the proof that will stop Chen." said Kai with a determined look.

"Find her and you will automatically move on..." Chen went on explaining.

"The spell he plans to use when he takes our powers." Kai turned to Skylor and then glanced back at the screen.

"...to the final round!" Chen declared for everyone to hear.

"He wants us all to hunt her down? She won't stand a chance." said Jay worried for Nya.

"Then we have to find her before anyone else does." said Lloyd looking at his team. "And maybe we will be able to find out if Lia is actually alright... I really hope she is."

"In ten seconds, the bottom will drop." Everyone gasps. "But to show you I'm not a bad man, I've given you eight parachutes." Everyone but Garmadon rushes to grab a parachute. "Sensei Garmadon is there? Shoot, that makes nine. Oh, well, I was never good at math. Heh. Toodle-oo." said Chen as he ended the call and the screen turned off.

"That guy's love for trapdoors is seriously getting on my nerves!" said Lloyd in frustration as everyone falls off.

"Lloyd, use your Energy Dragon!" Jay shouted to Lloyd while they were falling.

Lloyd tries to, but fails. "I can't! I can't get it to work!" Jay lands on top of Griffin's parachute.

"Get your own chute, Lead Foot." said Griffin as he forced him off.

As Jay kept falling he catches himself a parachute. "I got one! I got one! Hahaha!"

"Your powers don't work because you aren't controlling your fear. Focus." Mr. Pale steals Lloyd's parachute. "Control your fear. Don't let it control you. Center yourself." Garmadon told Lloyd.

Neuro takes Kai's chute. "Whoa!" He takes another parachute. "There's only one parachute left."

Lloyd and Garmadon both grab the last one. "We'll share."

"They're only built for one. This is an easy decision." said Garmadon looking at his son.

"You're right." Lloyd opens the parachute for Garmadon and lets go.

"What have you done!?" Garmadon shouted after him.

"Control my fear." Lloyd summons the dragon just as he hits the trees.

"Huh. He made it!" said Kai surprised.

"Haha! Of course, he did!" said Jay with a laugh.

"Atta boy!" said Garmadon with a proud smile.

*Hours later, back with Nalia.*

"Arrgh!!" Nalia shouted in frustration, laying on the ground and looking up at the ceiling.

The chains on her wrists and legs had tightened to the point she couldn't ignore the pain. Along with the small trail of blood running down her arms from how tight the chains were and with them having a few sharp edges.

"I hate this so much." Tears were running down Nalia's face from the frustration and pain she felt. "I can't bite the chains off *sobs* because of this stupid muzzle. And if I try using force, the *sobs* chains just keep getting tighter. I don't even have enough power to break free."

Nalia curled in on herself and tried wiping away the tears that wouldn't go away. "I'm so stupid! If I had just *sobs* controlled my temper better when I performed in front of everyone. Then I might not be *sobs* in this situation. Stupid, stupid, stupid!"

(The song she is singing.)

(link to song)

"Sinking deeper down and down in a sea of my sadness

I've shut myself inside my own world

There is no one who can find me here in a place like this

I'm alone and that's the story of the Deep Sea Girl.~"

Nalia kept wiping away her tears as she sang and the scratches on her wrists slowly started healing.

"I don't know where I am or what I should do

But suddenly I'm blinded by a ray of light

And I realized I could reach it if only I had tried

But a wave of water comes to wash it out of my view.

It leaves me with a feeling so warm like the sun

So bright and dazzling, I almost wanted to break loose

But I stayed behind my counter illumination

So who is hiding the truth?~"

Nalia slowly raised one of her hands into the air, using what powers she had to create a few tiny stars that started dancing along to her song.

"Little girl inside the sea, sinking down into the deep

'Til the world all around her is as dark as it could be

Little girl inside the sea, wants to know the person she saw then

Because there is somebody who makes her want to live again...~"

Nalia began thinking back to Lloyd and the others as she kept singing, her voice slightly breaking in the end.

