Chapter 126 - Chapter 126: Since We Can’t Talk, I’ll Just Join In

"Hey hey hey! Can everyone hear me?!"

"Stop fighting, stop fighting!"

Gin's voice was barely a buzz beneath the thunderous clash of the two giants. His attempts at mediation were completely drowned out. Seeing it was useless, he lowered his hands in defeat — the two girls were fully immersed in battle, and a tiny figure like him had no chance of stopping them.

"No choice... I'll have to use that."

Sighing, Gin turned and found Kagami trembling behind a boulder.

"Chiri, take those two idiots and get as far away as you can."

"Gin-san, aren't you coming with us?"

At the sound of her master's voice, Kagami looked up, her dirt-smeared face resembling a frightened kitten.

"Do you believe in light?"

Instead of answering her question, Gin dropped this bizarre and cryptic line.

"Huh?"

Kagami was even more confused now. Her master's brain worked in mysterious ways, and she couldn't keep up.

"Light as in... senior Hikari?"

She tried to answer carefully. Her tiny brain couldn't make sense of any other connection.

"Sigh... you kids with no childhoods. One day, I'll show you what I mean."

Gin shook his head, lamenting the incomplete childhoods of these natives.

Then he looked up at the two towering giants battling in the background. The laziness in his dead-fish eyes vanished, replaced by a brilliant gleam.

He turned, leaving Kagami with the image of a reliable back and a voice more serious than ever:

"Team member Chiri, evacuate the civilians! I'll go check the front!"

Leaving behind this utterly confusing order, Gin ran straight toward the battlefield without looking back.

Kagami: (Huh?)

"This way feels more ceremonial."

As he ran, Gin looked back on his performance and gave himself a satisfied nod. Then, remembering something, he clapped his hands together, and pale green light began to glow.

A wooden branch extended from his palm, rapidly shifting shape under his guidance. In mere seconds, it transformed into a peculiar-looking flashlight.

"Even if time is tight, we can't cut corners!"

He stroked the rough wood with pride. Far from being disappointed by its crude form, Gin felt his sense of purpose soar.

Clutching his freshly-made transformation device, Gin ran into the very heart of the battle between the two girls.

"Whew... first time doing this, a bit nervous."

He took a deep breath, steeled himself, and raised the flashlight high above his head. His gaze became sharp and righteous.

"I want to see everyone truly smile from the heart — so watch closely! My henshin (transformation)!"

ヽ(ω)ゝ

As his finger pressed the button, an intense blue light burst forth from Gin's body, so dazzling that everyone nearby turned to look.

"That's... Gin?!"

Both girls stopped mid-attack, drawn toward the bright spectacle.

Hikari's Mangekyō easily pierced through the light and recognized Gin's face. Mito, using Kagura Shingan, also identified the figure standing at the source of the glow.

"The child trafficker guy?"

As both were frozen in confusion, a deafening shout echoed from the glowing center. Though they didn't understand the words, a primal instinct told them they were being targeted by something terrifying.

Gin stood firmly as torrents of Mokuton (Wood Release) power surged outward. Thick branches erupted from the earth, wrapping around him, fusing together in sequence and rising high. Dust and smoke exploded from the construction.

"Wash socks!"

In no time, a massive humanoid figure rose from the smoke. With a single sweep of its arm, a powerful gust scattered the dust.

Boom boom boom~

Both girls instinctively raised their arms to block the blast. The debris slammed into their giants like rain on a tin roof, creating a deafening, crackling sound.

Feeling an unknown pressure, the two slowly lowered their arms and stared in disbelief at the new figure — and simultaneously took a step back.

A towering blue giant now stood in the middle of the battlefield. Though not bulky, its physique radiated raw strength. Its plain wooden surface gave off a mysterious, sacred feeling.

Its head had a ridge that stretched down to a trapezoidal mouth. Its eyes were long ovals like goose eggs. Despite its weird face, the aura it exuded felt holy — almost Buddha-like.

Massive pectorals and trapezius muscles stood out clearly. Just its posture alone made it seem like an unshakable mountain.

In the center of its chest was a protruding orb — and inside it stood Gin, trembling with excitement.

"Yes! It's perfect!"

Gin clutched his forehead, barely containing his joy. He hadn't expected his first attempt at this jutsu to be such a complete success.

That's right. Once again, our dear friend Yamato came through — the Mokuton user who unknowingly donated his technique to Gin. If Gin ever met the guy, he'd definitely buy him dinner.

Mokuton: Mokujin no Jutsu (Wood Release: Wood Human Technique)

In the original series, everyone who used this jutsu summoned a different version of the wooden giant.

