CHAPTER 21
Bob got inside the station. He was dressed in a good manner but he was not given much attention. Some were talking to the people who had come to them while others were answering the phone but most were sitting without doing anything.
Bob walked over to the constable who was sitting by a table near the door of the captain and he put down the letter of appointment, appointing him as the bureaucrat with control absolute right and control over the case.
The constable seeing the seal, nodded to him with respect as they were only allowed to salute officers in uniform, dignitaries they were asked to protect or bureaucrats or barristers sent to be above them for special cases that needed them to do what they needed to do.
Bob did not have to wait much longer when the constable came out and saluted him as he was told by the captain that they were now under Bob. Bob entered the room and the captain saluted him. Bob nodded to the captain as bureaucrats do not salute.
Bob sat on the chair and nodded to the captain who sat down. He thought about fulfilling the mission faster. He had become a bureaucrat as he wanted the protection that came with it when he became a rich man. He just wanted to remain rich and powerful. Later when he got the position of IB which was a semi-secret, not disclosed but not stopped from spreading, he wanted it. Fulfilling more missions would let him go higher but the question was, should he use his personal resources to fulfill the mission. While it was not forbidden and even supported, he had to think what good uses will he get for climbing the ladder.
He just needed to ensure that he the position of IB is not taken away and only needs to perform the minimum needed missions. As for getting higher control over political arena, that was not something good unless he plans to aim higher. He could do rise higher in another manner by simply becoming rich enough to control a nation. As for becoming the president, the possibility of that was very low even if he was strong as he would need to control the whole nation in one manner or another.
He sighed and planned to walk in both manner. He would get the right to get information from both internal service and secret service. He could get support bureaucrats below him and above him as per his position. That would be more than enough to get many insider information for business and increasing power. Even for international trade, his identity would be more than enough to directly contact any government when his position reached that of inter-state IB.
So he decided to climb higher and hence, he planned to use his personal power to fulfil such mission. So he who had planned to call in some slaves as he had female slaves among the enslaved, to act out as the villager who was cheated in the city as she just needs to stay for another six months before she announces that she got a better job and had to leave for the city.
But before that, he had meet the leaders so he who was ready, said to the captain, "You should take me to the uncle of Sebastian who was injured by Alexander. I will heal him slightly showing my status as a warrior. If they know what is good for them, they should understand when to stop."
The captain poured the green tea and then asked, "What do you think should be done against Alexander. Sebastian has claimed that he shall fire a complaint against Alexander if he does not back down. Sometimes man's dignity would not allow both sides to back off."
Bob nodded and said, "I will take care of it."
The captain asked, "Are you really a warrior as mentioned in the letter of appointment."
Bob simply lifted him using energy as that was the best method to show that he had powers beyond normal human power. Him lifting something else other than them would make them doubt if he had set up the situation and items.
The captain nodded after he was put back from being in the state of floating. He nodded and said, "I will take you to see Paul sir. He is the uncle of Sebastian."
Bob nodded and stood up when Paul stood up and followed him out.