"In the place where I am now, there is no day or night

So here I am, awake inside this endless dream

But I think back to the way that you freely spread wings

You were absolutely beautiful when you took flight

And once again the rays of light are catching my eyes

You turn in time to see me staring straight at you

And as you start to make your way towards me, I finally realize

It's me who's hiding the truth...

Little girl inside the sea, falling down into the deep,

Breaks the darkness around her with the redness in her cheeks

Little girl inside the sea, just wants to have her heart be seen as is

But the cruel ocean won't allow for petty things like this!~"

Nalia took a glance back at the chains, narrowed her eyes, thinking back to how she let herself get caught off guard by Skylor. Yet, she had already caught on quickly.

"And I know that all the clothes I wear are torn up and dirty

The smile on my face no longer means I'm happy

There is no way that I can possibly let myself be shown

So please, just leave me alone!

Suddenly all the feelings that I had kept inside me burst, melting down

And then I tried to look for you but came to realize that you're nowhere to be found...~"

Nalia curled back into herself, hating that she was alone. Again, in another prison like the cave she lived in for so many years.

"Little girl's anxiety builds inside her steadily

She is scared that darkness took the one she wants to meet

Feeling trapped inside the sea, she cannot help but to reach out her hand.

"You also have splendid colors in you, do you understand?"

Little girl inside the sea, slowly led up from the deep

As she hears songs of blessings from the snow colored marine

Little girl inside the sea, wants to know the person she saw then

Because she has found the one who makes her want to live again!~"

Nalia thought back to the others and how they were probably still fighting to stop Chen and Clouse. Being reminded that her lying here and crying wasn't gonna do anything.

She then thought back to something Morro had said to her a few times. That if she really wanted something, then she couldn't just sit around and wait. She would have to go out and take it herself.

"And now that I'm out of the ocean, I'll take off again.... !"

Nalia let out a sigh and slowly sat up, glancing at the chains. "I'm still just a crybaby, as Momo would say. But... I'm also a ninja, and a ninja never quits. If I really want to be free and see my friends again. I have to be smarter..."

With the time she had, Nalia used it to actually work out a plan that could work. It all just depended on if she could do it even though it might be a little risky.

Suddenly the sound of the door opening once more could be heard. Nalia looked up, not surprised to see it was Clouse, Chen and Skylor again, but what did surprise her was Kai.

"K-Kai!" Nalia's eyes widened in shock, she tried getting up. But the dark magic clinging to her tightened, causing her to fall to the ground again. "Kai what are you doing here? Where are the others? Are you alright?"

"So this is where you took Nalia." said Kai, sounding surprised. "But why is she so tied up? Isn't that a little excessive?"

"With how much power she has, we have to be extra safe that she can't break free." Clouse explained.

"And the muzzle?" Kai further asked.

"This little singer has some sharp teeth, so we couldn't let her try and bite us." said Chen smirking.

"Kai?" Nalia grew more confused about what was going on, and why he wasn't fighting back.

"Sorry Lia, but with the power Chen has. No one can stop him, not even Lloyd alone." Kai explained with a sigh. "With how powerful Chen is, I have to think about the safety for myself and my sister."

"I don't believe that!" Nalia narrowed her eyes at him. "A ninja never quits, or did you forget what Sensei taught us?"

"What use are Sensei's teachings if they can't protect my own sister?" Kai questioned in a stern tone. "You might have been a ninja Nalia, but you clearly got rusty from being a singer. You shouldn't have come."

Nalia's eyes widened in disbelief, tears slowly forming at the corner of her eyes. She opened her mouth to speak but closed it, she was struggling to ask if he was lying but also scared if he were telling the truth. Which she didn't want it to be.

"Yeah, yeah, so sad and touching. This is why you shouldn't trust anyone, you never know who'll betray you." Chen rolled his eyes and walked closer. "Now, how about we see just how much more we can get out of you?"

Chen raised his staff in front of Nalia and once more began draining her powers.

Nalia started screaming from the pain of her powers being taken from her. Golden seals, appearing on her body once again.

Kai and the others observed while Clouse used his black magic to keep Nalia from trying to move... yet, he seemed to start struggling.

