"Oh~ I see. That must be really painful for you, huh?"
Ōtsutsuki Tsukihime, whose heart was as pure as a little white bunny, easily believed Gin's nonsense. Her white eyes were full of sympathy, and even her tone became cautious, as if afraid of hurting the fragile heart of a blind man a second time.
"Sorry, I shouldn't have asked that…"
"It's fine. I've gotten used to it."
Wrapped in her long robe, Ōtsutsuki Tsukihime had completely dropped her guard. The curly-haired boy putting on an act could feel a warm surge rushing through his nose—it was almost unbearable.
"Sigh… I'm sorry. Even though you're blind, for the sake of the revival of the Ōtsutsuki clan, I'll have to ask you to endure for a while."
Seeing the warm smile on Gin's handsome face, Tsukihime felt a twinge in her heart. This man's story was just too tragic. Not only did he lose his sight at the peak of youth, but now he was stuck on the moon, and would have to sow seeds here till old age.
It was enough to move people to tears.
"Haha? Don't worry about it! I'm a ninja, after all. Just leave everything to me!"
Gin was already blinded by the two snowy white peaks in front of him and couldn't hear anything else. Looking at Tsukihime's apologetic face, he quickly expressed how richly rewarded he already felt. No matter what task she needed done, he could do it perfectly.
Disliking how stuffy the robe was, and believing the man in front of her couldn't see anyway, Tsukihime casually tossed aside the robe, revealing her body dampened with sweat.
Gin's supposedly blind eyes were instantly filled with life.
Right in front of him, less than a meter away, Tsukihime was fanning herself. Her tight camisole and shorts were soaked in sweat. Gin silently repeated "see no evil" in his heart and lowered his head in reflection. This explosive scene dropped a pink bomb into his brain and instantly broke the dam in his nose.
"Eh? Why are you getting a nosebleed?"
Tsukihime, who had just loosened her neckline to fan herself, noticed Gin's calm face suddenly gushing blood like a floodgate opened. Alarmed, she rushed over, concerned.
"Cough… probably just reacting badly to the environment. It'll pass in a few days."
Snapping back to reality, Gin realized he was on the verge of becoming the most disgraceful transmigrator in history—dying from excessive blood loss. He quickly tried to stabilize himself and dug through his pouch for something to stop the bleeding.
Feeling a soft fabric, he figured it must be a handkerchief and pulled it out to press against his nose.
Wait... is this Hikari's handkerchief? Why does it smell so nice...?
"Wait a moment, let me heal you—"
Seeing Gin bleeding so badly, Tsukihime panicked. She didn't care about modesty anymore and stepped forward, letting a green healing glow appear in her hand. But her steps suddenly froze the moment she saw the item Gin pulled out—and the healing chakra in her hand abruptly ceased.
In the next instant, the green glow turned into a roaring blue flame, bursting with destructive force, and surged toward Gin.
"You little thief, die!"
"Huh?"
Startled by the sudden attack, Gin tilted his body and narrowly dodged the furious blast. His dark eyes were filled with confusion as he stared at the enraged Tsukihime who launched a second attack. He curiously asked:
"My acting shouldn't have had any holes. How'd you figure me out?"
Gin had immense confidence in his acting—after all, he once won third prize in his elementary school drama club. Not to mention his self-directed and acted masterpiece Uchiha the Miserable. How could this seemingly naive white-eyed girl see through him?
"You scoundrel! Give back my bunny!"
Tsukihime's furious strikes were riddled with flaws. Gin easily dodged them all. Her white eyes were burning with rage as she pointed a trembling finger at Gin and shouted:
"I actually felt sorry for you! But now, you'll know the wrath of the Goddess of the Rabbit!"
"What—? Wait, the hell?!"
Following her finger, Gin looked down in confusion and saw the item in his hand.
As soon as he saw the unfamiliar "handkerchief," his eyes widened. He quickly unfolded it—ignoring his nosebleed—and was shocked.
"A bunny?!"
The pink fabric had a cute chibi bunny stitched on it, soft to the touch and with a faint unfamiliar scent.
Inhaling the remaining scent from the fabric, Gin frowned slightly and waved the handkerchief around, asking:
"It's just a handkerchief. Do you really need to go that far?"
"DIE!"
Tsukihime's face was redder than blood. Watching Gin waving around her bunny handkerchief had obliterated any rationality in her mind.
She now had only one thought—erase this man from existence so the secret would never spread.
"Tch, and she's supposed to be the clan head? What a petty woman."
Gin couldn't help but glance at her impressive chest, lamenting how her generosity and, well, her other assets clearly didn't match.
After hearing this provocation, Tsukihime fully entered berserk mode. Her whole body erupted with blue chakra. The pressure from her white eyes made Gin feel genuine danger.
BOOM!
With a wave of her hand, giant chakra fists formed from blue energy and slammed toward Gin with unstoppable force.
Feeling the subtle power in the attacks, Gin quickly used Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique) to dodge. The chakra fists smashed into the heavy door behind him.
With a deafening crash, the one-meter-thick door collapsed, revealing a figure behind it.
Ōtsutsuki Biluo hadn't left after stepping out. Worried about Gin, she had her ear pressed to the door trying to eavesdrop.
Please, let me feel like I'm part of this!
She'd been listening for a while in silence when the argument broke out. Just as she was about to plead with Tsukihime not to go too far—BOOM—the door fell, and there she stood, ear to the wall, in a very awkward pose.
"Huh? You're that noisy when serving someone?"
Biluo awkwardly retracted her ear and asked innocently, pretending the awkwardness was all theirs.
"Ōtsutsuki Biluo! Capture him now!"
Still not completely lost to rage, Tsukihime barked out the order, gritting her teeth.
"Huh? Clan head, don't play this kind of 'play'! Gin-sama is fragile. Please, be gentle."
Biluo's mind whirled with confused thoughts. She finally chose what she thought was the most reasonable route, earnestly advising:
"Clan head… I think you've been stuck indoors too long. Less reading, more real practice."
"You two were in on it together?!"
Now completely losing control, Tsukihime's eyes glowed blue as she glared at Biluo.
So we had a traitor among us, huh.
"W-Well, I wanted to... but I thought this was public property!"
Biluo scratched her head nervously. Sure, she'd considered using the "public transport" privately… but now that the situation was exposed, there was no chance of putting a lock on it.
"Pathetic."
Tsukihime's patience was gone. Her white hand lit up with the same deadly blue glow, and a devastating chakra sphere formed in her palm. This time, her target wasn't just Gin—but Biluo as well.
Biluo stood firm, even as the glow in Tsukihime's hand intensified. She knew that if she backed down now, Gin would die.
Gin, meanwhile, curiously tilted his head.
"Hey hey hey, shouldn't we dodge?"
"There's nowhere left to dodge. Gin-sama, please… let me protect your smile."
"Watch closely—this is my transformation!"
The Moon Arc enters final countdown~
