Chapter 80 - Chapter 80: Crossbow S Appears

"S-Class Emergency Alert! A Demon-Level disaster has appeared in M City's Times Square!"

"Disaster Characteristics: Spirit-controlling monster, suspected of manipulating humans through special weapons."

"A-Class Heroes dispatched: Spring Mustachio, Golden Ball, Smile Man… all have lost contact!"

"Nearby S-Class Heroes, please proceed to assist immediately!"

After reading the message, Kaito's lips curled into a faint smile.

The timing, the location… it would be unbelievable if this wasn't Sykes's doing.

"Boss, are you going out?"

At some point, Mosquito Girl had already changed into a maid outfit and was standing quietly at the entrance, holding Kaito's black trench coat.

Kaito walked over, took the coat, and slipped it on. Suddenly, as if remembering something, he leaned down and whispered a few words into Mosquito Girl's ear.

"Whip… candles? Pepper spray? Essential balm?"

Mosquito Girl's eyes widened instantly, her small mouth slightly agape. "Boss… what do you need those things for?"

She seemed to have realized something, as a blush spread rapidly across her rosy cheeks. Her voice softened to a shy murmur.

"Then… I… I won't be able to bear it…"

Kaito looked at her shy, timidly adorable expression and couldn't help but chuckle softly.

With a hint of mischief, he didn't explain—he merely extended a finger and brushed it gently across her burning cheek.

"Good girl. Just go buy them. You'll know when I get back."

Mosquito Girl could only nod, her thoughts drifting in increasingly unhealthy directions.

M City's Times Square—once a bustling commercial hub—was now a scene of chaos.

Screaming crowds ran in every direction. Shattered glass littered the streets, and the air buzzed with panic.

Most bizarre of all, in the center of the square, hundreds of people stood in neat rows, their eyes replaced with strange heart-shaped symbols, their faces frozen in dreamy smiles.

At the front of the line stood a curvaceous blonde woman, whip in hand, pacing arrogantly.

She wore a black leather outfit that could barely be called clothing—a bra that just covered the essentials, a micro-mini skirt clinging to her hips, long legs sheathed in fishnet stockings, and heels sharp enough to pierce the ground.

A chain-decorated mask concealed her face, giving her a dangerous, magnetic allure.

Crack!

The whip split the air.

"Line up properly, all of you! You useless slaves!" Her voice carried a haughty trill. "To become the playthings of I, Queen Du S, is a blessing you've accumulated over many lifetimes!"

At the edge of the square, Kaito's black trench coat fluttered in the wind.

"It really is her… Du S, the infamous villainess from the One Punch Man 'little yellow book'."

This female monster—who had gained countless fans in the original work with her… unique training methods—was even more seductive in person.

Her proud bosom trembled with every lash of the whip; her curves were a dangerous temptation under the glossy leather. Even her steps, balanced on ten-centimeter stilettos, carried a rhythm that drew eyes like gravity.

Kaito didn't rush to intervene.

Arms crossed, he leaned lazily against the shattered display window of a boutique, watching the scene unfold.

From what he knew, Queen Du S was obsessed with her "training games" but rarely harmed her victims.

Since that was the case, why not see how Sykes planned to play this round of her "honey trap"?

Queen Du S strutted across the high platform at the center of the square. Each crack of her whip sent a ripple through the air—and through the hearts of her mesmerized captives.

"All of you, kneel down!" she commanded, her whip striking a man in a suit. "Today I'll properly discipline you disobedient slaves!"

Her tone was laced with cruel arrogance… yet underneath, a strange allure made every word sound like a dangerous invitation.

Kaito was watching with interest when hurried footsteps echoed from a nearby street.

Turning his head slightly, he saw a blue-haired schoolgirl with round-rimmed glasses running toward him in panic.

Two buttons of her school uniform had popped open, revealing a tantalizing hint of pale skin.

As she ran, she cried out desperately, "Lord King! Save me!"

Kaito raised an eyebrow, amusement flashing in his eyes.

Here she comes. Her acting was a bit exaggerated—but the emotion? Excellent. Definitely worthy of a "Best Newcomer" nomination.

The girl's cry also drew the attention of Queen Du S.

The moment she saw the girl clearly, Du S's pupils contracted sharply.

It's her!

The target that Great Eyes had ordered to be captured alive!

So this wasn't just a random rampage—Queen Du S had been given a direct mission from Great Eyes: capture the blue-haired girl from M City.

If she failed… she would be fed to Orochi, just like Awakened Cockroach.

The thought of the punishment awaiting her if she failed sent shivers down her spine. That chill quickly overpowered even her instinctive fear of King's legendary reputation.

"You little brat! Where do you think you're running?!"

Queen Du S shrieked, her composure cracking. Gone was the poised "Queen" demeanor—what remained was raw desperation.

Her form blurred into a black shadow as she lunged straight toward the blue-haired girl.

The whip in her hand lashed forward first, its tip coiling around the girl's slender waist like a venomous snake.

Queen Du S knew full well she was no match for King. Her plan was simple: grab the target and flee. As for the new "toys" she had just acquired—they were expendable.

Unfortunately for her… Kaito moved.

Since they'd gone to all this trouble to stage a "hero saves the beauty" scenario, it would be rude not to play along.

This time, he intended to claim both the villain and the beauty.

There was no earth-shaking explosion, no blinding flash—his body simply blurred for an instant.

And the next moment, Queen Du S found herself immobilized.

Her own whip had somehow turned against her, binding her in an intricate, humiliating tortoise-shell pattern. Her voluptuous figure strained against the leather, each breath only tightening the restraints.

"Ugh! Damn it! Let me go, you brute!"

Queen Du S's voice trembled between outrage and embarrassment, her face burning crimson.

A Demon-Level monster—captured in one move, and in such a degrading manner—her pride screamed in disbelief.

The whip dug into her soft skin, sending waves of pain laced with an unfamiliar thrill that made her body twitch involuntarily.

Meanwhile, the blue-haired girl hesitated before stepping forward, clutching the hem of her skirt with trembling hands.

"L-Lord King… th-thank you for saving me…" Her voice was as faint as a mosquito's hum, her lashes quivering. "If you hadn't appeared in time, I-I don't know what I would have done…"

She sneaked a quick glance at Kaito, then lowered her gaze again. Another button of her blouse had somehow come undone, exposing even more of her pale skin.

But Kaito was no longer in the mood to indulge the act.

He reached out a finger, hooked it under the girl's chin, and tilted her head upward until her eyes met his.

A knowing smile curved his lips.

"Sykes—or should I say, Great Eyes—was this little play of yours fun enough?"