Nalia still screaming, gritted her teeth with a low growl. A faded silhouette of a golden dragon standing in her place, as her body glowed and she slowly fought back against Clouse's magic when she began standing up.

"Clouse what is wrong with your magic?! She is moving!" shouted Chen but didn't stop from draining her powers.

"I'm trying Master, but she is clearly a lot more powerful than we thought." Clouse began putting more force into his magic, the binds tightening on Nalia's legs and wrists to the point it drew blood.

Nalia gave Chen a deadly glare, blue fire appearing from her mouth as she was slowly breathing. "You annoying pest, you'll get what is coming for you." She was forced back down on the ground as Clouse was finally able to gain back control.

Chen just started laughing at Nalia when she was completely chained to the ground, not able to move. "Oh dear Starlight, making such threats is useless when you can't even do anything." He got closer, standing in front of her and looked down with a big grin.

He grabbed her scarf and forced her to look up at him, knowing this was making it more painful and uncomfortable for her. "Unlike all the others, I'll be keeping you as my pet. A sweet little song bird with endless power for only me to use! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

The moment Chen touched Nalia's scarf her pupils changed into slits like a cat and with what strength she had left. Nalia jumped forwards and broke her muzzle open by sheer force when going for a bite at him.

Chen jumped back with a frightened scream, but not fast enough as she bit into his free hand. "Aaaaah! She is crazy! You idiots! Don't just stand around while I'm beng attacked, get this BEAST off of me!"

Clouse tried using his dark magic to take control of Nalia's mind, but was unable to as the rage coming from her was making it impossible.

"Lia, let go of him!" Kai ran over with Skylor to help Chen.

Nalia just growled and added more force to her bite, the sound of bones cracking in Chen's hand could easily be heard along with his screams.

"Nalia! Please." Kai gave her a worried look, not wanting her to make it worse for herself.

Nalia glanced up at Kai and her eyes softened as she calm down and finally let go of Chen's hand. Spitting out a bit of blood that had gotten in her mouth.

"You accursed beast!" Chen used his staff to hit Nalia in the head with the elemental power of earth. Striking her with a rock that knocked her as far back as her chains would let her, which wasn't far at all.

Nalia growled in pain, placing a hand to her head from where she was hit. She felt something wet when she pulled her hand back and saw blood.

Chen pulled his broken, bleeding hand away from Skylor as he walked towards Nalia once more and raised his staff. "You are gonna pay for biting your new Master."

Nalia slowly glanced up at him. "... You are n-n-no Master. J-just a c-coward hiding b-b-behind a stick."

Chen narrowed his eyes and gritted his teeth. Then fired lightning at her from his staff.

Nalia started screaming as she got electrocuted. Her body was shaking like crazy.

Kai watched in horror at what Chen was doing to Nalia, wanting to jump in and save her. But if he stepped in now, it would ruin his plan to stop Chen and get his staff.

At some point Clouse had stopped using his dark magic on her, seeing that she was far too weak to fight back. And so couldn't really break free. But that didn't mean he wasn't ready if she pulled another trick like earlier.

Chen's torture went on for a while until he finally stopped when Skylor suggested that it might be time to go and finish this and get Lloyd's powers.

Nalia was lying on the ground breathing weakly while covered in blood and injuries, but even so she hadn't lost her fighting spirit.

"I'll make sure to tell your boyfriend that you've become my new pet, and how I needed to teach you, your first lesson." said Chen with an evil smile as he left, though it wasn't hard to hear he was still in pain from the bleeding hand that Nalia had bitten.

Kai took one last glance at Nalia and whispered an apology, along with giving her a wink as the door to her prison closed once more and the sound of their footsteps slowly grew more distant.

The moment Nalia couldn't hear them anymore, a smirk appeared on her face. "F-Finally."

Nalia took a slow, deep breath and began singing in a low tune.

(The song she is singing.)

(link to song)

"Water running, stronger, rougher

Holding onto (any-any) anything

All I want is to survive it

If I let go, will it be the end of me?

