Subject: The Weave
The Weave is the metaphysical lattice that governs all living fate within this realm.
Every being is assigned a fate thread—a tether of light, color, and resonance.
Threads are shaped by choice, bloodline, prophecy, and divine law.
Threads can be anchored to institutions, people, locations, and artifacts.
Major nodes of the Weave are known as Anchors — shrines, thrones, rulers, chosen bloodlines, or relics that stabilize fate in regions.
Thread activity determines:
A person's lifespan
Their natural affinities
Interpersonal relationships
Probability of key events
Severing a thread is not just death.
It is erasure from the Weave's design.
To sever fate is to remove a person not only from the timeline, but from destiny itself. There is no afterlife. No reincarnation. No divine justice.Only silence.
The Weave cannot repair cut threads. The space left behind becomes threadless—a wound in reality that does not heal.
Subject: Fragment Ledger
Upon severing a fate thread, fragments of that individual's will, emotion, or intent may be absorbed.
These become Fragments, stored in your Fragment Ledger, a sub-component of the Loom Interface.
Fragments have the following properties:
Each has a Name, Quote, Stat Effect, and Corruption Load.
Multiple fragments may influence the same stat. Repetition is dangerous.
Certain rare fragments can evolve into passive traits or permanent alterations.
Example Entry:
Fragment Gained: Cruel Opportunity
"Strike not when you must—but when you can, without risk."
Effect: +2 Scheming
Corruption Load: 3%
All fragments are echoes of fate's resistance to severance. You absorb what they fought to protect.
Subject: Corruption Load
Each severance adds to your Corruption Load — a cumulative metric representing how much of fate's residue now clings to your soul.
Effects of Corruption Load:
Behavioral influence based on absorbed fragments
Possible hallucinations or fate-echo projections
Increased aggression, paranoia, or detachment
At thresholds, system warnings will trigger:
20%: Minor behavior shifts
40%: Loom Interference
60%: Personality drift
80%: Identity instability
100%: You are no longer yourself
Important:Fragment synergy (e.g., multiple fragments that boost the same stat) increases both potential and danger.Anchor Bonds may reduce or slow Corruption accumulation.
Note: Anchor Bonds
Certain individuals (e.g., Elira) exist outside the Weave. If they form a bond with you, they may stabilize your soul and counter fragment effects.
Anchor Bond: 1.2% Established
Current Corruption: 7%
Passive Effect: -1% Corruption Gain | +1% Resistance
