CHAPTER 11
Bob smiled and looked at Fred who was a national wholesaler introduced to him by James. He smiled and sat on the chair drinking the wine and said, "We have evaluated your rice and for any amount of rice of the same quality provided to us, we are willing to give you 390 per kg. As for the sample pigs you have shown us, we are willing to spend 400 per kg for the whole pig to buy. The meat quality of your pig is really good. I have only seen such high quality product in centenary companies who are specified in producing agricultural items."
Bob smiled and said, "The price of the pork did not surprise me. But are you sure that 390 will get you enough profit ration."
Fred smiled and said, "Such rice can be sold at 450 rubbles per kg at retail. But we need to package it, sell it to retailers based on our trademark as guarantee. If you had already registered a company and added your own trademark, I am sure to give you 420 per kg for the same rice."
Bob smiled and said, "Sure. I am planning to shift into precooked sausage business. Will you accept it."
Fred smiled and said, "Sure. Our company has export business. Not all countries has enough food. Export is controlled by the government but it gains more profit than any other business. But our country will not allow export unless we can produce excess or we are within the permit within the treaty with other nations."
Bob smiled. He did not believe Fred. The farmers mostly commit suicide as they are not given enough price for their goods. They dare not challenge him in similar manner, due to his connection with James. But one thing that stood above all of that was that he had 300 tons of rice. That was not a big amount and neither was it a small amount of rice. He had said that he planned to sell more rice later.
So when he left the meeting, he had an additional 257 million rubbles in his account.
