As for the person who was sent by the capital, Cia didn't need to wait long because before he could even leave, police knocked on the Chief's door and said that someone was looking for him.
"He said he was from the capital."
Cia looked at the Chief and the Chief shook his head. "I didn't tell anyone. I didn't even know that you are coming."
So that means that the person from the capital had someone monitoring the weeping man's movement.
"Since he's already here, then that's great." At least for Cia, he was going to solve his problem in one go.
The Chief and Cia waited. When the door opened, a man came in.
Looking at him up and down, Cia realized that he looked very ordinary. The type that you'd forget once you see him, the type of face that left no impression.
It was something he didn't expect coming from someone 'powerful'. Even if he doesn't judge appearance-wise, Cia expected at least some kind of domineering aura.
