Chapter 19 - Act 19

OPENING SCENE — UNDERWORLD: BURNING FLAMES CITY – NIGHT

A demonic metropolis built inside a volcanic abyss. Buildings shaped like bones and obsidian. Fiery rivers run through alleys. Demons gather in a massive black amphitheater carved into the stone.

Spotlights ignite. Screams erupt. On stage, a glowing figure appears.

A demon pop star—LYRICA, part-siren, part-illusionist, all diva.

She flips her long crimson hair, wearing flame-woven boots and a glowing microphone that levitates before her. Her wings unfold like silk drapes.

SONG: "CRAVE THE BLADE"

🎵

LYRICA (singing):

🎤 Born from sparks and cursed applause,

 Dancing on a molten cause—

Do you bleed like me? Do you crave the blade?

Can your scream survive the serenade?

🎤 Hearts like mirrors, cracked with pride,

I kiss the edge and let it glide—

Don't you love it when they cheer your scars?

When broken dreams become your stars?

🎤 Oh—la la la… I'm flame, I'm fame… I'm fate in lace…

Oh—bring me the sword, let's set fire to grace…

🎵

Demons scream. Horns are thrown in the air. The stage explodes in fire. Lyrica bows dramatically, blowing kisses to the crowd of monstrous fans.

INT. LYRICA'S CHAMBER – NIGHT

She returns to a velvet-drenched room above the amphitheater. Lava flows beneath a glass floor. Mirrors line the walls. She pulls off her outfit, face calm, pensive.

LYRICA (to herself):

They cheer. But they don't know what I really want.

She gazes at an old scroll—a forbidden record of the Tonal Sword.

LYRICA (whispering):

Five notes… One voice.

If I had it… I wouldn't just perform.

I'd rewrite the music of the world.

She snaps her fingers. A swirling black-and-silver portal opens beside her bed.

TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE

Her demonic features fade. Horns disappear. Wings dissolve into sparkles. She becomes human—a stunning young woman with silver eyes, red lips, and glowing hair wrapped in a braided ponytail. Her voice remains haunting.

LYRICA:

Let's see if the surface world remembers how to scream for me.

She steps through the portal.

EXT. VILLAGE SQUARE — NEXT DAY – SUNSET

Children play. Merchants clean up their stalls. Suddenly, a soft voice begins to echo across the plaza. Music swells from nowhere.

LYRICA (O.S.):

🎤 If your world is dull and grey…

Let my song paint it all away…

 Come closer now—don't be afraid…

 Let your fears… just fade… fade… 🎵

Everyone stops. Turns. A crowd begins to form.

There she is—on a stone fountain—Lyrica in her human form, holding a glowing mic made of light and glass.

CROWD REACTS

VILLAGER #1 (blushing):

Who is she?

VILLAGER #2:

Is she… from the capital? She's too pretty to be local.

VILLAGER #3:

I'd let her step on me.

YOUNG BOY:

Mom, is she a goddess?

People cheer, scream, wave. A few faint. She finishes her song with a wink and a pirouette. The crowd goes wild.

MAEN & SHIN-RI WATCH FROM AFAR

They arrive late, watching over the sea of mesmerized townsfolk.

MAEN:

Okay. Who is that?

SHIN-RI (narrowing eyes):

Something's off. Her voice… it has the same vibration as the fragments.

MAEN (blinking):

You think she's after the Tonal Sword?

SHIN-RI:

No… I think she might be a part of it.

INT. INN ROOM – LATE NIGHT

Lyrica stands by a window overlooking the sleeping village. Her reflection in the mirror flickers—briefly showing her true demonic form.

She closes her eyes.

LYRICA (to herself):

They love me already.

But love… is the easiest way to steal a soul.
