In the real world, she is a nineteen-year-old girl who avoids people and spends most of her time in her room reading and watching manga, comics, webtoons, and anime, mostly shoujo.
One of her favorite books had a very sad ending. To cut the story short, she somehow got trapped inside that book as Rin Kisaragi, trying to fix the ending.
But instead she became the villainess's obsession.

The fantasy world is called Kaida.
It is ruled by a Clan Lord, and those under the Clan Lord are called Clan Masters.
To become a Clan Lord, you must own many lands to earn that title.
There are many clans, but for now, the story focuses on two:
the Hoshino Clan and the Akarawa Clan.
They both own the same number of lands, but they fight every day to take more land from other clans.
They have been enemies for many centuries.
The Ice Kingdom is an island.
It is independent and does not answer to the Clan Lord.
Its territory is even bigger than the Clan Lord's.
Their power comes from the White Moon.
The Dark Kingdom is also independent, like the Ice Kingdom.
They use dark magic, and their power comes from the Dark Moon.