Got to move on, held on too long

Sweep me away, out into the ocean.~"

Nalia's body slowly started healing as she sang, though she didn't have as much energy because of Chen taking most of her powers and the serious beating.

"Mighty river release my soul, I need to see the world

To the unknown, I'll go against my sorrow (Sorrow)

Mighty river release my soul out to the open road

I can't stay here forever in this hollow (Hollow)

Oh, river take me out, take me away river

Oh, river take me out, take me out to thе unknown

Oh, river take me out, takе me away river

Oh, river take me out, take me out to the unknown.~"

Nalia slowly sat up as one of her stars that she had summoned secretly without Chen and the others having used, flew over to her with a set of keys.

She had been able to use her sand powers to steal the keys, and then handed them to the star while everyone's attention had been on her as she had planned.

Though her biting Chen's hand wasn't part of the plan, but it helped distracting everyone.

"Take me slowly in your arms

The truth can show me what I've done wrong

Do you see the flaming arrows in the air?

It's brutal

Take me, take me, take me further

Save me, save me now

So I'll never ever have to be afraid that I will lose my heart

Mighty river release my soul, I need to see the world

To the unknown, I'll go against my sorrow (Sorrow)

Mighty river release my soul out to the open road

I can't stay here forever in this hollow (Hollow)~"

The star got to the locks of the chains keeping her stuck to the room and unable to move, and began going through the keys as it tried unlocking them.

"Oh, river take me out, take me away river

Oh, river take me out, take me out to thе unknown

Oh, river take me out, takе me away river

Oh, river take me out, take me out to the unknown

Out into the ocean.~"

As Nalia finished singing, most of her injuries had been healed and the star had been able to unlock all the locks, now able to remove the chains.

"Looks like using one of Momo's old tricks he taught me worked." Nalia patted the star with a soft smile. "Thanks for the help." The star jumped around in the air before it then disappeared.

Nalia picked up the keys and slightly stumbled over to the door, but could see that from the inside there wasn't any keyholes to it. Letting out a heavy sigh.

"Oh mangos, things never get easier." Nalia tried finding some other way to get out of her prison but so far it looked like the door was the only way.

She suddenly got an idea, though she had never tried this before it should still work.

Taken a deep breath Nalia went on and used her fire breath on the door, the metal quickly turning red from how hot her fire breath was.

When it seemed hot enough, Nalia then struck it with half the strength she had with her fist and broke the door open.

Nalia stumbled to the ground from exhaustion, her body shaking as she struggled getting up. "N-ninja never q-quiets, I can't give up. M-must find the o-o-others and save Lloyd."

With a determined look in her glowing golden eyes, Nalia got back up and forced herself forward in the long unknown hallway. Watching out for any cultists that might have heard her break open the door to her prison. Which only gave her a limited time until Chen found out.

Unless...

Nalia wasn't all for using dirty tactics like her brother, but in this situation she was in. She would use anything she had, so whenever she could hear a cultist coming her way. She would wait around a corner until one was close enough and she would use her sand powers at their eyes, making them unable to see as she aimed for the back of their knees and necks. Easily knocking them out.

"Who knew Morro's dirty tricks would actually be helpful for me? Doesn't mean I like using them, but rather that then Chen finding out my escape and Clouse using his stupid magic to put me in that... cage again." Nalia listened as she kept going and headed up some stairs.

Somehow Nalia's prison was at a lower level than what she and the others had known. So it would make sense if the others would have had trouble finding her.

Nalia stumbled up the steps as her vision was getting blurry and a bit of sweat was running down her face. "I'm gonna have to a-a-ask my Manager for a-a break after this. I don't think I-I've ever been this exhausted since fighting the Overlord."

Suddenly the sound of something crashing could be heard further up the stairs, gaining her attention. "What the mango was that?"

Getting back on her feet, Nalia continued up the rest of the steps until she got to the wall at the end of the stairs.

Nalia's patient were running thin as her right eye slightly twitched in annoyance. "I'm really starting to hate caves." Raising a fist, she punched the wall, easily breaking it and walking into another hallway.

