The meaning of Aron's words could be summed up in one sentence:
"Let it go, you're just a temp worker, you can't handle this."
Wanda's goals were too ambitious.
So massive that there was almost no chance of achieving them.
Simply put, she was like Deadpool, somehow, she became aware of the existence of the fourth wall, realizing she was just a character in a comic or film.
But Wanda didn't have Deadpool's big heart.
He could use the fourth wall as a stage, sometimes to vent, sometimes to joke with the audience.
But Wanda couldn't do that…
After realizing that all her suffering was probably pre-planned by others,
Wanda chose a different path.
"I'll rewrite everything."
"Not just for myself, but for everyone, for every Wanda."
The Lord of Chaos, Wanda, had already made her decision.
She was ready to sacrifice everything to achieve that goal.
Even killing versions of herself from parallel universes no longer weighed her down with guilt, because those other Wandas, from parallel worlds, were just puppets in comics and movies.
"If we can't change, how can we be human?"
Wanda spoke passionately.
Aron truly wanted to tell her the story of the brain in a jar, but in the end, he held back.
"Maybe in your opinion, your intentions are good."
"But in reality, even if you recreate the multiverse, the world you're hoping for still won't appear."
"Like… would it be a comic or a series?"
Aron pointed at her two faces as he spoke.
A multiverse reboot.
This operation in American comics had already become something routine.
Whether it was Marvel or DC, reboots happened countless times and what changed in the end?
Nothing. They only changed the cover, but the content stayed the same. One cycle after another…
"That…"
The Lord of Chaos was speechless for a moment.
Both overlapping faces showed confusion.
But soon that confusion turned into determination.
"Aron, please forgive me for misunderstanding you at the beginning."
"You really are a good man."
Hm?
Aron was confused.
Did he just get a good-guy ticket?
"Maybe you really deserve to be loved by more Wandas."
Wanda, the Lord of Chaos, said this with a determined smile.
Aron knew the final decision was coming.
"Let's make a bet."
"If you win, I give up everything and hand over all my chaos magic to your Wanda."
"If I win, I hope you'll stop trying to stop me and let me try, even if the odds are low."
"So what are we betting?"
"Gambling's not a good idea, it's easily banned."
Aron said half-jokingly.
"We're just betting whether you can beat me again."
After the Lord of Chaos said that, she stretched out her hand and pointed to the universe closest to them.
It was the world where the Solar System had been destroyed.
"I'll limit my power to what this universe can handle."
"Then we'll fight again."
"With one condition, that we don't destroy this universe."
"Win or lose."
The universe must not be destroyed.
This agreement meant Wanda had to limit her own power,
and project a part of herself into that single universe, in the form of a reflection.
Just like M-Wanda had done earlier.
And Aron couldn't use the power of the Vishanti or Chthon without limits.
The two entered a fair duel.
"Alright."
"But you don't mind if I call a few more people, right?"
Despite the limitations, Aron agreed without hesitation.
"Of course."
"But I take back what I said earlier, that you're a good man."
With those half-joking words.
Aron and the Lord of Chaos, Wanda, returned to that universe where the Solar System had been destroyed.
Space debris and remnants of planets floated everywhere.
The only difference was that now, there were many more people than before.
"Aron!"
"Aron!"
"Are you okay?"
"We've been waiting for you in Universe 838!"
When they saw Aron, the main Wanda from that universe, Diana, and America immediately ran up to him.
And they weren't alone, the Avengers from Universe 838, led by Tom's version of Iron Man, had managed to open an interdimensional portal and enter.
And they immediately ran into the Lord of Chaos, Wanda.
That group, thirsty for revenge, launched an immediate attack!
"Witch! Pay for the sins you've committed!"
Doctor Doom, known as a master of magic and technology, raised his hand and fired a radiant beam.
His armor was similar to Iron Man's.
All of it was cutting-edge technology.
The only difference was that Doom's armor had built-in magic circles, allowing him to instantly cast spells.
A fusion of technology and magic into a deadly attack.
And he wasn't the only one attacking!
Old Magneto!
Wolverine!
Invisible Woman Susan!
Tom Iron Man!
All the Avengers from Universe 838 launched a determined assault as soon as they saw the King of Chaos.
Invisible Woman Susan, in a space suit designed by her husband, used her mental powers against Wanda!
Without a word, old Magneto lifted two enormous planetary ruins into the air and hurled them at Wanda!
Wolverine, with boosters on his legs, rushed at Wanda, his steel claws flashing!
But the Lord of Chaos didn't even look at these people.
As if she didn't see them at all.
"I'm sorry."
"I shouldn't have lied."
"But this is something I must do."
The Lord of Chaos, Wanda, was looking at Aron the whole time.
The two overlapping silhouettes shed a tear at the same time.
Her lips moved, and she uttered only:
"NoMorePower."
The words were spoken in a calm tone.
No more power!
Just like she said in the comic, "No more mutants."
From the place where the Lord of Chaos, Wanda, stood, a blinding white light burst forth.
Doom's magical beam suddenly vanished.
As if it had never existed.
Magneto suddenly lost magnetic control, and the planetary ruins fell out of his grasp.
Wolverine lost his regeneration and began to age rapidly.
Invisible Woman Susan lost concentration and became visible.
"No!"
America beside Aron shouted.
And she lost her powers too.
And the impact of the phrase NoMorePower, spoken by the Lord of Chaos, continued to spread!
Not only did it cover the entire universe, but it extended into parallel universes!
Just as she said… she lied!
Because she uttered those words, NoMorePower, from an entity beyond the universe as well!
From the very beginning, it wasn't fair!
"I'm sorry, but this is something I truly must do…"
"Without those extraordinary powers, our world will no longer be special."
"Without the audience, the forces that bind us will disappear."
The Lord of Chaos turned and looked at Aron with regret.
All mystical powers were vanishing.
All universes affected by it were becoming ordinary.
"…"
Aron wasn't affected by the chaos magic, but the direction things were heading far exceeded his expectations.
He had just decided not to lie to people anymore.
And now he himself had been deceived.
"Just as I thought… lying and deceit are part of balance. If you don't deceive, you'll be deceived."
"Then I'll keep deceiving people."
Saying that, Aron looked up at the Lord of Chaos.
Even though now there was only a shining mass of light there, he knew Wanda was still inside.
"Hey, does our bet still stand?"
Aron drew a nearly new Glock G17 pistol with 9mm rounds from his spatial belt.
It was the pistol Mordo had used when he first crossed into another universe.
That was the first time Aron had been played and not lightly. Though, to be fair, he got back at Mordo much worse later!
But the pistol became a kind of memento.
"If the bet still stands, then I'm afraid you lost."
Aron said, and in the next moment disappeared from his place.
NoMorePower didn't affect him, nor that pistol.
Because it wasn't magic, it was science.
Aron reappeared.
He stood in front of the Lord of Chaos, with the Glock pointed at her forehead.
"This bullet, the witch earned it."
Aron was telling the truth.
Bang——!
A shot rang out.
The orange-yellow bullet pierced through the scarlet chaos magic, scattering brilliant red.
"You won."
Came the voice of the Lord of Chaos from beyond the universe.
Then the chaos magic that once belonged to her began to flow toward the main Wanda from the main universe.
"I fulfilled my promise and surrender all my chaos magic."
"But what I say is… you won."
"But I didn't lose."
Beyond the universe.
The Lord of Chaos, who had transcended the boundaries of a single universe, gradually disintegrated as her power retreated.
But her eyes remained fixed on the red wave called NoMorePower.
In them glowed a spark of relief.
"There should be more peace in the universe, there should be…"