Hashirama's was a dragon-riding monk. Yamato's, possessed by White Zetsu, summoned a miniature version of the True Several Thousand Hands.

This showed that the Mokujin's appearance varied based on the user's will.

So Gin had molded his own Mokujin into the image he'd always dreamed of — and it worked!

"Kyahaha, you two naughty girls... Ready to be punished by justice?"

Gin controlled the wooden giant, striking a classic "Ultraman taunt" pose toward the girls.

Come on! Try me!

"Ugh, why does Gin look so punchable like this?"

Inside her sakura-colored Susanoo, Hikari puffed her cheeks angrily. Her darkened eyes smoldered even deeper.

Ultraman-style provocation — a classic move.

"Oh, so that really was the child trafficker. I'm glad he's okay."

Mito was relieved, patting her chest in relief. The guy was fine after all.

"But... why do I suddenly want to bully him?"

She, too, fell victim to the Ultraman taunt.

"Waaahhh~!"

From a relatively safe distance, Chiri, Kin, and Gin stared in awe at the new blue giant, mouths wide open.

"Bro! That guy's so cool!"

The usually calm Kin was the first to snap out of it, his eyes full of admiration. He grabbed his stunned brother and shouted,

"Damn, that's next-level cool!"

Gin responded with the highest male praise possible.

Kagami: Sorry, not my type.

"Gin!!! Why did you leave me alone?!"

The half-blackened Hikari struck first. Raising her machete, she lunged at Gin, whose wooden giant was now standing with arms crossed in a classic pose. The crimson blade shimmered coldly, too fast for Mito to react.

"Watch out!"

Though Mito also wanted to beat up Gin, she didn't have the killing intent Hikari's dark persona did.

Seeing the pink Susanoo's massive machete swing down, Mito shot golden chains from her giant's hands to stop the impending disaster.

Clap!

Just before the chains caught up, a pair of massive blue hands appeared and clapped down on the blade, catching it perfectly mid-air.

Ultraman Technique: Bare-Handed Blade Catch

"Rrghhh~"

Hikari gritted her teeth and poured chakra into her Susanoo, her cheeks turning red with effort — but she couldn't budge the machete from those simple wooden hands.

"Disobedient children... must be taught justice."

Gin chuckled. His Mokujin clamped tighter and, with a twist, yanked the machete from Hikari's Susanoo.

His scarlet Sharingan spun. Chakra flowed from the Mokujin into the blade, initiating Ultraman Assimilation.

The pink machete shimmered red, and then...

"Huh?"

The once fearsome blade had turned into a... pointer stick.

Everyone fell into stunned silence.

Swish swish~

Unbothered, Gin flicked the pointer with satisfaction. His wooden giant stared sternly at the immobilized pink Susanoo.

He waved, and countless wooden branches erupted from the ground, tightly binding Hikari's Susanoo.

Now fully dominated by her dark persona, Hikari's face filled with unease. She could feel her chakra being steadily drained.

"What are you doing?! I'm Uchiha Hikari!"

Completely immobilized, she shouted as the wooden giant approached, pointer in hand.

"Keh keh keh... I know. But in our house, naughty children get punished."

Gin smirked as he manipulated the Mokujin. The wooden giant flipped the Susanoo over, exposing its most "shameful" spot.

The pink pointer raised high.

SMACK!

"Still gonna disobey?"

"Uwahhh!"

SMACK!

"Don't understand human speech?"

"I-I won't do it again!"

SMACK!

"Then why are you still being annoying?"

"I said I won't! Why are you still hitting me?!"

"First time using this, gotta iron out the bugs."

"I'm done! I quit!"

Hikari's dark persona couldn't handle the humiliation and retreated deep into her consciousness.

As her true self resurfaced, the massive Susanoo crumbled and vanished with the wind, leaving a completely bewildered Hikari lying on a tree branch in a deeply shameful position.

"AAAHHH?!"

Feeling the phantom pain of her elevated backside, she screamed with embarrassment, face redder than a tomato.

"Hmph. From now on, every time I see you — house rules apply."

Gin chuckled with satisfaction, gently placing the screaming girl on the ground so she could cool off.

Then he turned the Mokujin around and looked at the golden giant, who had been quietly watching the whole time. His long oval eyes were calm and expressionless.

"You."

"Trafficker-san! Hurry, the white-haired guy is coming!"

Got it! Everything's here now! The tokusatsu vibes are maxed out!

This is just for fun, don't take it too seriously, folks~
