Chapter 63 - Chapter 63 – Bule Unrepentant

A large group of people arrived at Soto City, heading straight for the red-light district.

What surprised Han Feng was that this kind of place was open day and night without pause.

Out of curiosity, Han Feng tried to go inside, only to find that Dai Mubai and Tang San were frozen in place, not moving at all.

Han Feng and Ma Hongjun looked at them with puzzled expressions. Seeing their red faces and awkward demeanor, Oscar immediately caught on.

"Heh! Some people are just afraid their wives will scold them and make them kneel on a washboard when they get home!"

Exposed by Oscar, Tang San gave a sheepish smile.

"If Xiao Wu found out I went to a place like this, she'd definitely get mad…"

Han Feng rolled his eyes and turned to Dai Mubai.

"What's your problem then? Don't tell me you're some innocent little boy too? Who doesn't know about your womanizing escapades?"

Too lazy to argue with the socially clueless Han Feng, Dai Mubai just snorted:

"What do you know!? I've turned over a new leaf!"

"Tsk!"

Han Feng clicked his tongue, realizing there was no hope of exploring further. He shrugged and asked helplessly,

"So what now? We just stand here like five clueless idiots?"

"No need! He's coming out!"

Before Han Feng finished speaking, Ma Hongjun suddenly leapt up excitedly, his pudgy finger pointing at a middle-aged man in shorts and slippers. His small eyes burned with anger.

"It's him!"

Tang San's brows furrowed the moment he saw the man, instinctively muttering to himself.

Dai Mubai and the others looked at Tang San in confusion.

"You know him?"

Wasn't this guy just a lecher? How could Tang San know him?

Noticing the suspicion in their eyes, Tang San quickly explained:

"It's not what you think! His name is Bule. A few years ago, when he was still a Spirit Elder, he used to lure female students at the elementary academy where Xiao Wu and I studied. Xiao Wu beat him up back then, but it looks like he hasn't learned his lesson."

"Wait… Xiao Wu beat up a Spirit Elder years ago!?"

Dai Mubai and the others were wide-eyed in disbelief.

Tang San recalled the scene with a wry smile.

"It's a long story… a very long story."

"What's the big deal?"

Han Feng figured Tang San was too embarrassed to recount the details of Xiao Wu's methods, so he stepped in:

"Look at the guy—even though he's a Spirit Ancestor, his steps are unstable, his eyes are swollen… clearly worn out by alcohol and women. His spirit power quality is worse than most Spirit Elders. Apart from his level, he's nothing to worry about."

Dai Mubai and Oscar thought about it and agreed, letting the matter drop.

Meanwhile, eager for revenge, Ma Hongjun had already rushed forward and confronted Bule, shouting arrogantly:

"Remember me, you bastard!?"

A trace of surprise flashed across Bule's sleazy face. He adjusted his sunglasses and stared at Ma Hongjun's still-swollen face for a while before laughing with disdain:

"Oh, it's you, kid!"

"Hmph!"

Ma Hongjun remembered the beating he took and instinctively felt a bit nervous. After a cold snort, he fell silent.

Seeing his cowardly posture, Dai Mubai and the others walked up with annoyed expressions. Dai Mubai smacked the back of Ma Hongjun's head:

"Pathetic."

"Oh? So you dared to come back because you brought backup, huh?"

Bule glanced at the group, sneering. In his eyes, even if Han Feng and the others were geniuses, they looked under twenty. If they were Spirit Masters already, that was impressive enough.

Just five Spirit Masters? Bule was confident he could handle that.

"Come at me together! Perfect timing—I'm broke anyway."

Bule gestured provocatively, his sarcasm blatant.

Seeing him mock them so brazenly, Dai Mubai smirked and stepped aside, pushing Han Feng to the front. Tang San and the others also looked at Bule with strange expressions, letting Han Feng take the lead.

Han Feng rolled his eyes.

"Do you guys even care how I feel? Just looking at him makes my cleanliness obsession flare up, and you still want me to talk to him? Even if I did, are you sure he'd understand me?"

Everyone broke out in a cold sweat.

Clearly, Han Feng's trash-talking skills were maxed out—he claimed he didn't want to speak, but his voice was loud enough for Bule to hear everything.

Sure enough, Bule—still a Spirit Ancestor after all—heard Han Feng clearly. After thinking it over, his face turned red with rage.

"You little brat! What did you say!?"

Seeing how easily Bule got riled up, Han Feng lost interest in the game. He raised his Heavenly Shield and said to Dai Mubai and Tang San:

"Let's finish this quickly. Master will probably call us back in an hour."

"I'll lead the tactics, Mubai will be on offense, Han Feng you handle defense, and Oscar, you focus on support!"

Without hesitation, Tang San issued commands. But before he could finish, Dai Mubai let out a wild laugh, his tiger roar shaking the air. Activating his first and third spirit skills, the white-haired Dai Mubai charged in.

"No need for all that! I can take care of him myself!"

Han Feng and Tang San just shrugged. They trusted Dai Mubai's strength.

"Hmph! Foolish kid!"

Seeing Dai Mubai's two yellow and one purple spirit rings, Bule's pupils contracted—but only for a moment. He still believed Dai Mubai was overconfident. If the others had helped him, Bule might have been in trouble, but now…

Just one Spirit Elder? Bule could handle that.

Puffed up with a Spirit Ancestor's pride, Bule didn't even activate his martial form. His first white spirit ring lit up, and two large shields appeared, crashing toward Dai Mubai.

Han Feng sneered inwardly:

"Idiot!"

It was obvious Bule hadn't fought seriously in a long time. Judging someone's strength just by their spirit rings? He didn't even notice Dai Mubai's nearly boiling spirit power.

In a real fight, unless the gap was massive, who would be so careless!?

"Ha! You're the fool here!"

As expected, Dai Mubai's eyes flashed with anger at being underestimated. His second spirit skill launched—but instead of attacking, he grabbed it left and right. The Gengjin Tian Sha Halberd reappeared, easily smashing Bule's shields.

Bule panicked. At that moment, Dai Mubai sneered and charged straight at him.

The halberd loomed in front of him. No matter how dull he was, Bule could feel the overwhelming force it carried. Under Dai Mubai's fierce pressure, his legs gave out, and he almost dropped to his knees.

Dai Mubai sneered in contempt. Right before striking, he dispersed the halberd and slammed his palm into Bule's shoulder. The force made Bule's eyes roll back, and he passed out cold.

"Trash!"

Dai Mubai scoffed, releasing his White Tiger King transformation and withdrawing his spirit. He picked up Bule with one hand and tossed him in front of Ma Hongjun.

"Do what you want with him."

"That move of yours was impressive—controlled perfectly. Been practicing a lot lately?"

Han Feng came over and chuckled.

"You're not the only one making progress,"

Dai Mubai raised his eyebrows proudly.

Seeing the two of them, Oscar and Tang San suddenly felt a surge of urgency. They needed to train harder too.

As for Ma Hongjun…

He ignored Han Feng and the others. He tied up Bule, smiled maliciously, and ignited a wicked flame—the signature of the Evil Fire Phoenix. Quietly, he moved it toward a very specific spot...

"AAAAHHHH!!!"

A few seconds later, a blood-curdling scream echoed. Only then did the others realize how Ma Hongjun had chosen to take revenge on Bule.

Oscar twitched at the corners of his mouth, swallowed hard, and hesitated:

"Maybe we should just… cut it off? It's already charred…"

"Don't ask me. I didn't see anything. I don't know anything."

Han Feng shook his head vigorously, giving a full-on denial in triplicate.