The sound of voices caught her attention, most of them sounding very familiar. Nalia ran to where the voices came from until she got to a door and slammed it open.

.

.

.

.

.

Tears started forming in the corner of Nalia's eyes as she fell to her knees. "Y-You're alright."

"Lia?!" The ninjas were surprised to see that it was Nalia who opened the door, only to then start crying.

The ninjas rushed over to Nalia, while Garmadon, Nya and the other Masters watched in slight surprise at the state she was in.

"Lia what happened to you?" Cole asked as he helped her up and let her lean on him.

"Hey don't cry, everything will be alright now." Jay patted her back as he tried to comfort her.

"It is good to see you again Nalia, but why are you covered in blood?" Zane questioned while helping her stay on her feet.

Nalia sniffled as she tried to speak, but only now did she notice how emotionally exhausted she was and couldn't form any sentences without crying even more.

"I believe Nalia has been through a lot after Chen captured her." Garmadon walked over and gently patted her head. "But it's good to see that you were able to escape from where he held you captive."

Nya pulled Nalia into a tight hug as she tried comforting her.

"How is it looking with the Roto Jet?" Cole asked when walking over to Karlof.

"Almost there, Karlof needs these last two parts to stick together. Did anyone bring a blowtorch by chance?" said Karlof looking at the others.

"Uhhh..." Everyone glanced at each other, hoping one of them had one.

"What's a b-blowtorch?" Nalia asked, wiping away some tears.

"It's a tool that blows a hot flame which can be used to weld things together." Nya explained.

Nalia wiped away her tears and pulled out of Nya's hug. "I might be able to help."

The Masters looked at each other, a little confused then back at her.

"How?" Tox asked.

"Lia, are you sure you are up for it?" Jay asked, concerned by how exhausted she looked.

"Don't push yourself, you clearly aren't at full strength." said Cole placing a gentle hand on her shoulder.

Nalia shook her head. "We still haven't saved Lloyd, and I don't wanna sit back until I know he is safe." Walking forward and jumping on to the Jet, she turned her Karlof. "What parts do you need help with?"

Karlof like the other Masters gave her a puzzled look before then pointing at the parts. "Karlof need these two parts welded together for this thing to work."

"Got it." Nalia nodded and took a deep breath. Then used her fire breath at the metal parts, the heat from her breath being a lot stronger than Kai's fire.

"She can breathe fire?!" The Masters exclaimed in shock.

*Meanwhile with Kai and Lloyd.*

"Hey, Chen! You forgot one Element. The element of surprise!" shouted Kai as Skylor kicks his staff away.

"You betray me!?" Chen exclaimed in disbelief and shock.

"Runs in the family." Skylor kicks him while Kai grabs the staff.

"Get him!" shouted Chen.

Kai uses Lightning on the cultists and frees Lloyd.

"That was all an act?" Lloyd asked.

"Don't worry. I had it all under control. Well, almost." Clouse releases some venom, but Kai protects Lloyd with Energy. "Ice!" He freezes Clouse.

"Hurry, Kai. You must destroy the staff." Lloyd told him.

"Chen was right. This thing's awesome." Kai uses it against more cultists.

"Kai, it holds too much power! Destroy it!" shouted Lloyd before turning to Skylor concerned. "The power is corrupting him. If we don't get that staff out of his hands—"

"No one is taking my staff! You and Nalia had all that power. Now it's my turn!" Kai goes back to normal. "Ah, what am I saying?" He gets corrupted again. "Nothing I don't already feel!"

"Yes, yes. Embrace the power." said Chen, urging him to accept it.

"I can't... I can't control it." Kai gets corrupted again. "I don't want to control it! I should've been the Green Ninja!"

"No, Kai. Don't!" shouted Lloyd at him.

Suddenly another voice could be heard echoing from the other side of the walls.

(The song she is singing.)

(link to song)

"Somewhere far away awaits your destiny

But you've been led astray

So pave a brand new way

Yeah GUESS WHO'S BACK

EVERYBODY GET DOWN

GUESS WHO'S BACK

Yeah stand UP - stand UP!)~"

Cole flies in with the Jet, and the elemental Masters join in to fight the cultists.

