Chapter 47 - Chapter 47

For the recently notorious Dark Guild Eisenwald , today was destined to be a day recorded in their guild's history.

The guild's history would record it thus:

"Dark Guild Eisenwald, annihilated on February 25, X778.

Destroyed by: Fairy Tail."

*****

"BOOM!"

A golden lightning bolt struck down, hitting a dark Mage.

The electric current surged through his body, frying him to a crisp.

Laxus, his body crackling with electricity, strode forward towards the dark Mages as if they were nothing.

His strength now was indeed already ridiculous.

His claim of having a 100% certainty of passing the S-Class exam wasn't an empty boast.

Even without using 'Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic', relying solely on his Lightning magic, Laxus could exhibit the power of an S-Class Mage.

As he aged, Laxus's magic power talent became increasingly apparent.

And as his fusion with the Dragon Slayer Lacrima grew better, his physical abilities also became stronger.

This man's power was gradually maturing, climbing toward its peak.

These so-called dark Mages of the Eisenwald guild were like a bunch of worthless trash before his savage power.

"Zzzzt!"

Wild currents of electricity surged as Laxus charged ahead, electrocuting a whole group.

The other Mages of Fairy Tail were not to be outdone.

Each displayed their unique magic, engaging the dark Mages of Eisenwald in battle.

The fight was practically a one-sided crushing victory.

Those old guys who spent their days in the guild drinking, smoking and reading porn magazines—seemingly unreliable—actually had some real skills when they got serious.

Macao wielded his purple flame magic, burning the dark Mages until they cried for mercy.

Macao had been on vacation—he'd just welcomed a son named Romeo—but upon hearing the assembly bell, he rushed over without hesitation and chose to join the battle.

Wakaba fought side by side with Macao.

Always with a cigarette in his mouth, he used smoke magic, sending out smoke fists that easily knocked the enemies flying.

Beside them stood an oddly proportioned young man—his body was excessively fat, yet his limbs were remarkably slender.

In his hands, he held a paintbrush and palette.

As he painted several wild boars onto his own body, the creatures seemed to come alive, leaping off his skin and charging headlong into the Dark Guild mages.

This was Reedus, a user of Drawing Magic.

Others included Joey, a man built like a mountain of muscle and Gangy, who could transform his right arm into an iron hound.

Each of them possessed extraordinary skills.

At sixteen, Joey looked nothing like his age—his exaggerated musculature was downright absurd.

He fought with bone-crushing punches, a style that suited Marco's tastes perfectly.

The two often sparred, though it usually ended with Joey getting pummeled.

"BOOM!"

Marco sent a Dark Mage flying with a single punch as they stormed into the main hall of the Eisenwald guild.

This Dark Guild was hidden deep in a desolate forest, so remote it didn't even appear on maps.

It had taken them quite a while to track it down.

But the guild hall itself was surprisingly spacious—probably because they could build however they wanted in such a secluded place.

"Whoooosh!"

The moment they stepped inside, a fierce gale of magic power howled towards the Fairy Tail members.

A middle-aged man leaped forward, calm and composed, raising his hands to summon a massive Defense magic array.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

The magical tempest crashed against the barrier.

The man holding the magic circle gradually tensed, his expression growing serious.

"Reinhardt, can you handle this or not? Can't even hold off some kid?"

Seeing this, Macao and Wakaba teased the man maintaining the barrier, their tones relaxed.

None of them took the "Eisenwald" guild seriously.

It wasn't that they were underestimating their opponents—it was just that Eisenwald hadn't put up much of a fight.

They had steamrolled through with ease.

Master Makarov hadn't even lifted a finger yet and Gildarts wasn't present either.

Shortly after Marco's birthday, the man had left again, missing this raid.

Fairy Tail hadn't even gone all out, and already, the Eisenwald guild had crumbled—only their guild master remained, putting up a desperate last stand.

"BOOM!"

Reinhardt's magic circle shattered under the assault and the man was sent flying backward by the magical winds.

Marco dashed forward, steadying Reinhardt before he could fall.

"Leave this guy to me, old man," Marco said, his gaze lifting toward the floating figure above them—Erigor, the young guild master of Eisenwald.

Wind-attribute magic power swirled around the man as he balanced effortlessly on a massive scythe, hovering midair with dramatic flair.

Erigor was young, likely not even thirty.

Black tattoos marked the skin beneath his eyes and his flamboyant silver-white hair stood out starkly.

His hands were wrapped in bandages, his bare torso covered in intricate tattoos.

He wore a robe resembling a skirt and a pair of flip-flops—his entire outfit was as ostentatious as his demeanor.

"Be careful, Marco. This guy isn't weak," Reinhardt warned, his expression serious.

Though unharmed, he didn't stop Marco from stepping forward.

Although Marco was the youngest mage present, no one in Fairy Tail would underestimate him.

Everyone had witnessed Marco's efforts and growth, especially over the past six months.

He had taken on numerous quests to subjugate magical beasts, completing them swiftly and flawlessly—proof enough of his strength.

Age was no issue here.

"Why should we leave it to you?" While the others had no intention of competing with Marco, Laxus was different.

He deliberately stepped forward to challenge him.

"Crack!"

A bolt of golden lightning descended, striking straight at Erigor, who was showing off in the sky.

"I can't stand this guy either! Let me teach him a lesson!"

Laxus had no regard for fairness—he attacked outright, clearly, he was skilled at drawing aggro and stealing kills!

Erigor, who had been posturing midair, swiftly dodged with a surge of wind magic, evading Laxus's lightning strike.

The future 'Death God' and current Eisendwald guild master now wore an expression as dark as coal, his eyes filled with malice.

Faced with the two brash youngsters—Laxus and Marco—who were so eager to fight him, he wanted nothing more than to tear them apart.

These insolent brats had the audacity to look down on him!
