Chapter 90 - EPISODE 90 — Whispers That Reach the Heavens

After the Storm

The warm sunset bathed the battlefield in orange and gold.

After Bernetter's death, his presence completely vanished—no aura, no echo. The land stood unnaturally calm, like a breath held before an inevitable storm.

Shammroy stood before Bernetter's lifeless body, posture straight, authority cold and absolute. His eyes showed no triumph, only quiet certainty.

The Valkerio elite leader and his warriors remained frozen, unable to process what they had just witnessed. Their minds failed to grasp how everything had ended the moment Shammroy arrived.

Silence pressed down heavier than the battle ever did.

The Broken Captain

From a distance, the Terion group reached their fallen captain.

Elvein ,worried,

"What happened to you?"

Terion ,broken, coughing,

"Nothing… I just got betrayed by my own closed mind".

Blood stained his lips as he tried to straighten himself. Elvein, Aseri, and Roven quickly moved in, lifting his arms and resting them over their shoulders.

Step by step, they guided him toward the battlefield.

And suddenly—

Something flickered inside Shammroy's mind.

His expression shifted.

Without another glance at the elites or battlefield , he turned and sprinted toward Bernetter's den.

Relief in the Shadows

Shammroy leapt through the shattered opening of the cave and landed inside.

The sight stopped him.

His team — Querion, Ferin, and Kaizer lay sleeping peacefully, their breathing steady, their auras faint but alive.

Shammroy ,relieved, whispering to himself,

"Hush… nothing happened to them. I'm glad."

His shoulders eased .

He walked toward them and nudged them awake.

In an instant, all three jolted up in guard.

Querion ,alert,

"Where is he?"

Kaizer ,confused,

"What happened?"

Ferin concerned,

"Is it morning already?"

Shammroy stared at Ferin for a moment, almost amused—this is what you ask now?

Then he waved it off casually.

Shammroy light, teasing,

"Oye, oye! Wake up already. It's evening—let's go and grab something to eat."

The tension dissolved slightly, though none of them realized how close they had come to disaster.

Names Spoken in Fear

Back on the battlefield, the Terion group and the Valkerio elite warriors stood in silence.

The elite leader lowered his voice, almost reverent.

Elite Leader ,whispering,

"Keyokthai… Shammroy…"

Elite Warrior 1 ,uneasy,

"Who is he? Why did he interfere in this?"

The old leader's eyes burned—not with anger, but recognition.

A recognition of his traumatized past or dream.

Terion, leaning on his teammates, exhaled with a faint smile.

Terion broken, impressed,

"You know… his battle speed and control are different, like his power is just getting like water —he never neither concentrated nor forced his energy to release . It just came out like ….."

A charming grin formed despite his wounds.

Terion lightly,

" Huh! I think… I just became his fan."

Aseri ,teasing,

"Hey! He's a fan of someone now."

Elvein ,smirking,

"Yeah! Is he that much that impress you , terion !."

Terion nodded.

Roven said nothing.

His eyes remained locked on the place where Shammroy stood moments ago, as if trying to understand the presence that rewrote the battlefield itself.

The Eternal Conclave Awakens

Far away, beyond worlds—

The Eternal Conclave glowed.

A floating sanctuary of crystalline thrones drifted above swirling galaxies, suspended in endless cosmos. Star-forged ceilings curved over the Grand Hall, carved from obsidian and gold, illuminated by floating crystals humming with ancient power.

Five kings sat upon their thrones.

The King of Eclipse Nexus

The King of Origin Nexus

The King of Grave Nexus

The King of Oblivion Nexus

The King of Abyssal Nexus

The Grave Nexus King spoke first.

Grave Nexus King ,grave,

"Everyone, this concerns one matter. In Valkerio village, the cosmic beast Orian was controlled by someone. Someone who belongs neither to us nor to any cosmic order. An outsider ….. an intruder."

As everyone's eyes dimmed and thinking about the situation they heard, footsteps echoed across the grand hall .

A highly ranked soldier stepped forward, whispering into the Eclipse King's ear.

SS-Rank Soldier , urgent,

My king… the rebellion Bernetter's presence has vanished.

The Eclipse Nexus King clenched his hand.

Grave Nexus King, focused,

" What happened ?"

Eclipse Nexus King ,cold,

"You're right, Grave King. Someone is interfering. My creation, bernetter's soul disappeared in the same place. He was stronger than three cosmic beasts. I was training him—preparing him for the future.….Someone... had ended him."

The Oblivion Nexus King leaned forward.

Oblivion Nexus King ,cautious,

"If someone can control a cosmic beast and eliminate a rebel like him… we cannot relax. If a being that holds and has them of both powers on it and still wins , one day—it will stand against us."

The Origin Nexus King nodded.

Origin Nexus King ,serious,

Agreed. No ordinary being could do this—especially after that incident years ago, it made everything or every being to be different and stronger than their actual origin supposed to be . If anyone, it only could be him… but he was supposed to be dead.

His gaze shifted.

Origin Nexus King , concerned,

"Abyssal Nexus King… we must be cautious."

All eyes turned.

The Abyssal King remained silent, unreadable—as always.

The Supreme Gods Stir

Elsewhere, in the vast golden hall of the Supreme Kings—

Five cosmic gods sat upon thrones of pure starlight. Their auras bent space itself.

Supreme King 1 ,concerned,

"We have a problem. Someone has taken control of our cosmic beast Orian."

Supreme king 2, surprised,

" He was supposed to be dead as per your order ? First summon the warrior."

Supreme king 1, cautious,

" That's what I said , we have a problem! Because the soldier's presence has vanished —no presence, no sense of his life."

Supreme king 2 became speechless and whisper,

" He slaughtered ….. three hundred …. Celestial soldiers?"

Supreme King 5 ,cold authority,

"Who could dare that much disaster to us?"

Supreme King 1,

"Unknown. But this is a warning. It happened once before… and now it is happening again."

Supreme King 3 grim,

"We neglected it last time—and lost our colleague. If we ignore this now, it will become a threat— a threat that refuses to fade , haunting us to the things we are going to do with the humans."

A pause followed.

A name left unspoken—but felt by all.

Eyes of the Nobles

Back in Valkerio City—

Inside the grand palace of the Mayyen noble clan, laughter filled the halls until footsteps echoed sharply.

The family head's secretary bowed.

Secretary ,urgent,

"Sir, the cosmic beast in the village has gone missing. The rebellion Bernetter has been slaughtered."

The father's expression darkened.

Father ,shocked,

"What? So much happened these days then?"

Secretary,

"Yes, sir."

Father ,calculating,

"Who could have done this?"

Secretary,

"No clear confirmation yet."

The father smiled—a proud, dangerous grin.

Father , commanding,

"Send our men to investigate. Whoever did this… I want to meet them."

The Name That Echoes Everywhere

The sunset finally faded.

Across worlds—

Among warriors, kings, gods, and nobles—

Every gaze turned toward a single name.

Keyokthai Shammroy.

The episode ends.