"The hands of fate have caught me

I'M FALLING DOWN

Our hearts were beating on in HARMONY

When you were with me but that's all in the past

Sometimes I think I hear you call my name

Take my breath away

Yeah it pulls me right back

I can't sit back any longer and wait.~"

Zane uses a cultist and whirls him around at other cultists.

Nalia charges at a group of cultists and summoned a few stars, sending them right at them while her voice echoed through the room and trying to focus her healing powers on the elemental Masters and her friends.

"GUESS WHO IS BACK

I'll stare in the eyes of death

GUESS WHO IS BACK

With fire in every breath

GUESS WHO IS BACK

This light hiding in my chest

GUESS WHO IS BACK

Will shattеr this labyrinth

GUESS WHO IS BACK

NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA

GUESS WHO IS BACK

NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA

GUESS WHO IS BACK.~"

Nalia kicked one of the cultists to Neuro who joined in and kicked the guy into another cultist.

"Did anyone order some kung pao?" Cole asked with a smile.

"Zane! Good to see you again, buddy." said Lloyd pulling him into a hug.

"And it's good to be back." said Zane returning the hug.

"WE'LL BE TOGETHER FOR ETERNITY'

Is what you said to me, but all those words werе a trap

This world has much to be desired, it's true

That much is overdue - I'll be the color it needs

I can't sit back any longer and wait!~"

"I even see you guys were able to save Lia. That's good to know, I got worried when Chen told me that he had locked her away." said Lloyd with a relieved sigh and glancing over at Nalia.

"Oh, we didn't save her." Zane told him.

"What? Then how did she get free? Chen said no one would be able to find her." Lloyd asked in confusion.

Cole and Zane looked at each other and then at him.

"She freed herself, though... when she found us she wasn't in the best condition. She still isn't even though you can't see it from here." Cole explained with a concerned look.

"What?!" Lloyd exclaimed.

Kai and Chen race for the staff, but Nalia gets to it first and picks it up. Then gave Chen a cold glare.

"GUESS WHO IS BACK

I'll stare in the eyes of death

GUESS WHO IS BACK

With fire in every breath

GUESS WHO IS BACK

This light hiding in my chest

GUESS WHO IS BACK

Will shatter this labyrinth

GUESS WHO IS BACK

NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA

GUESS WHO IS BACK

NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA

GUESS WHO IS BACK.~"

With full force, Nalia slammed the staff to the ground, breaking it as the room they were all in started shaking.

"No!" Chen yelled out loud while everyone's powers returned.

Karlof smiled and slammed his metal fists together. "Now bad guys in big trouble!"

The ninjas nodded to each other and got in formation.

Nalia smiled as she joined in and raised her voice even louder as the room got surrounded by cosmic energy, making it seem like they were in the galaxy.

"The hands of fate have caught me

I'M FALLING DOWN

YO TELL ME WHAT YOU WANNA DO BABY RIGHT NOW

SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT - SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT NOW

YOU KNOW HOW WE DO

HEY GUYS, SCREAM IT OUT!

BRING IT ON BOY and DON'T LET ME DOWN now...~"

The ninjas smirked and all together shouted out loud. "Ninja, go!"

Using their spinjitzu they began taking out each cultist in the room.

"GUESS WHO IS BACK

I'll stare in the eyes of death

GUESS WHO IS BACK

With fire in every breath

GUESS WHO IS BACK

This light hiding in my chest

GUESS WHO IS BACK

Will shatter this labyrinth

GUESS WHO IS BACK

NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA

GUESS WHO IS BACK

NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA

GUESS WHO IS BACK

NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA

GUESS WHO IS BACK

NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA

Until I reach this light of hope before my eyes.~"

"It always brings tears to my eyes when I see the old gang back together." said Nya with a soft smile while wiping away a tear.

Garmadon notices Clouse and Chen escaped.

"Lia!" Lloyd quickly rushed over to Nalia who had fallen over after having finished singing. But were now completely out of energy even though she had gotten all of her powers back.

