"So, you killed Gorr from another universe and took his All-Black the Necrosword?"
"And then…"
"And changed Gorr's fate in our world?"
Inside the Temple in New York.
The Ancient One had learned that Aron had once again made drastic changes in the timeline.
Her face was calm, without a trace of disturbance.
Aron was confused. Wasn't this supposed to be the most important thing to her?
She always worried about temporal disruptions, about possible catastrophes.
Why was she so calm this time?
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
As if reading his thoughts, the Ancient One said indifferently: "Don't forget, I am no longer the Sorcerer Supreme. The one who must worry now… is the Ancient One of the universe where Gorr belonged."
A faint smile appeared at the corner of her lips.
The very thought that another version of her would have to deal with Aron brought her a strange kind of satisfaction.
This child… had finally begun to spread across the cosmos, creating chaos wherever he appeared.
"Ancient One, have you ever been to other parallel universes?" Aron asked with genuine curiosity.
"Of course."
"I've seen many different versions of myself."
The Ancient One said, then noticed Aron's gaze.
She only rolled her eyes.
"I know what you're thinking. Don't compare me with that old man!"
It was clear she knew well what her counterpart in other universes was like, an old man from the East, serious and full of wisdom.
But for her here, that had no importance.
Every universe has its versions of people, each special and unique.
"Later…"
The Ancient One paused and looked straight into Aron's eyes.
"Which world do you actually come from?"
"Why have I never seen you in other parallel universes?"
She had encountered different versions of herself, different versions of Strange, Wanda.
But only… never another version of Aron.
"Emmm…"
Aron smiled, then said: "The world I come from has no one like me. There, they are only the ones who act as if they pluck stars, speak wisely, look perfect… and I am not part of that."
He did not want to speak further. His tone was half-serious, half-ironic, but enough to puzzle the Ancient One.
She looked at him for a moment but did not comment.
...
After that conversation, Aron left the Temple in New York.
As soon as he stepped outside, he raised his hand and cast a powerful searching spell.
It was the same type of magic he had used to find targets far away through network connections, now much stronger and more precise.
Magical energy permeated the whole world.
Not long after, he locked onto a certain place.
It wasn't far.
This time he did not teleport. Instead, he decided to fly himself, slowly.
He wanted to gather his thoughts about everything that had recently happened.
He had returned from Asgard after a huge drinking feast.
He had slept straight for two days and two nights.
"Worthy of Odin's thousand-year mead. The strength and endurance are truly incredible…" he muttered, shaking his head.
One of his few weaknesses, his resistance to alcohol.
He could not handle it the way he wanted.
But he did not care. He had greater goals ahead.
"However, Hercules actually joined the Avengers?"
Aron could not understand how Hercules had connected with Stark.
In any case, as soon as he woke up, the first news he read was precisely that, the Greek god Hercules had become a new member of the Avengers.
On the news screen, Tony Stark was smiling so widely that it seemed as if his mouth would never close. Grinning as if he had won the lottery, and Aron imagined himself taking a wrench and pulling out every tooth, one by one.
And that was not the only news.
In the past two days, besides the new Avengers members, Earth had also witnessed the return of long-absent wanderers.
A spaceship had landed in a small town in Colorado.
From it came out a man, a tree, a raccoon, and a whole crew of strange figures.
Aron didn't need much to realize, those were Star-Lord and the Guardians of the Galaxy.
But… he had no intention of paying much attention.
Maybe they just stopped by home to visit family.
For Aron, those were trivialities without weight.
He now had far more important matters.
"Sprite, little friend, you didn't think we forgot about you, did you?"
Sprite, who had once been one of the Eternals, had lost her powers and now looked like an ordinary teenage girl, though behind her stood thousands of years of life.
And Aron… After obtaining the comic version of the All-Black the Necrosword, his power had reached unimaginable proportions.
Strong enough to oppose even beings of cosmic level.
And not only that, the sword possessed the power to kill gods, which meant Aron could even challenge the Celestials.
Arishem?
If he dared to meddle with Earth, Aron would not hesitate.
Although he knew how powerful he was, he had not forgotten his original intent, he did not want to act like just another arrogant god.
He acted in his own way, no matter how childish it looked.
And if that meant going to a park to find Sprite… then that is exactly what he would do.
Guided by magic, he reached the place.
Below him stretched a children's park. Kids were playing, laughing, chasing each other.
"Maybe… open a mirror?" Aron thought.
Still, if someone recognized him, it might look strange. His reputation was not something he wanted to lose in such a stupid way.
"Forget it. Let's change the face."
His demonic energy stirred and Aron instantly changed his appearance.
If he remembered correctly, the last time he had used this skill was when he caused chaos in Florida.
Quietly, he landed in the park.
The magical trace led him to a small grove, where Sprite was supposed to be.
But before he got closer, a little girl suddenly jumped out of the bushes.
She saw him and immediately got scared.
"Aaaa! Monster!!"
"Pst~" Aron raised a finger.
"Don't cry. I'm a good man, really. If you cry, then I'll eat you."
He spoke calmly, but the little girl began to scream even louder.
"Woooooo!"
Her cry echoed like a siren alarm.
And it didn't take long for a new figure to appear.
Out of the bushes jumped a girl in a squirrel costume, with a headband on which were small ears.
On her shoulder sat a real squirrel.
"Stop! You scoundrel!"
She crossed her arms on her waist, her chest rising and falling as she shouted.
"Before you stands the unbeatable Squirrel Girl!"
"Sqkreee!" squeaked the little squirrel on her shoulder, as if confirming her words.
Aron laughed inwardly.
It was over.
He had met Marvel's most unexpected, yet most dangerous opponent.
