Reith wanted to go to his room, but then he realized he still had one more thing to do.
He took a turn at the corner of the hall and walked into the classroom.
Right there, sitting and writing in a book, was Master Lu.
From the expression on his face, the man's focus was entirely on his work.
He didn't even notice when Reith had moved to stand in front of him.
"Good day, Master Lu. I'm glad to see you are doing fine," Reith said with a wide smile.
Lu raised his head immediately and shot up from his seat.
Words weren't enough to express his current feelings.
He went around his desk and stood in front of Reith.
Surprisingly, the big man pulled Reith into a massive hug.
"I wouldn't have forgiven myself if you had died. I had brought you into your own death. I'm sorry, Kid," Lu said, and the hug became deeper.
Reith nodded his head. "Thank you, Master Lu. But I don't think I'm able to breathe right now," he said with a strained voice, tapping the arm of the man.
