Chapter 198 - Chapter 197: Tsuchikage Begs Me

"No need to worry, everyone! I was just messing with Tsuchikage-sama!"

With a wave of his hand, Kazama recalled the two Jinton beams, which had stopped mere millimeters from Tsuchikage's body.

As the Jinton vanished, the clothes on Tsuchikage's front and back disintegrated into dust.

This showed just how terrifying Kazama's Jinton was—its sheer pressure alone wreaked havoc before even making contact.

Tsuchikage's legs gave out from fear. No matter how his subordinates tried to help, he couldn't stand.

He had just felt death's cold grip.

But what scared him even more wasn't death—it was Kazama, who had mastered Jinton to a level of perfection, able to unleash and retract it at will.

Tsuchikage, a battle-hardened veteran, was no stranger to life-and-death situations.

But Kazama's display shattered everything he thought he knew.

As the sole inheritor of Jinton, even Tsuchikage couldn't recall a Jinton once it was unleashed.

Yet Kazama not only did it but controlled it with pinpoint precision.

That alone was enough for Tsuchikage to throw himself at Kazama's feet in awe and admit defeat.

The crowd and the other four Kage shared his sentiment.

Before Kazama accepted Tsuchikage's challenge, they all thought he was doomed. Yet he survived.

Not only that, he instantly mastered a Jinton even stronger than Tsuchikage's, cornering him completely.

And just when they thought Tsuchikage was a goner, he survived too—not because of his own skill, but because Kazama was just too extraordinary.

He had recalled the unleashed Jinton.

Faced with Kazama's string of mind-blowing feats, the crowd and the five Kage were utterly convinced of his prowess.

"I've lost!"

Even the stubborn Tsuchikage lowered his head in defeat.

"Since you've admitted defeat, Tsuchikage-sama, shouldn't you honor our agreement now?"

"Agreement?"

Tsuchikage was so shocked he'd completely forgotten the bet he made with Kazama.

"Father, didn't you promise Kazama that if you lost, you'd hand over all of Iwagakure's funds, ninjutsu, ninja tools, and strategic weapons to Oto-nin Village, no strings attached?"

"This… I…"

Kōtsuchi's reminder jolted Tsuchikage back to reality, and cold sweat poured down his face.

He'd been so confident of victory that he hadn't taken the bet seriously.

Now that he'd lost, the gravity of the agreement hit him hard.

If he really gave everything from Iwagakure to Oto-nin Village, his village would be on the brink of collapse.

"Kazama, my young friend, can we talk this over? I really can't…"

Tsuchikage forced a smile, practically begging Kazama for mercy.

"Kazama, my young friend…"

Kōtsuchi chimed in, bowing repeatedly.

"…Iwagakure has fought hard to get where it is today. If we give everything to Oto-nin Village, our village will cease to exist. Could you please show us some leniency?"

"What do you think?"

Kazama's smirk didn't reach his eyes.

Tsuchikage and Kōtsuchi knew he wasn't likely to agree.

So, they turned to Tsunade, pleading with her since she was Kazama's superior.