The ninjas ran over while the other Masters tied up the defeated cultists.

"By the First Spinjitzu Master, why is she covered in blood?!" Lloyd asked in shock and grew even more worried.

"Lloyd." Garmadon walked over and laid a hand on his shoulder. "Do not panic, we all know that you are worried for her. But she will be alright. Right now she just needs rest."

"But we can't rest until we've stopped Chen and Clouse." said Lloyd looking at his father.

"We will stop them, but right now we should get out of this place." said Garmadon glancing at the room.

"I'll carry her... after the torture Chen put her through. This is the least I can do." said Kai as he picked her up on his back.

"He did what?!" shouted Lloyd with a horrific look.

"... I'll explain everything on the way, just... be prepared because it isn't pretty." said Kai with a sad sigh.

*The Masters trap some Cultists and lead them outside while Kai explained what happened with Nalia in her prison.*

"No sign of Chen. And no sign of Skylor either." said Garmadon as they had been searching for them for a while after coming outside.

"If it weren't for her help, we wouldn't have control of the island. We'll find her, brother." Nya reassured Kai.

"It's funny. I came here to find an old friend..." Kai looked over at Zane that was hanging out with the other Masters.

Zane turns on his funny switch, making everyone laugh. "Hello, my baby. Hello, my honey. Hello, my ragtime gal. Send me a kiss by the wire.~"

"... I just never thought we'd make new ones." said Kai with a sigh.

"We'll find her, Kai. And we'll find Chen." Garmadon told him.

"Send me a kiss by the wire.~" Zane kept singing, and everyone laughed even more.

Lloyd was sitting by some stairs watching the others with a small smile, before glancing at Nalia's sleeping body that was leaning against the wall of the stairs going on.

"I'm sorry I couldn't come and save you when you really needed it, Lia." Lloyd reached out a hand only to hesitate and pulled back. "You must have felt so scared and lonely... if I had just been stronger then maybe I could have gotten to you sooner."

Lloyd clinched his fists as they shock in frustration. "I'm the Green Ninja, I should have done something... yet I was powerless. Just like when we thought we lost Zane." He slammed a fist into the ground as his eyes for a moment turned red. "Maybe... maybe it would be better if you weren't a ninja. And you just focused on being a singer, that way you wouldn't be put in danger again."

A single tear ran down Lloyd's cheek as he getting emotionale and began running the things Kai told them over in his head about what happened to Nalia. "Yeah... after we've caught Chen and Clouse. I'm dropping you from the team... you might not like it, but it's for the best."

Nalia slowly opened her eyes and turned her head to look over at Lloyd's back. "Lloydie?"

Lloyd quickly turned his head when he heard her voice. "Lia, you're awake. How are you feeling? Are you okay?"

Nalia gave a tired smile before noticing something and reached a hand out to his cheek where a single tear had run down. "You aren't normally one for crying, if anything. I'm the big crybaby here as my brother would say." She gave a soft laugh.

Lloyd stared at Nalia for a while without saying anything. As he slowly moved his face towards her.

Though tired Nalia got that funny feeling again as she started blushing with his face getting closer to hers. And without taking any time to think, she quickly moved away.

Lloyd however fell over when she moved away and slammed his face to the ground.

"Ah! Lloyd are you alright? Sorry I didn't mean to, I just... well you see..." Nalia didn't know why she was panicking and getting all flustered about this.

Lloyd lifted his head and rubbed his face. "It's fine, I'm alright." He gave her a small glance. "Lia... I'm sorry I couldn't save you when you really needed it the most. I'm the Green Ninja yet again I failed to do anything."

Nalia gave him a puzzled look. "Don't apologize, Lloydie, while you are the Green Ninja. It doesn't mean you have to be the one to save the day every time." A soft smile grew on her face. "I'm just happy we're all together again. Like the old times." She pulled him into a tight hug.

"R-right together like the old times." said Lloyd with a forced smile while returning the hug, though wasn't sure how to drop the news of him wanting her off the team for her own good.
